The staff and facilities are brilliant and the children have lots of opportunities to play in the garden all day if they wish, which my son does as he loves outdoors and water/sand play. My son was previously at another nursery but we moved him here after a poor experience. It was the best thing I did
as he now loves going to nursery, his speech has improved (he had a speech delay) and his social interactions with other children are vastly different too. It is clear that staff genuinely care about the children and my son adores several of the staff in particular. The nursery is a bit of a travel for us but is worth it for the positive experience and knowing that my son's happy there. Lots of photos are uploaded on the app each day as well as information about their meals. My son is in full days and has 3 meals and 2 snacks each day, which is more than is offered at many nurseries and he is never hungry when he comes home. Banana Moon has been amazing for us, I would highly recommend them.

Our son has been attending Banana Moon Day Nursery Dyce since September 2022 and we couldn't be happier that he is in their care. The staff are all wonderful, kind, caring, attentive, and supportive. I really feel like they have got to know my son, and we can tell that he absolutely loves the time that
he spends there. The app is brilliant and gives us a huge insight into his nursery days. The menus are detailed and varied and I feel like my son is getting offered lots of lovely meals. The activities that are organised look so interactive and detailed and fun. The correspondence from the nursery is always easy to understand and I've always felt like I can contact them for anything. I truly think my son is getting so much from being at Banana Moon.

With any issue, my child has experienced whether toileting, emotions or other children's behaviour. I've found raising my concerns handled extremely well. Various teachers have taken the time with each child to work on helping them understand feelings, basic skills and using kind caring techniques to
resolve and encourage the children to flourish. It can't be easy with so many children but also find the food is really healthy and varied.

Our son has settled in so well at the nursery. The staff are always really lovely, the meals and snacks are nutritious and varied, the range and variety of activities are huge and updates provided on the app regarding meal and snacks, sleep, news and activities complete with photos is brilliant.
We
are completely satisfied that this nursery was the right choice for us.

My son has been at Banana Moon Day Nursery Dyce for almost 2 years now and honestly hands down a particular member of staff and her team have been nothing but short of amazing! They nurture and help children to grow in a structured way and their training and knowledge of additional needs is fantastic.
The app is brilliant, the girls update it frequently and I love how it highlights golden moments and achievements.
Nothing is too much trouble and all my child’s needs have been listened to and met.
I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Our son attends Banana Moon Dyce and I couldn't be happier with the care they provide for him. The staff are all so caring and welcoming. My partner and I love the app updates to see what they get up to during the day. Our son is brought up on a vegan diet and not once have we had any concerns that
he isn't being fed what we wish for him to eat. We hugely appreciate this. We love the nursery so much that we've already enrolled our second child we are currently pregnant with!

My eldest son attended Banana Moon Dyce before starting school and truly loved his time there so I had no hesitation for my youngest son to also attend Banana Moon Dyce which he has done for almost 3 years now. I could not be happier with the care provided, the wonderful staff take the time to get to
know your child and my son truly looks forward to attending nursery each day. There is a wide range of fun, educational activities which are perfect for their ongoing development and the app is a lovely touch so that we are kept informed of our child's day. All of the staff are exceptionally welcoming and approachable, they have had a tough couple of years with the pandemic however throughout they have always shown that they have had the safety of the children at the forefront of their minds. I could not recommend this nursery enough!

Both of our sons have been in Banana Moon Nursery (Dyce) for more than a year. We receive hourly updates regarding their activities, snacks, and meals as well as photos. We are reassured that our sons are safe and happy when attending the nursery. The activities are well developed, and they are following
a well-organised curriculum.
The staff are always polite and happy, giving us a summary when we collect them every day. We are noticing that the staff and manager are improving their knowledge about the children every day. This ensures us that they care about the children and the quality of the services they provide to the parents.

Banana Moon Day Nursery Dyce is absolutely brilliant, for both myself and my son. The manager is fantastic at always keeping us up-to-date on any information parents need to know. My son is so happy to be in the nursery that he runs in, smiling ready for his day. He always comes out of nursery happy,
telling me about the fun he has had with his little friends.
The staff are brilliant at keeping me updated on how my son is doing on the Banana Moon app. I get plenty of information and photos and I love seeing him looking so happy in the photos.
The staff are very easy to talk to. I couldn’t have picked a better nursery for my son.

Our daughter attends Banana Moon Nursery 2 days a week and absolutely loves it. She has made so many friends at the nursery and we love how she has developed as a child since she started going there. The staff are brilliant and, along with the app, always keep us informed of what she has been up to
and how she is getting on. I would definitely recommend Banana Moon Nursery to anyone.

Lovely nursery setting and staff, cannot fault. My little girl sees the nursery as a home from home and adores all the staff, she is loved, nurtured and educated on a daily basis. The nursery was flexible and accommodating over covid to make sure the key workers could still ensure their children had
a placement.

My 2 girls go to Banana Moon and have done since both were 9 months old, they both love their time there. The girls there are all amazing and my girl always speak about them and have made close friend within the nursery. I can’t thank the manager and all the girls for looking after and helping shape

Lovely nursery very friendly staff and look after my grandson so well he just loves coming to nursery learns so much and has come on so much with his speech.
Great activities like art they do very creative work so glad when I receive a wee picture or gift
Very tasty food as always eats them and
great choice.
Nice outside play area good to see the kids outside. The nursery is very well run great communication and hard-working staff are always great with the children my grandson loves his nursery and has been able to see his friends and the staff and comes home happy.

The facilities and staff are wonderful. I had complete peace of mind from day one. The daily updates on the app are brilliant, and I love the variety of healthy meals my daughter receives every day. She goes in and comes out smiling every day, which is wonderful to see.

Excellent staff, excellent facilities just a great experience all round. Both my daughters have loved every second of being there. The manager does a great job managing the nursery and should be commended for their efforts. Even through the tough times of covid, the staff did everything they could to
keep the kids in the nursery and have the routine that kids crave and deserve!

I sent both my children to Banana Moon before they started nursery. Nothing was a hassle, they always tried to accommodate our requests. My child looked forward to going to Banana Moon every day. The meals and snacks provided were great and varied, my child loved them and often asked for more. I saw
a huge improvement in my child's learning, development and interaction with others.

Our daughter has been attending Banana Moon Dyce for around 10 months now. We absolutely love the nursery and couldn't recommend it enough!
She loves going to the nursery to play with her friends and teachers. The fresh cooked meals and snacks are always nutritional and full of variety.
The parent
app is fantastic, we love being kept up to date with how her day is going, nappy changes, how she has been eating throughout the day etc.
The teachers are brilliant and couldn't be friendlier and more informative.

Will opened his first Banana Moon at Dyce with a passion to create outstanding quality nurseries serving as a community resources and support network for people in and around Aberdeen and the shire. Will and his family are dedicated to raising the bar in early years provision and strive to support the staff teams, families and most importantly - the children. Hi, my name is Amanda,


I have been working in Early Years since I left school, and it is a vocation that I am incredibly passionate about and dedicated to. I was the Nursery Manager of Banana Moon Dyce from October 2015 until March 2025, during which time I worked alongside Will to establish a nurturing and supportive environment for children and families. Our goal has always been to reduce stress, provide high-quality care, and create a setting where children can thrive.


As we expanded to include Westhill, Denmore, and Aberdeen International, my role evolved, and I now serve as the Operational Director of Cygnus Enterprises, supporting the nurseries with their operational needs. In this capacity, I focus on guiding and mentoring teams, ensuring that high standards are maintained across all sites. I am proactive in sourcing and engaging teams with training opportunities to upskill our staff, ultimately benefiting the children by ensuring they receive the highest quality care and education.


Continuous professional development is at the heart of everything we do, and I take great pride in supporting our staff as they work towards qualifications, refine policies, and enhance practices within their settings.


It is truly a pleasure and an honour to work with children and families, witnessing the incredible progression and development of every child in our care.

Hi, my name is Michelle, and I work in Baby Moon’s.
