The Old Station Nursery Bromsgrove is a purpose-built childcare setting located in Worcestershire, providing a secure and nurturing environment for children to thrive and build a strong foundation for their future. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The nursery boasts a 'home-from-home' atmosphere and offers plenty of opportunities for children to grow and develop into independent learners. The nursery is composed of four spacious rooms, each thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of children at different developmental stages, equipped with age-appropriate resources that encourage them to take charge of their learning and development.

The 'Little Dreamers' room is tailored for infants aged around 0-6 months and offers a variety of sensory experiences with different textured equipment that promotes exploration and investigation of their surroundings. The 'Discoverers Room' is for babies aged around 6-12 months, where they continue to be encouraged to be independent and learn their first words while playing and communicating with their peers. The 'Explorers' room is where children aged around 1-2 years old start building friendships and learn essential skills such as letters, numbers, and colours.

The Pre-School room is for children aged around 2-4 years to engage in various areas of learning, such as messy play, physical education, construction skills, mathematics, and sensory play. The room also focuses on preparing children for their next stage of learning at 'big school' and works with families to ensure each child is confident and ready for this crucial milestone.

My son has been attending My First Friends since he was nine months old. He is now two and a half. Seeing how he has developed within the nursery and been supported through all his stages has been amazing. The staff are very attentive, with one practitioner being a firm favourite of my son. He truly
has made friends for life here. I would highly recommend.

Amazing nursery, my little boy has been there nearly a year now and throughly enjoys every day that he is there and has learnt so much and progressed as a person himself. He learns something new every day. The staff are great with my little boy and he loves them too.

This nursery is the best I have seen, they have helped my daughter overcome so much with confidence. She has achieved so much in a few months of starting and the staff are so lovely and always give feedback on how she has done at the end of the day at nursery. They also have an app where they will put
pics up of your child and tell you what they have done throughout the day and tells you what/how much they have eaten also when they have a nap/nappy change. My daughter loves coming to 'My First Friends Nursery' and is always sad to leave at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone with children from a few months old to 5yrs.

Since my daughter started at My First Friends Nursery I've seen massive progress in her, she had been going there since she was about 11 months old. She is now 2. Everyone always comments how clever she is and how well she can hold a conversation at the age off 2, not to mention she can also count.
My First Friends Nursery has really impressed me and I will recommend this nursery to anybody with children.

After recently locating to the area, I was nervous about what nursery to send my son to, but I couldn't be happier with his nursery. They were very flexible with his transition, patient and contacted his previous nursery for background and to make sure they understood his previous routines, likes/dislikes.


He

has been in the nursery for over a month now and he absolutely loves it. When he arrives he cheers and I love the app, so you can look at all the activities he's having.
He has come on since starting there and I feel very settled to know he is in safe hands. The staff are brilliant, attentive and always there to answer any question or concerns.
I'm very happy with this nursery.

My 1-year-old has been going to the nursery for 5 weeks now and I have been very impressed with the nursery so far. The settling in sessions before my child attended were great and put us both at ease - we felt we could ask any questions and were not rushed with anything.


My little one has settled

well at the nursery. One of my concerns was that my little one was struggling with naps but the nursery staff have persevered and made sure that my little one is getting a nap.


The staff are so friendly and always willing to have a chat and the facilities and activities they do with the children are superb. My little one has come on leaps and bounds in a few weeks.


One of the features I really like is the parent app. It is great to see what my little one is doing throughout the day and it’s a great resource.


It is a lovely, friendly nursery and my little one seems to really enjoy her time at the nursery.

My eldest son has been at this nursery for almost 2 years now. And in the past 2 months, my youngest son has joined the nursery too. We are very happy with the staff, the spacious rooms and the resources. The most important aspect for us is the staff they all extremely friendly, accommodating and very
approachable. They would always go the extra mile to meet our children's need. The deputy manager is excellent and always very approachable.
Another feature which I am very impressed by is the parents link application which is updated thoroughly out the day to show the children's activities with pictures and what meals they have eaten. A special mention to one member of the team and a member who recently joined the team. They are very efficient in keeping me updated with the app throughout the day.
They are always reliable and open all year round even when we had the bad snow storm they remained open everyday.
Overall we are extremely happy and we would definitely recommend it.

This is a lovely nursery, which I strongly recommend. The management team is very friendly and effective; the members of staff are equally very friendly, welcoming and do their job with passion. My son started going there when he was just 5 and half months old and has attended a few sessions a week
over the past couple of months, before going there full time in September. He has settled in very well and seems to enjoy his time there. Whenever I leave him, he seems happy and I know he is well looked after. The nursery also uses an app which keeps me updated about my child's daily routine and has observations written by the staff.
So far, I have been extremely pleased with the level of care provided and how I have been treated as a parent. I have no doubt that once my son attends nursery full time in a couple of months time, he will flourish.

My First Friends Bromsgrove is a brilliant nursery. My daughter has been going there for 2 and half years now and she loves it, they do a variety of activities which my daughter loves and she always comes home talking about what she has been doing. ie been playing in the sandpit, making gloop, playing
in dinosaur corner or making things. I’m soon to be sending my son there and I’m sure he will love it as much as my daughter.

This nursery, I don't know where to start it has exceeded my expectations and more.
My son is so happy and flourishes here, the staff are so welcoming, friendly and fill you will confidence. Every day the crossover on how your child has been and what they have eaten and done is always given even though
most parents have the app they use. I have recommended this nursery on so many occasions and will continue to do so. My son is happy to go every morning, his development is brilliant and that's down to the support the staff of My First Friends Bromsgrove give. The food menu for the children is to a very high quality to ensure your child has the variety and nutrition they need.

I cannot rate My First Friends Bromsgrove high enough. My son is only 13 months old and has been going to nursery for 5 months.
At first, it was daunting leaving my baby for a day let alone a week but all the staff made us feel comfortable and with settling in days my son was familiar with his surroundings
before day 1.
The staff are great, very caring and attentive and always get a very big smile from my son on arrival!
He is always busy doing lots of different activities to broaden and develop his skills, and I can check on this all day through the app.
The nursery provides all food throughout the day with a fresh hot meal at lunchtime and it is very rare my son eats less than 100%
People say the price of nursery, in general, is a lot, but personally, I don’t think you can put a price on knowing that your child is happy and well looked after when they’re not with you. I wouldn’t want him anywhere else!

This is a wonderful place where children are encouraged to learn and develop essential skills. My daughter adores the staff and has been allowed to explore many different types of activities.
