Partou Acorns in Adel Day Nursery & Pre-school provides high-quality care for children from birth to five years of age.

The nursery provides children with a safe and supportive environment where they can learn, play and grow in a nursery that’s full of fun!

Children at the nursery enjoy bright, carefully planned play rooms that allow them to learn at their own pace and a fun outdoor area with a mud kitchen and slide.

Healthy meals and snacks are served from the nursery’s delicious seasonal menu and are prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

The Acorns in Adel team are highly qualified and experienced, providing children with exciting learning activities covering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The friendly team has safeguarding training, paediatric first aid certificates and childcare qualifications, the majority to Level 3 or above.

All staff have undergone enhanced DBS checks and the nursery's CCTV and secure door entry systems offers added security.

Fees include nappies, wipes, sun cream, milk, meals and snacks.

Our son has been coming for 4 months and he absolutely loves nursery. The staff care for him so well. We literally don't think about him until we pick him up. He is so well looked after. He is learning all the time and making friends. We are so happy with the nursery.

We chose this nursery as it was the closest to home and we were very pleased to see that our son loves it.
His key worker is very attentive and encouraging and the staff make lots of effort to adapt activities and toys to the interest of the children, including laminated pictures with the words in
French for my son who we are raising bilingual, a lovely personal touch.

Our two children attended Acorns, between July 2010 and July 2017. The standard of care and attention to the children is very high. The setting is quite small and therefore feels personal. We felt that the staff really got to know our children and our children both very much enjoyed their days at Acorns
as a consequence. The management team leads the staff very well and there exists an open line of communication for parents - there are regular open evenings/afternoons and newsletters, and the end of day feedback is detailed.

The care of our child at this nursery has been excellent, they are always enthusiastic about introducing new things and develop his existing skills.
Having taken our child to a few different nurseries and been disappointed, we are very happy with Acorns-in-Adel and would recommend it to anyone.

Brilliant nursery made so by the attentive and caring staff. Both of my children have been extremely happy during their times here. The nursery has a very homely feel, the new menu is fantastic. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Very happy with the care from the staff here. Beginning to introduce wider out of nursery opportunities for the children which is fantastic. Fantastic management team who genuinely put the children and their interests first.

This is a lovely, friendly and homely nursery.
The staff are all lovely and genuinely care about all of the children.
They work well as a team, led by a strong management and provide a lovely experience and environment for the children.
The kids eat well as they enjoy the healthy, balanced and
home cooked meals and their appetite for learning is also well cared for with an interesting and varied programme of activities, both inside and out in the play areas.

The staff at Acorns have a fabulous relationship with the children. My little boy struggled to settle initially and the staff have gone over and above to assist with his transition. Communication is excellent and the staff have willingly spoken to me on a regular basis to inform me of his progress.
My little boy now comes home enthusiastic about his day and eager to tell us all about the wonderful things he has been up to. Acorns are a brilliant nursery and that is down to the hard work, dedication and relationships of the staff with both parents and children.

Acorns has seen a number of changes over the past year but I am pleased to say the current team are excellent and have built a welcoming and stimulating environment for our daughter. She loves the healthy, homemade food made in the kitchen and has great fun in the newly built woodland area. The staff
are nurturing and genuinely care for the children. Very pleased with the nursery and would recommend to others.

My daughter has been at Acorns-in-Adel for a few months now having moved her from another nursery. All the staff at Acorns have made what could have been a difficult time, a seamless transition. All the staff are very friendly and caring, create a warm and safe environment for the children and know
the children very well which supports their development. My daughter has come on so much since starting and loves going to nursery. There is freshly prepared food for the children every day and a nice outdoor space for them to play. The inside space is also very nice. I feel communication is really good between staff and management to parents which is so important.
