Banana Moon Day Nursery in Rothwell, staff always try to see everything from a parent's perspective.

CCTV operates throughout the nursery to protect children, staff and parents. A finger print biometric entry system is also used. This system allows nursery personnel to quickly register every parent and carer's fingerprint.

Children can have fun exploring the world of colour, shapes and texture through the use of toys, adult interaction and sensory experiences.

The children go outside every day to get exercise and learn more about the world. All age groups benefit from daily outdoor activities.

Sleep rooms have cots and sleep mattresses and every child has their own bed linen which is cleaned in house. At all times, staff strive to keep to parents' desired sleep patterns and routines.

Nutritionally balanced meals are made using fresh ingredients, suiting different food preferences and dietary needs.

We have used Banana Moon since 2017 with our eldest child. Our second child currently attends. Both children have absolutely loved their time at Banana Moon. They have always been happy and had a good relationship with the staff. Staff have also been supportive in helping us with issues relating wot
food, sleep and toilet training.

Amazing! Always listens to my concerns and tries their best to accommodate my child. Nothing is too big or too small. From food to play time they always make sure my child is ok.

Absolutely wonderful. The girls are so friendly, caring, and lovely and I feel so safe and secure knowing my child is here and well looked after. The food is also fantastic and is always a good variety.

My son's progression since starting BM has been amazing! All the staff are amazing and are on hand to answer any questions I may have. My son has a special place for 3 particular members of staff. He loves playing, making friends, and learning. I've also made friends since he's been here.
I also want
to say a special thanks to the manager, who always a polite greeting which makes me feel a lot better when leaving, and always answers any questions I have within the day. I wish my son could stay instead of going to primary.

Banana Mood is a perfect nursery. We have never had any issues regarding our son. Always kept up to date with the things he has done throughout the day. We would recommend the nursery to anyone who asks.

My son has attended Banana Moon since before he was a year old. His development since being here is amazing, the variety of activities and attention to his progression has helped him to come on so much. All the staff are so knowledgeable and so approachable. My son has formed strong bonds with them

My daughter has recently started in the baby rooms, my first impression was amazing, the staff is helpful and friendly. I have seen some amazing activities. The management team is very knowledgeable. Everyone always seems very happy and enthusiastic.

All the staff are very welcoming and kind.
The food always looks/smells good, and is healthy.
Very strict with the door/entrance (no tailgating), which puts my mind at ease.

Just wanted to say a formal thank you to a particular member of staff, her communication today with my child being a bit under the weather has been brilliant. As a parent, this is hugely reassuring knowing that our little one is getting the love and attention she needs when feeling poorly.
Happy to
admit I am a needy parent at the best of times but this particular member of staff and the Mini Moons communication as always is faultless.
Thank you this staff member, superstar as always. Also, we wanted to give a shout-out to another particular staff member! We have noticed how much effort he puts in with the Mini Moons, he doesn’t shy away from getting involved in reading and playing with kids. Our daughter has been mentioning his name more and more to us. She takes her time bonding with men so it is a testament to his perseverance and consistency that she calls him her friend super cute.
