My daughter has been attending Banana Moon, 4 days a week, for 10+ months.


The rooms are large, open plan with different play areas, allowing the children to choose their own activities. The outdoor space is great - it's my daughter's favourite area. My daughter took time to settle, but the staff

were understanding and patient. They were happy for me to call to check up on her. The security system allows authorised persons to access the nursery at any time. My daughter loves going to nursery and shouts as the car pulls off the main road. She talks about the staff and the nursery at home. The daily feedback we receive is useful and my partner likes seeing what our daughter has been doing. The staff are friendly and happy to receive feedback. I can trust them to make the right decision regarding my daughter’s welfare and I know if there are queries they will contact me. My daughter has thrived since attending Banana Moon.


I have recommended Banana Moon to friends and will continue to do so.

My two-year-old daughter goes to Banana Moon and enjoys it very much. Like some children, she was crying when she first went in, in the first few weeks, but the staff were fantastic and told me I can phone any time to see how she was doing. This helped me relax, knowing she was ok. The staff are very

My 2-year-old has attended Banana Moon for over a year now and she absolutely loves it! She has just recently transitioned to a bigger room and this was done seamlessly. The staff in the baby room are fantastic, I always felt like they cared about my daughter as much as I did and she always ran in without
looking back.
My eldest has just left the nursery to start school and I was also very happy with the care she received. She still loves going in when collecting her sister to say hello to the lovely ladies that have helped her grown into an independent young girl.
The staff are always quick to help with any questions we had and everything is very efficient.
The owners are also very present and friendly at the nursery even though they have their own careers. They also have young children which helped put me at ease as I felt they understood what is required from a nursery.
I would definitely recommend Banana Moon Day Nursery.

My 4-year-old has attended Banana Moon Day Nursery for a year and a half and my 10month old has been going for 2 months. I couldn’t be happier with the care they receive at Banana Moon. Both girls absolutely love the nursery staff, whom are clearly passionate about the work they do, including the nursery
manager. It’s lovely to drop my girls off in the happy environment where they feel happy to wave me off out the door. The nursery is clean and the facilities are fantastic.
They have an awareness and openness to continuous improvements. Overall, it’s absolutely fantastic.

Great nursery - my boy is happy and safe there. The staff are lovely and helpful, and do well looking after so many little ones!
Any comments and concerns are taken seriously and dealt with properly.
The girls accommodated my choice to breastfeed really well, as I gave them breastmilk in bottles
to give my son. I have heard that some nurseries are not so accommodating, but Banana Moon were great. This was really important to me.
I would like to see more healthy breakfast options, for example, porridge instead of cereal/toast etc, but my overall view of Banana Moon is very positive.

Always an absolute pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Every member of staff I have come across is pleasant, friendly and caring. Highly professional and responsive management. My daughter comes home calm, happy and having had a lovely time. She looks forward to

My little boy took a while to settle in but the staff were great with him and kept me updated with his progress. They provide a wide variation of meals and plenty of toys/games to play within the babymoon room. Very secure entry system with fingerprint access.

My son is now in his second year of nursery and he absolutely loves it, he has developed so much while being there with things such as speech and walking. The staff are lovely and very welcoming! The manager is great too, very easy to talk to when you're not sure about something! I would definitely

My daughter has been going to Banana Moon since she was 11 months and she will be 4 in December. I struggled to leave her initially as was worried how she would settle but the staff at Banana Moon were amazing and made my daughter and I feel at ease.
She has moved from the baby room to the oldest room
now. Each transition was done with my daughter in mind and she had time to get used to the new room before she moved. She absolutely loves her time there.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Banana Moon to anyone. It really is a fantastic nursery.

My daughter has been going to Banana Moon on a full-time basis since she was 11 months old. Now over 2 years later she is still there having moved up all the age group rooms and the staff have been brilliant with her. They really encourage the children to learn and become independent at the various
stages of development from the weaning stage to potty training to helping others with tasks and how to apologise to their friends when they should. All round, a great Nursery!

The facility is amazing and security impressive. I have met the owner a few times and he has always been very courteous and friendly, showing a genuine interest in the service he is providing and the experience we have had. The nursery has taught our daughter a lot and we will be putting our son in
when he is of age as well.

Was really apprehensive about putting my daughter to nursery as had always used a childminder, but I’m so glad I did. She loves it at Banana Moon and often doesn’t want to leave as she’s having so much fun.
The staff are friendly always got a hello for you or chat away when I’m waiting for my daughter
to decide to leave.
They have made putting her to nursery a great experience for her and myself and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for over a year now, initially just 1 day a week now she’s in 4 days. She always looks forward to going to nursery in a morning and is always very happy when I pick her up in an evening. The girls who are in her room clearly have made a strong bond with my
daughter and I can see they genuinely care about her. They always have great activities planned and I can see how much my daughter benefits from this as her speech and social skills have come on leaps and bounds. The facilities are great, very safe and clean which are of high priority to me. The range of meals and snacks provided are great which means my daughter eats a varied diet. I’m really happy with the time she has spent so far at the nursery and I look forward to seeing her develop further in the coming months.

My daughter joined Banana Moon at 11 and a half months and is now 19 months. She settled really quickly and now screams with excitement as we pull into the car park! The staff are all very attentive and caring. The nursery is a very happy place and my daughter adores all the singing, reading, messy
play and outdoor time which they are offered.


The hygiene standards are really high and the staff always make good decisions when she is unwell or naughty. All the staff have been great at supporting our weaning method (strict BLW) and the food is really delicious, varied and healthy! The staff have also been fantastic about matching our routine which is really helpful. My daughter sings us endless songs which I have to ask staff to teach me so I can keep up! She is so happy and her speech and other development are coming on at a rate of knots. Even the security at this nursery is second to none and I feel so lucky to leave my daughter in their care. I really can't rate this nursery highly enough.

I find this a fabulous nursery. My daughter has attended since she was 6 months and thoroughly enjoys it. There is a great range of activities for her which aids her development and provides a fun environment. The food is always of a high standard and offers a balanced diet.
The staff are really great
and go above and beyond on a daily basis to ensure the kids get the care and attention they need.
I would highly recommend this nursery!

My son started at Banana Moon Day Nursery Aberdeen Dyce in April this year and I couldn't be happier in the nursery and the care that is provided. Although he was quite upset at drop off to begin with, I am so happy that he now goes in with no tears. I have noticed a dramatic change in his development
and am so happy to see him making lots of friends. The staff are very friendly and helpful and meet all his needs. I am happy to come and find out about his day and get actual feedback which is was one of the reasons he was removed from another nursery. The nursery is a fantastic facility with such a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door I highly recommend to anyone.

My daughter has settled in so well in such a short time. The staff are very caring and my girl has bonded well with them. She looks forward to going there each time and has a great time every day she's there. The manager is amazing and made us feel most welcome when my girl started. The environment
at Banana Moon is very welcoming, clean and bright. The children have lots of toys to play with and they have an engaging garden for the kids to enjoy fresh air and free play. I feel reassured my child is in safe hands at Banana Moon. I would highly recommend this nursery and will continue to keep my little girl here until she starts school!

Will opened his first Banana Moon at Dyce with a passion to create outstanding quality nurseries serving as a community resources and support network for people in and around Aberdeen and the shire. Will and his family are dedicated to raising the bar in early years provision and strive to support the staff teams, families and most importantly - the children. Will and his Wife Cindy are very supportive in helping the nursery meet the ideal of raising the attainment level and making Scotland the best place to raise children.

Hi, my name is Amanda,


I have been working in Early Years since I left school, and it is a vocation that I am incredibly passionate about and dedicated to. I was the Nursery Manager of Banana Moon Dyce from October 2015 until March 2025, during which time I worked alongside Will to establish a nurturing and supportive environment for children and families. Our goal has always been to reduce stress, provide high-quality care, and create a setting where children can thrive.


As we expanded to include Westhill, Denmore, and Aberdeen International, my role evolved, and I now serve as the Operational Director of Cygnus Enterprises, supporting the nurseries with their operational needs. In this capacity, I focus on guiding and mentoring teams, ensuring that high standards are maintained across all sites. I am proactive in sourcing and engaging teams with training opportunities to upskill our staff, ultimately benefiting the children by ensuring they receive the highest quality care and education.


Continuous professional development is at the heart of everything we do, and I take great pride in supporting our staff as they work towards qualifications, refine policies, and enhance practices within their settings.


It is truly a pleasure and an honour to work with children and families, witnessing the incredible progression and development of every child in our care.
