We are absolutely thrilled with the care and environment provided at Child First Welbeck. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to the well-being and development of the children. Our baby has blossomed in their care, showing wonderful progress in social skills, creativity, and
confidence.
The facilities are top-notch, always clean, safe, and equipped with engaging and age-appropriate activities. The communication with parents is excellent, keeping us informed about our baby's daily experiences and milestones.
We couldn't be happier with our choice and highly recommend Child First Nursery Welbeck to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching place for their little one.

The best decision we ever made was to send our son to Child First Nursery. We decided to send him to nursery to help with his social skills and talking and he's come on leaps and bounds since starting in October. The nursery is perfect for him as he loves being outside in nature. He is so excited to
go when we tell him it's nursery day. He gets out the car and can't get in there quick enough. The staff are amazing, it's lovely to see how the staff has gotten to know our son as a person, as when he wasn't sure about it at the start they encouraged him by tailoring activities to what he likes so he would feel comfortable. They are great at communication and updating you on how his day is going, we also get frequent observations about how is he developing, which is lovely to hear, (especially with photos). The manager is really lovely and will support you in anyway she can.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone. Everyday again and again. My son adores it and I know yours will too!

Brilliant nursery, my child comes home very happy at the end of the day. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and the variety of activities the children can do is amazing. The outside space is great for their development. I'm overwhelmed with all my child's learnt since coming to this nursery.
Overall a great experience for both myself and my child. Would 100% recommend.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is thinking about starting their little one on their educational journey.
The setting and facilities are amazing and allow the little ones to spend most of their time outdoors.
The staff are excellent and very attentive to the little one's needs.
They sing, read, and plan activities to do with the children each day.
Everything is logged on an app so parents can see what their child has eaten, nappy/toilet visits, accidents, etc.
The staff go out of their way to accommodate you and are very quick to respond to any queries.

This place is amazing, the staff are friendly, helpful and most of all caring, their interaction has seen our twins develop and grow in both confidence and experiences.
It's not only the staff but the environment to, large outdoor play areas that allow kids to be kids, building experiences and friendships
as they go.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Child First Welbeck to anyone looking for a nursery and preschool place.

Fantastic nursery!
All the staff are so kind and welcoming, the outside spaces are brilliant if you have an outdoor-loving child and I have always felt supported by the management team if I have any queries or issues.
Just recently I was required to cut gluten out of my son's diet until his coeliac
screen came back, straight away I was met with support by the space leader who kindly asked for a list of the things he liked to eat and she would add it to the shopping list for the next week. She said she would make him a little box up with his gluten-free snacks and food. I was very reassured that he would be supported with his gluten-free diet.
My first child came here and enjoyed it and now my youngest loves it too. The best nursery around!

Picking up my daughter always reminds me why I am so pleased and feel lucky we were told about this nursery. I arrive outside of this old building with its walled-in gardens, with direct access to the gardens via a secure entrance point. They are outside. Not a small fenced minimal area, but a green
field full of real activities. Most of these sustainable built areas are lovingly put together using recycled timber and materials from around the historic Welbeck estate. My daughter is often playing with her nursery friends, often with a member of staff (for me not essential as she gains her own independence co-playing). I sit at the outdoor tables under a shelter and chat with the staff as they tell me about her day.
The staff are so friendly and attentive.
My daughter is in her nursery clothes because she lives her day to the fullest and she will need a bath! She is smiling, and for me, she will have been outside in a safe space... bumps and dirt included!

Choosing Child First is hands down one of the best decisions we have made for our children. The staff team is incredible. They have supported not only our twins but also us as a family. Our children are given the best care and I drop them off each day knowing they are safe, well cared for, and happy

Our toddler is very happy at Child First Welbeck and so are we! Though we came to Child First Welbeck after being left in the lurch when our old nursery closed, we have had the most happy accident of her moving. Our little girl loves her friends and we are so pleased with how she is getting on, how
she’s developing and the support that she gets from everyone at nursery. We wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else.

Cannot recommend this nursery enough! My daughter attended Child First from being 18 months old and from her very first day I have been continuously impressed! It made myself and my daughter extremely sad when it was time for her to start school this September! The staff are phenomenal, extremely knowledgeable,
caring, kind and are always willing to answer any questions. Nothing was too much trouble! My daughter loved being outside at nursery splashing in puddles, running around in the rain, having stories under the trees and her favourite part was the allotment and being able to eat the tasty treats! The nursery itself is in one of the most amazing locations and the fact that the children get to go and explore is fantastic! I cannot say enough! An absolute gem of a nursery!

I was so worried about sending my little one to nursery and really struggled to find the right place. Thankfully I came across Child First Welbeck. It is a fantastic outdoor nursery. My little one has such a wonderful time and sometimes we struggle to get her to come home at the end of the day! The

Fab nursery, our son started at around 7 months old and with both myself and my partner working full time we were looking for the right place for us as a whole family. The staff have been super supportive with my partner working away, they genuinely care and keep me regularly updated with pictures to
reassure us both. Our son has been with the team for around 18 months now and is very attached to his key workers, all of the staff say hello to him each morning and know him by name. Our son has developed really well and even uses sign language to say please and thank you daily. He loves the time outdoors, the activities and the food provided. We are very lucky to have this nursery so close to home we would highly recommend it.

So far my son has been with this nursery for 6 months (since he was 7 months) and I wish I knew about this nursery sooner when my daughter was younger. My boy has come on leaps and bounds and absolutely loves this nursery. They are based outside and the staff look after them and love them like their
own, the kids are free and get to explore their areas as they wish and it looks like so much fun! The relationships my son has built is incredible and he really wants for nothing when he is there. Would 100% recommend it to anyone who is outdoorsy and wants their child to be around nature and explore!

When looking for a nursery for my son, I wanted two things: for them to provide him with experiences I couldn't do at home and to care and love him like I do. This nursery ticks both boxes! My son started at 9 months and he has settled in so well and that is down to the staff there. I cannot speak more
highly of them and they have made the whole family feel welcome. The nursery has so many opportunities for children to learn through play and the staff will do anything to help families, whether it's with sleep, eating or finances. I can see that by the way they interact with my son and take the time to speak to myself about his day, that they genuinely care for him and, as a working mum, that is so reassuring. I could not be happier with my choice of nursery.

It's an amazing place for kids. We came from Ukraine and my son was very stressed and he didn't speak English before.
In a few months of being at Child First Welbeck, he became so good in English, in communication, in everything. They did a great job and helped him to get through all.

I began my career whilst studying at university and worked as a 1:1 with a 4-year-old boy with autism, this sparked an interest in how the mind works, especially in children. I then worked in a mother and baby unit, supporting young mums and their children and teaching them about life skills, how to care for their children, and how to look after themselves. I worked for Nottingham City council for 10 years as a senior residential social care worker with children ranging from 4 years to 19 years, with learning disabilities, autism, and mental and physical disabilities. I love weekends away with my family, very spicy food, live concerts and long walks with my dog.

My name is Louise and I have worked with preschool children for 20 years. For 16.5 years it was with children with additional needs. I qualified as an NVQ level 3 in early years care and education practitioner. Family time is extremely important to me, and it’s fantastic that we have just had a new addition to ours; Elijah Daniel who is extremely scrummy.

Hi, my name is Ellen. I am the finance and administration supervisor at Child First Welbeck. I have a daughter who is currently in the Hatchling Space so it is lovely to see as a parent all the amazing work the practitioners do!


In my spare time, I like to go on days out with my family and take as many trips to Disneyland as I can fit!
