WMB Cornerstone Day Nursery is situated at the heart of the Harpurhey community and caters for children between the ages of two and four-years-old.

The PCS building was refurbished in 2014 to provide a stimulating learning environment for the young children that attend.

At Precious Cornerstone, staff work closely with the children to enhance their learning and development and adopt an open door policy, encouraging parents to share their comments and ask for advice, help and support when needed.

The nursery also provides before and after-school club, holiday club, emergency day care and Spanish lessons.

I have had a great experience with WMB Cornerstone. The staff are really friendly and caring and, as a mum, it feels really reassuring knowing your child is in caring and friendly hands. My son is really comfortable going to Cornerstone.

I highly appreciate how well the after-school club looks after my child. The staff is attentive, and caring, and creates a safe environment that allows me to have peace of mind while my child is in their care.
The after-school club excels in ensuring a safe pick-up process from school. Their organised
and reliable system gives me confidence. Moreover, the engaging activities they provide for the kids demonstrate a thoughtful approach, keeping both fun and development in mind.


I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to other parents. The caring staff, safe environment, and enriching activities create a nurturing space for children to grow and learn. It's been a positive experience for my child, and I believe other families would benefit as well.

All my children went to WMB nurseries and since starting school, attend this after-school club. It’s been great for the kids as they have had familiar faces in after school club so the transition has been effective. The club picks up my children from school safely and keeps in contact, if any problems.
I know my children are safe with the staff here.

Folake is our Director of Operations and is known for her happy personality as you will not miss a smile from her. She oversees Carisbrook Day Nursery. Folake is passionate about reaching out to people and supporting them to achieve greatness.


She has an excellent understanding of child development and is passionate about quality service which has not gone unnoticed by OFSTED awarding the nursery she manages ‘OUTSTANDING’. A quote from the OFSTED report referred to her as ‘the inspirational manager exhibits high leadership qualities’… and went further to affirm her provision as a ‘first-rate nursery’ with an ‘evidential and very strong sense of community’. Her relentless pursuit of excellence has sustained quality childcare improvements of the highest quality. (OFSTED report)


Folake is no stranger to hard work. At the advent of the business operations, the 3 sites acquired by the company was supported by her through the OFSTED inspections that followed within the space of 5 months and all came out with enviable outcome in all their first inspection. She has worked really hard to see the company become a household name in Manchester and Greater Manchester.
Folake is approachable and believes that great partnership between the company & clients fosters love and promotes trust between parents and staff.
