Busy Bees Prenton is a high-quality early years childcare provider in Prenton, Merseyside. The provision was awarded an 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in May 2016.

The nursery has a natural approach to early years education and development and places much emphasis on the environment and the natural world. Children lead the way and learn through fun and exploration, and there are excellent opportunities to explore within stimulating and exciting outdoor environments.

The unrivalled Pre-school for children aged 3-5 offers a rich, action-packed curriculum which includes daily phonic sessions and exercise classes, run alongside the EYFS curriculum. Every effort is made to inspire the children to initiate their own learning and encourage independence in readiness for school life.

A menu of freshly prepared, natural and tasty food is provided daily.

My child has attended Prenton Busy Bees since 2021 and is now leaving to start school. Staff have been continually engaged and supportive in my child's development and motivated towards her achieving her potential. The organisation and management team are fantastic nothing is too much trouble. All staff
are friendly and the nursery has a lovely atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond for the children.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. All the staff are so lovely, understanding and genuinely care about all the children they look after. It's a real family atmosphere. My little girl is also vegan, and the staff are always mindful of that. She has loved her time here, and we feel lucky to
have picked Busy Bees Prenton as her nursery. Everyone has gone above and beyond for us. We'll all be sad for her to leave.

They have a wonderful team, with a lot of charisma, creativity, care and love, they take care of the details, they are very attentive to each girl and boy, and they also take care of their die,t and I find that wonderful.
Very grateful for all the care for my daughter, grateful for the quality time,

Would 100% recommend this nursery and preschool to anyone looking for childcare in Prenton.
Both my sons have attended here. The staff are brilliant and really supportive.
The building is super secure and really clean, and the facilities are excellent.
The outside space is the only area I would
say where improvement could be required, as it's a little small, but still a really lovely space to play.

A wonderful nursery, with wonderful teachers and all the staff, with a very friendly and fun atmosphere. It is very important for us as foreigners to enter a new environment as soon as possible, and thanks to you, my child learned a new language very quickly and feels more confident now. He enjoyed

We couldn't recommend Busy Bees Prenton enough. Our daughter has thrived so much and developed, not only academically, but socially and emotionally.
Every single member of staff from the baby room to preschool, the office and kitchen staff are so wonderful, attentive and supportive, we will miss them
all so much. A few members of staff that have stood out this year for us. They have gone above and beyond for our daughter, and we can't thank them enough!

The best nursery and preschool!
My daughter has absolutely thrived here, all of the staff go above and beyond for both the children and parents. I'm so grateful for the level of care, support, love and nurturing that everyone shows. Busy Bees Prenton will always hold such a special place for us, and
it's been the perfect foundation for future learning.
The food, safety, outdoor space, activities etc are all incredible.

The nursery, as a whole, has been a fantastic experience, and my daughter has loved each year she has been there. Staff go above and beyond. The facilities are great, and my daughter enjoys the meals also. They do so many fun activities and games with the children. Excellent nursery.

My daughter has been part of Busy Bees Prenton for 4 years, and my son for 2 years. Through each room change, there has been continuity of childcare, support and fun!
Both the children absolutely love coming to the nursery and love all the staff not just their key workers.
There is a real family
atmosphere at Busy Bees Prenton, and I'm saddened that my children are now leaving.

Such friendly staff -have made my son's leap to full time nursery SO EASY - they're always on hand to give a full run down of his daily activities, with a concise report of all that happens - their care is second to none - I wouldn't go anywhere else, Wouldn't change a thing - Leah's taking of the reins

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees Prenton for 7 months now and I can honestly say the staff and management go above and beyond for my little girl. Nothing is ever too much trouble!
The staff have done an amazing job getting to know my daughter and our family and supporting her to settle in
at nursery. I love seeing all the great activities they do through the app and seeing my daughter always having the best days at nursery! It’s lovely to hear my little girl talking so nicely about the staff and it’s clear to see they have worked hard to form a lovely bond with her.


The manager is fantastic and it's clear that she has a strong passion for taking care of the children and supporting them in their learning. It’s so reassuring to know that my daughter is safe and happy at Busy Bees Prenton!

Hi, I am Leah, I am the Centre Director at Wirral, Prenton.


I have worked in childcare for 10 years and hold a Level 3 in childcare and education, I also am a qualified playworker, and teaching assistant and have my Level 2. 


I have always had a passion for working with babies and young children, being able to be a part of their development journey and watch how they learn, and grow is heart-warming.
