Being rated 'Good' by OFSTED in July 2023, Banana Moon Day Nursery Croydon creates a loving and caring environment for children, where parents' views are always considered and valued.

The children receive age-appropriate care from the passionate, experienced staff. Children's learning, development and progress are shared individually with parents via a secure App and in regular parent meetings.

The nursery employs a qualified full-time chef to provide nutritionally-balanced meals each day. Croydon Local Authority awarded the nursery FIVE STAR in November 2024 for Hygiene and Food Safety.

Nursery facilities include air-conditioned rooms, fresh air ventilation, a separate sensory room, a monitored sleep room and a large secure outdoor play area.

My son has attended Banana Moon and has since graduated preschool this month. The staff have always been child-centred and supportive. I would and have recommended this nursery to other parents. My son has enjoyed his time, made lots of friends and feels comfortable with the staff. Staff have worked
closely with me to prepare my son for primary school.

The staff are very supportive and friendly. They always give you that reassurance that your child is safe. I love the fact the food is homemade and children are shown a lot of care and love. My daughter's vocabulary is at a higher level than her peers of the same age that go to other nurseries. The
staff are always smiling which is a bonus and the diversity is amazing. Thank you for the support, very grateful for the work you do.

The worst experience ever. I took my daughter to this nursery and she was bullied and treated differently from the other kids. I saw one of the staff pulling my two-year-old by her arm that she was unable to walk. Staff barely move and made bad faces when I delivered my daughter into the classroom.
I arrived several times at the nursery and I saw kids alone and staff chatting. The levels of care shown to our child were poor and not to high standards. I managed to enter the nursery without my fingerprint register, so anyone can access to the kids. My daughter came back sick and her lips are swollen, after picking her up from this badly called nursery. Her clothes and jacket were wet! in wintertime. The attitude of the staff towards us was completely unprofessional, despite we were polite with them all the time.

I can highly recommend Banana Moon! My daughter started when she was one in the baby room (after trying another nursery which wasn't a patch on Banana Moon), went on to the toddler room, and she's now 3.5 in pre-school. My son is one, and he has just started. The staff are so kind, caring and knowledgeable,
each child has a key worker, and you're updated throughout the day via an app with pics and info. The chef is excellent, and the children have fresh food throughout the day. Most importantly - my children are very happy there, have made great friends, and I feel safe that they are in the best hands.

We absolutely love this nursery. All staff right from the baby room to pre-school are kind, welcoming and enthusiastic. My son is currently in the toddler room and he thoroughly enjoys going - he is clearly well looked after. They are all aware of his interests and dislikes and manage activities to
suit them. Management is also great - get back to you with queries within a reasonable amount of time.

I am very happy with the nursery. The staff are excellent and care about the children a lot. My daughter learned a lot during her time in the nursery, and she is ready to go to big school now. She likes the nursery and staff so much that she would even go during weekends, so I cannot be happier to know

My child seemed to have always enjoyed his time at nursery and has never had a bad thing to say; it's clear he had trust in the staff.
I found the staff very helpful and friendly myself and was always pleased with how they treated my child and were particularly mindful about his diet as he has many
allergies. It's excellent that Banana Moon catered for this.

Our son has really enjoyed being in the preschool room. The staff are so lovely, and he has created such nice bonds with them all. We can't fault the nursery in terms of the care they provide.

Very friendly staff who really helped to settle my son and he quickly sted saying lots of new words. The Banana Moon App is very helpful to see how your little one is doing throughout the day so you don't worry too much about his/her day is going. Our son loves the nursery.

Very professional and friendly staff. Many have built a strong relationship with our son. I have experienced great, efficient communication from staff. We have extreme dietary requirements due to allergies with our son and the nursery have maintained excellent food choices. Most importantly our son
is very comfortable and happy. He has come on leaps and bounds since attending and has many friends. I know he will miss nursery when he graduates to primary school in September. Thank you.

Banana Moon is a well-organised daycare. The staff care a lot about the children they are responsible for in the nursery. My son has made a lot of friends and enjoys interacting with the staff. This is a very nice nursery, and I'd recommend Banana Moon to anyone that is looking for childcare.

Completely love Banana Moon Day Nursery Croydon.
The staff noticed my daughter needed glasses early on, and she did. However, my little one would not want us to put her glasses on. With persistence, and great patience Banana Moon staff got her to keep it on longer and longer and eventually, she started
wearing her glasses full time. My little one runs with open arms into Banana Moon, which shows how amazing the staff are,
Communication and updates about my little ones day through the app is so informative, they put so much work into making the parents feel part of the day. Would highly recommend Banana Moon to everyone.
