The nursery boasts a 'home-from-home' atmosphere and offers plenty of opportunities for children to grow and develop into independent learners. The nursery is composed of four spacious rooms, each thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of children at different developmental stages, equipped with age-appropriate resources that encourage them to take charge of their learning and development.

The 'Little Dreamers' room is tailored for infants aged around 0-6 months and offers a variety of sensory experiences with different textured equipment that promotes exploration and investigation of their surroundings. The 'Discoverers Room' is for babies aged around 6-12 months, where they continue to be encouraged to be independent and learn their first words while playing and communicating with their peers. The 'Explorers' room is where children aged around 1-2 years old start building friendships and learn essential skills such as letters, numbers, and colours.

The Pre-School room is for children aged around 2-4 years to engage in various areas of learning, such as messy play, physical education, construction skills, mathematics, and sensory play. The room also focuses on preparing children for their next stage of learning at 'big school' and works with families to ensure each child is confident and ready for this crucial milestone.

Both of my children attend the nursery and my eldest has been there since she was 10 months old. The staff are all excellent and really take the time to get to know all of the children, this is evidenced in how comfortable all of the children seem with the staff. The children participate in a wide range
of activities and are always being encouraged in their learning. Parents are kept updated via the app as to what their child is doing each day which is great and so reassuring.
Staff at the nursery were incredibly supportive and helpful whilst my child was potty training, which made a challenging situation much easier. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

Our two boys have been coming here since January and they have both improved massively.
The staff are always so enthusiastic from pick up to drop off. When our 18 month old is a bit upset going in, they're always there to cuddle him right away and it soon stops.
Food is good and varied and we are
regularly updated through the app on what they have eaten along with pictures of their day so far.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

Since my son has started nursery I feel he has come along way, he has learnt so much since he started in 2022 and has gained so much confidence. He is always happy & smiling when I pick him up so that always makes me feel so happy knowing he has had a fab day. and very settled. He loves the staff and

My daughter goes to nursery here and it is lovely. I have never had any concerns regarding the level of care she receives. She loves attending nursery and her days are full of fun activities.
They are very accommodating to her needs and support her all the time.

Our daughter loves coming to nursery. She's greeted at the door by her friends and the staff are very engaged and welcoming - especially on days she's a bit reluctant for me to go. We are kept up to date on staffing with photos so we know who our daughter is with. The setting is always clean! I feel

The nursery has great staff who have always been transparent with our daughter's day at nursery. They have also been great with her once starting potty training and have always been available for a cuddle if she is feeling a bit nervous.

Both my children have attended for 18 months and have shown great achievement in all parts of their development. The staff at the nursery are always informative on pickup, and always approachable. We are very happy with how our children are excited and happy to attend and have made many friends and

The Old Station Nursery is incredible, I cannot fault them, they work brilliantly as a team to provide the best care for the children, they all have great relationships with the children and are enthusiastic as soon as you walk through the door until the moment you walk out, the management team are
great if I have any concerns or worries they will rectify it quickly and are always available to chat to. They continuously put care notes throughout the day of when your child has been changed, eaten or doing activities to keep me updated on my child. My child really enjoys nursery and I can trust that they give excellent care when I'm not with her. They have different menus that rotate throughout and the meals are nutritional and look nice. They always abide by safeguarding policies and procedures.

My grandson attends the nursery and he has been welcomed and is well known by all of the staff and they are able to meet his needs. When he comes to nursery he is settled as they have got to know him. When I arrive to collect him, I am always asked for a password if a new member of staff doesn't know
me. I feel it is like a 2nd home for my grandson and he has come on leaps and bounds and the staff are happy for me to stay and play with him for a period of time to make him feel secure with them when I drop him off and when I come to collect if he is playing with something they welcome me to stay because he loves it so much he gets upset when I try to take him home as he is playing with his friends.

My son has been at nursery for nearly a year and has been really well cared for right from the start. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and caring. My son obviously feels safe and happy there which is so reassuring as a parent. He loves the activities they do and the staff have been supportive

On the face of this nursery, it seems to be an exceptionally good one. However, my son started in January and every day he attended there was an accident form to sign. It turned out there was another child constantly hitting my son. I had conversations with the Area Manager as well and the Manager and
Deputy Manager. They separated the children for a week and the hitting stopped but as soon as that week was over the hitting started again. I asked the staff to have a conversation with the other child’s parents but they were hesitant about that but eventually did it, to find out that child needed to be safeguarded. The nursery staff didn’t think to do this themself which in itself is concerning and it took me, a new parent to the nursery to say this is what needs to be done. The staff there strike me as unbothered and only really there to get an income. I would say if you don’t genuinely have an interest in this area, simply get a different job!

My daughter has been attending this nursery for over 2 years. The management and staff have always been welcoming and approachable. Communication with the nursery is excellent; they regularly send out newsletters, the app provides info on my child's daily activities, including what she eats and a picture.
Staff take the time to get to know the children. My daughter engages in a variety of fun activities and messy play, which she absolutely loves. As a parent, I've also appreciated being able to participate in workshops at the nursery alongside my daughter for occasions like Mother's Day. My daughter has formed a strong bond with her key worker who she refers to as her best friend. This speaks volumes about the nurturing environment. I have watched my daughter grow into a chatty, confident and caring little girl during her time here. Choosing this nursery has been one of the best decisions I've made for my daughter. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

This nursery is fantastic. My son loves attending and has made some lovely friends. He loves all of his teachers. The management has been great in supporting my family when we needed to increase his hours at short notice.
The activities are great and the newly refurbished garden, and I can tell they
do lots of reading, as he always talks about the new ones he learned. Great location too in the town centre. Highly recommended.
