We were welcomed in from our first visit and have found the staff to be caring, nurturing and knowledgeable. They work hard to meet the children's needs in an engaging and fun learning environment, both indoors and out. Our son has learnt so much and comes out with a smile on his face every day. We
wouldn't ask for a better nursery for our son to begin his education.

During the 3 1/2 years my son spent at this nursey, his growth and development was in large part to their amazing team. Every day he left with a smile on his face and made some great friends with other children there.
The facilities and site, in general, were what initially sold the nursery to me,
but over time, it was clear the staff have a real love of their jobs. Knowing my son was left in their care was extremely reassuring. Compared to other nurseries in the area, we found that the day cost was lower, but somehow they seemed to offer so much more.
Handovers at the end of the day were often in depth and provided an idea of how my son spent the day and what meals he'd had.
Communication and plans surrounding their safeguarding steps when the Covid-19 situation started were clear and did not impact my sons enjoyment or compromise his safety.
In short, I cannot recommend this nursey highly enough, and I am extremely grateful to the brilliant staff they have for taking such good care of my son. Thank you.

The staff at Snapdragons are very friendly and ensure that we are kept up to date with activities and events our son is involved with. The activities and nursery are very interactive and our son looks forward to going. The staff are helpful and go above and beyond our expectations. We are extremely

The guys at Snapdragons have been amazing - my son can get quite upset at drop-offs and after 3 months of being home, we were worried about how he would cope returning. All the staff are incredible and patient with him and do everything they can to help make the transition a happy experience for him.
He loves his time at pre-school, they are always busy and I think he eats them out of house and home! They make me feel really comfortable about leaving my son there all day and I know if ever he feels sad, there are a few members of staff he would be happy to go to for comforting. That's all you can ask, is that he feels safe.

Friday 31st July marked the last day of my children attending Snapdragons Shirehampton. Over the last 4 years that my 2 sons have been coming here, we have been so extremely happy with how every member of staff cared for our children. We cannot rate this nursery highly enough. Even with the challenging
times, we are currently facing, they have still provided phenomenal care and the communication out to us parents was second to none. I felt confident when my son returned once the lockdown eased, that the policies and procedures in place would help to keep my son and me safe whilst on site.
I would recommend anyone send their children to this nursery.

Snapdragons Nursery Shirehampton is such a lovely nursery with great facilities and amazing staff. My son has flourished at this nursery and we will be very sad to say goodbye when he starts school this year! Keep up the amazing work that you do, the children are very lucky to have you all.

Both my children attend Snapdragons and we’ve been involved since the eldest was 12 months (3 years ago). We absolutely love it and the staff who work there. You can see the genuine love and care they have for the children. My kids have always settled well and formed great bonds with key workers, they’ve
always eaten well and enjoyed outdoor play which happens in any weather. Last year my eldest did forest school which she thoroughly enjoyed and the nursery has regularly gone out to the local parks for play/picnics. This is a large nursery and the space is plentiful compared to other nurseries, which has become helpful in the current pandemic. We like the fact the nursery doesn't have screen time and gets the children immersed in activities that get them talking and more confident socially. I guess I’d like to know more specific info regarding my child’s participation/learning (especially preschool) as asking your child what they did is often greeted with ‘I played’. But we can’t recommend it enough.

The best thing about Snapdragons Nursery Shirehampton is the staff. From your very first visit, they know you and your child by name. Every phone call or conversation with reception or management is personal and they show genuine love and affection for the child at all levels of engagement.
The carers
give incredible care and support to the children, to the point where I think our son's next words are going to be his carers names! Even during lockdown if we'd see carers outside of the nursery they'd stop to say hello from a distance, and was always pleased to see us out and about.
Our son has developed and grown so much since attending Shirehampton. He wasn't rolling, within one week at nursery, he was rolling, similarly withholding his bottle and walking. The nursery has been instrumental in supporting our son's development. Thank you.

Our little boy joined Snapdragons Shirehampton when he was just nine months old. I was so worried about putting him in however I do not have one bad word to say. All of the nursery practitioners are so professional, lovely and adore all of the children. My little boy comes home so happy, the nursery
is a lovely place and I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about putting their children in here.

My daughter has been attending Snapdragons for over a year, and absolutely loves it. She comes home full of stories of her day and usually filthy from having fun in the garden, the experience of Forest School has made for her love of nature and all things outdoor and she always asks to make a campfire
and bake bread in it.
She adores the staff, who have been very patient with her (settling took a while) and talks about them all the time.
During the uncertainty of the pandemic, the staff were extra caring and nurturing towards her, and she has grown in confidence due to having lots of extra input. She now eats much better, has better coordination and is a very happy, well-rounded girl.
Staff have worked well with me in any concerns I have had and tried to help in any ways they can.
I would recommend Snapdragons Nursery Shirehampton very highly.

My child loves going to nursery here! She only does one day a week, but she’s always felt very at ease with the friendly, caring staff.
The food they serve is nutritious and varied, and it must be tasty as she’s been known to eat a second helping on occasion! The building and grounds are also lovely
and always well kept.
In addition, my child has continued to attend nursery during COVID-19 and their communication has been great the whole time, they’ve been really helpful towards our own personal situation, and everything they’ve implemented has been well thought out!

Our son is really settled at Snapdragons and always has a fun, activity-filled and happy day with his friends and the staff. Communication has always been excellent, and any member of staff is always more than happy to help with any queries you may have regarding your child's care. The staff have always
been so caring towards my son, and I am always 100% happy that he is well looked after. During the lockdown period, they went above and beyond to send home activities for us to try if we wanted, and posted some great story reading videos for him to enjoy. I would recommend this setting to anyone who asked!

Both my children have attended Snapdragons Shirehampton since they were babies, with the eldest now four and getting ready to leave. The nursery and its staff are exceptional and have always taken good care of both my children. I feel confident that they are well looked after and safe at all time, and
the children always have a lot of fun. The staff take time to get to know the children from the start and create strong bonds, which are lovely to see. They have also dealt with the Covid-19 situation extremely well during such a difficult time, and in a very short time scale. I cannot fault the hard work and dedication they have shown. I would highly recommend the nursery to all parents/friends/relatives.

I do not have a single piece of bad feedback for Snapdragons. The standard of care is extremely high. The staff are always so friendly, very calm and caring. They remember all the little details about my child even about her siblings. The environment is spotless, the food varied and nutritious. My baby
has been coming to Snapdragons since she was 8 months old and she loves her time here. Thoroughly and highly recommend Snapdragons Shirehampton.

My son moved up to pre-school in September 2019 at Snapdragons Shirehampton. The staff are all really lovely and my son loves coming in. They helped him to settle into preschool really well and he really enjoys his time there. We had a couple of small issues at the beginning with some confusion about
toilet training and photo's and observations being put on the parent zone app not enough but spoke to the staff and they have improved. I sometimes think the handover at the end of the day could be a bit better but overall they are all really good.

Thank you for your review. It's really useful to have feedback so that we can make improvements. We're so glad that the teething problems regarding your parent zone have been solved. We are very busy all day long with activities so I think we will work on our handovers to make sure that this is explained in full. We've recently terminated the cleaners' contract because we were very unhappy with the service so we're very confident that everything will be back up to our usual standard.

I have had two of my children go to Snapdragons and they have both had amazing experiences. They have grown, made friends and developed a love of nursery days.
It has prepared them for school. I can't praise Snapdragons enough and I know my children feel that way too.

Snapdragons was definitely the right choice from my granddaughter. The nursery caters for all of her needs. They are attentive, caring and very understanding. I always feel happy and confident when leaving her in their care. She always comes away exhausted but very happy after a full afternoon of fun
and learning. I would without a doubt recommend this nursery to friends and family.

We are extremely happy with Snapdragons Nursery Shirehampton. From the beginning, we were impressed with the welcoming, friendly staff. The facilities are amazing and we love how much our son gets to use their garden. The staff are very caring and nurturing, always have time to talk to us. Really efficient
in answering emails when we've had any queries.
Our son loves going to nursery, he even asks most mornings if he is going to the nursery that day. There is always a huge variety of activities for him and we have seen his confidence grow since he has been there. We feel very lucky with this nursery.

From the moment I was shown around, I knew I wanted my son to come to this nursery. It's so nice, bright, airy and colourful. Each room is beautifully designed and the toys and activities on offer are amazing and seem endless!
The staff are engaging, chatty, informative and have been happy to accommodate
our requests/needs (using washable nappies and caring for my son's eczema). I have no problem leaving my son there, he loves it so much, he barely notices me leave. He has learnt so much and enjoys every minute. I'd love to stay myself if I could!
