Choosing a nursery to send your children to is one of the most difficult decisions. However my children picked Child First and it picked me, from the moment we entered we were all hooked by the beautiful setting. We were instantly welcomed as a family, our thoughts and wishes valued and each of our
children treated as individuals.
The girls were/are always excited to be going to nursery and had wonderful stories to tell, once been about their adventures. Their self-confidence and personality have grown incredibly strong and their love for the outdoors has blossomed! The only way I can sum up our experience is it felt like leaving my children in the care of family! Thank you to all at Childfirst for enabling me to go back to work worry free!

Moving our little girl to this nursery was the best decision we have ever made. All the staff are so attentive, loving, caring and supportive. They actively encourage them to be children, to have fun and to learn while doing so. My little girl absolutely loves all the members of staff and the nursery.
And of course, one of the best things is she gets to be herself. The fact that this nursery is mainly all around being outside and exploring and growing makes it such a magical and one-off place for these children.
The chef is amazing. My little girl eats so much more now after being able to experiment with her foods. Every child that attends here is kind, loving and caring. It really is like a large family. I can’t thank the team enough for everything they do. One of a kind.

My son is very outdoorsy and Childfirst Nursery Welbeck is perfect for him. There is a fantastic outdoor playing including resident chickens and rabbits.
When he first started he was very shy and was quite clingy. Now after spending time with the staff he's really come out of his shell and looks forward
to his days at nursery!

Great nursery. Moving our son here was one of the best things we’ve done for him, he has so much fun and has really blossomed. The staff are really professional and love their jobs. They spend time getting to know the children really well. The setting is lovely, the handover at the end of each day is
always good. Every day is a sunny day at Childfirst Welbeck!

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since joining Childfirst. She loves getting messy and playing outdoors and she can do so to her heart's content here. The outdoor space is unbelievable and set right in the middle of the estate. The staff are brilliant and create a real home from home environment!

I began my career whilst studying at university and worked as a 1:1 with a 4-year-old boy with autism, this sparked an interest in how the mind works, especially in children. I then worked in a mother and baby unit, supporting young mums and their children and teaching them about life skills, how to care for their children, and how to look after themselves. I worked for Nottingham City council for 10 years as a senior residential social care worker with children ranging from 4 years to 19 years, with learning disabilities, autism, and mental and physical disabilities. I love weekends away with my family, very spicy food, live concerts and long walks with my dog.
