Rayners Lane Montessori School provides childcare in a quiet and pleasant environment within the Beacon Centre, which is located between Rayners Lane and South Harrow. Rayners Lane Montessori provides a bright, homely & friendly environment, with individually focused areas of learning. There is a large outdoor space for children’s physical play, and a focus learning outdoor classroom.

The service provides a learning environment based on Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy and principles of a child-centred education, and it is their mission to provide the children and their families with a harmonious, nurturing environment where the whole child can develop according to their individual needs.

The classroom at Rayners Lane Montessori nursery is designed to provide a prepared environment which constantly stimulates the child's natural desire to learn and explore through the use of hands-on learning materials. They welcome families with children aged 6 months to 5 years to grow, learn and play in a unique atmosphere purposefully created for them.

The catering staff prepare fresh and nutritious snacks in the nursery with the children based on individual children's needs, giving them the energy they need for a busy day of playing and learning.

Our 1-year-old daughter joined the nursery in January 2025. We had initial settling sessions which were really helpful to get to know the process, teachers and environment and also develop 2-way communication. Since then our daughter settled nicely within a few weeks, the nursery staff are all so caring
and they include our little one in all activities and we have started to notice development and growth already.

My daughter (1 year old) started nursery in June 2024 she settled in lovely, staff were very attentive to her needs and made her feel comfortable straight away. She loves going to nursery and doing all the activities the teachers have planned out for the day. I also love the extracurricular activities
they provide, where my one-year-old is now picking up some Spanish words. I have seen my daughter's confidence and independence grow since attending nursery. The staff are wonderful, very knowledgeable, always willing to help. I love this place and so does my baby.

I'm the mother of a child and I can only say the most wonderful things about the guardians of my child, who take the upmost pride in their work. One of the teachers works so hard to make sure my child is looked after and the way she handles my child makes me so thankful and lucky to have such a caring

My niece who attends Rayners Lane Montessori absolutely loves it here. She always comes home with so much joy. The staff are excellent and give their most attention, helping them to learn, develop, and educate. I would recommend this place if anyone is thinking of placing their child.

I am very lucky to find this nursery. My baby had a comfortable settle-in period. The staff takes complete care of my child. They provide care and guidance to children and parents.
I see teachers are involved in the daily activities of the day. They ensure a variety of activities and participation
of the child. My child loves the food at the nursery. I see in the photos that he is really enjoying his day, and getting more social. Making new friends, learning, and developing well.

My child started attending Rayners Lane Montessori Nursery and I felt I had the best experience so far. Being a first-time mother gives you so much anxiety and insecurity about how your child will settle in the new environment but Rayners Lane Montessori has given the best reassurance/best settling-in
anyone can ask for. Their staff, their settling-in sessions the overall atmosphere of the nursery are the best experiences so far. I got to know them through common friends and was highly impressed with the diverse culture they have in terms of children and teachers and last but not the least the parent partnership they offer. Being a vegetarian nursery is another added advantage for us being a vegetarian family. Management is highly approachable and they have an open-door policy they quickly respond to if you have any questions or queries.

Wonderful nursery. Our son was a difficult settler, we are thankful for the staff and management for settling him with so much love and care. The teachers are truly invested in children's development as learners. The nursery is clean and fresh food is served to kids with delicious food menus. They offer
amazing extracurricular activities 4 days a week which has manifested valuable learning skills at a child's own pace. Highly recommend this nursery.

We started sending our son last year. He was struggling a bit with communication. Staff and management were quick to identify and communicate that to us and had regular sessions to devise strategies to help out development. Over the past 4 months, our son has come a long way and is a lot better now.
They take care of children like their own and always go the extra mile. We wish we didn't have to move - wouldn't loved to continue. He will miss his teachers at Rayners Lane.

Our 3.5-year-old has been going to Rayner's Lane Montessori for the past 9 months.
We have had a wonderful experience so far.
They have a huge focus on keeping your kids engaged through different activities and they keep bringing new ideas.
We also appreciate their cleanliness inside the facility.
All
the teachers are very experienced in handling kids and different situations.
The head teacher is extremely professional and prompt in responding to the queries. She also makes sure the kids get the individual attention they need.
All in all great nursery, with highly professional and polite teachers and a huge focus on kids' activities.
I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been attending Rayners Lane Montessori for over six months now, and he is incredibly happy there - it feels like a second home to him. All of the staff are very caring and supportive, providing him with a lot of attention, care, and positivity. They are also very efficient, which is great.
The teachers are friendly and have a great rapport with the children.
Initially, we were concerned about our son's eating habits, but the nursery staff were very accommodating and helped us encourage him to eat better. I love all the activities that the nursery provides, especially Spanish classes, sports classes, and activities that improve the child's development.
I would like to thank all the teachers for organizing the wonderful Christmas event and upcoming workshops on positive parenting. The monthly newsletters are very helpful in tracking the child's development, and regular golden moments are really helpful.

Our twin three-year-old daughters have started to go to the nursery since January 2023. We have observed a huge difference in their behaviour since they started to go to the Rayners Lane Montessori. They started saying full sentences after starting nursery. They are now listening to our instructions.
We have previously had issues with them wearing party wear to attend functions, but now they listen to us and do accordingly. Both twin daughters love to go to the nursery. I am also very satisfied with the regular feedback we receive about everyday events and food.

My son has been attending this nursery since April 2022(when he was 3 years old). He settled into this nursery very well and loves interacting with teachers, staff and children at the setup. We've seen a significant improvement in him since he switched from an earlier nursery to Rayners Lane Montessori.
The staff are very friendly, patient and knowledgeable and cater to parent's and children's needs. My son has developed many skills and this is all because of the hard work put in by every staff member. They have a lot of activities to help shape the child and prepare them for school. My daughter started at twenty-five months and I was nervous as she had been not so social since birth due to pandemic restrictions. First week of settling was scary for me as she didn't settle very well, right after a couple of weeks, I could see a complete change in her behaviour. The entire staff
have been reassuring and supportive throughout the whole settling process. Communication is regular, immediate, effective and professional with the staff, which makes it easier for the parent to understand how their child is doing in the nursery. Now my daughter wakes up every morning with a bright smile asking me to take her to "Mo"(i.e Montessori in her language). Also, the food is delicious, fresh and healthy - she loves it! Overall, this nursery is a caring environment where my daughter is flourishing. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent or carer.
