Waverton Cottage Day Nursery is conveniently located in the Whiston area, catering for children aged 0 to five years old.

The nursery is set on its own grounds in a beautifully restored building, featuring three age-appropriate rooms filled with exciting opportunities to learn and play. The Nestlings room caters for the youngest, providing an environment in which children can explore the world around them.

The Ducklings room provides children aged 25 to 36 months with unique planned activities for each individual child's needs, enabling them to flourish and grow to their full potential.

The pre-school room prepares the children for their next step, giving them access to a wide range of resources to inspire their developing minds.

In addition to the fantastic rooms, daily outdoor play in all weathers ensures children keep fit and healthy.

Both of my daughters have been to this nursery.
My daughter is leaving in August to go to primary school and I’m actually heartbroken!
She absolutely loves Kids Planet Whiston!
All the staff are amazing! They always go above and beyond! I can’t recommend the nursery enough! Fabulous staff who have
become friends over the years.

We are so happy to have chosen this nursery for our little girl. There has never been a day that she’s not been excited to go in - indeed we have felt guilty taking her away on holiday as she loves it so much. Staff are so kind and nurturing and I go about my day at work without any concern for her
safety or happiness.

Care has always been of a high standard, never had any issues, staff are approachable and caring and my son has always been happy in the setting. There is very good management oversight and lots of opportunities to learn new skills

Such an amazing nursery! I have been blown away by the team at the Kids Planet Whiston branch. My little boy is quite sensitive and shy in new situations and he has been made comfortable and bonded well with the girls in the baby room from day one. I always get a fab, detailed handover when he is picked
up too, which I love. I also love the updates we receive on the app which gives us an insight into the nursery. My little boy is now very happy and gets excited when he sees his key worker on his nursery days. I have recommended this nursery to all of my friends and cannot say enough positive things about it. Thank you girls for making it such a pleasant experience for us both so far.

Kids Planet Whiston is an amazing nursery. My son has been attending for 2 years and has loved it from day one. Every single member of staff is so friendly, warm and child focused. I have always felt comfortable leaving my son, knowing that he will be well looked after. The staff really care about the
children as well as being professional and knowledgeable. The nursery itself is always very clean and the outside space is great and is well used. I know my son will always get lots of fresh air when the weather allows. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone.

I never have a negative word to say about the nursery or the staff. They are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond for any parent and all the children even if that child isn’t in their care. They are more than carers each and every one of them. If there is ever a query or an issue, the manager
or the girls go out of their way to make sure it’s resolved and nothing is a problem to them. They are so hard working, attentive and just so lovely. My son has been cared for by the staff since he was 6 months old, and has thrived with his development, learning and confidence thanks to the care and attention they pay to all children as a group or individually. I am forever grateful for finding this nursery for my son and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you all of you.

When we decided our daughter was ready to start nursery, we looked at a number of them in the area. Kids Planet Whiston was by far our favourite. The nursery is always clean and organised well. The staff give 100% to each child. My daughter loves her time in the nursery and often skips in. She has a
very good relationship with her key worker, who updates me and dad thoroughly about new things she is learning. I would recommend Kids Planet to anybody. Don’t hesitate; you won’t be disappointed.

My daughter went to Waverton Cottage for three years and as she finished, my little boy just started last month. My daughter had an amazing three years so there was no hesitation at all when it came to choosing my son's nursery! The staff are all so friendly, approachable and above all caring. I am

Waverton Cottage is outstanding! I honestly only have good things to say. My daughter has blossomed in her development, learning, and self-confidence. The staff genuinely care about the children and parents. This is much more than childcare, it’s a setting where children thrive and learn. My daughter
has been at Waverton Cottage since she was aged 10 months and she is due to leave for school very soon. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hi, my name is Jenny, and I am currently the nursery manager here at Kids Planet Whiston. I first got into childcare when I left school and joined full time college to complete my NNEB diploma in childcare. I have since worked within early years settings with the focus of supporting and helping children flourish and develop within their early years of life. I have learnt so much throughout my journey and have gained professional continuous development. I completed a BA Hons degree within leadership and childcare to help further my knowledge and passion. I continue to be a very hands-on and proactive manager with the dedication to role model and mentor the team around me.
