Busy Bees Prenton is a high-quality early years childcare provider in Prenton, Merseyside. The provision was awarded an 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in May 2016.

The nursery has a natural approach to early years education and development and places much emphasis on the environment and the natural world. Children lead the way and learn through fun and exploration, and there are excellent opportunities to explore within stimulating and exciting outdoor environments.

The unrivalled Pre-school for children aged 3-5 offers a rich, action-packed curriculum which includes daily phonic sessions and exercise classes, run alongside the EYFS curriculum. Every effort is made to inspire the children to initiate their own learning and encourage independence in readiness for school life.

The staff at Busy Bees are wonderful. They are kind, caring and supportive to both my child and, at times myself, during tricky drop offs.
The learning spaces always appear clear and well looked after.
I enjoy the updates via the app, which let me know what my son has been up to and how they are
progressing, which is helpful as he gets ready to start reception in September.
The management team have always been helpful when needing to book extra days and will always do their best to support.
I recommend this nursery to anyone I know, my son has been attending since he was 11 months old and has always been in safe hands.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old. She loves going into nursery every day, she adores all staff members and has made lots of friends.
All staff working at the nursery are extremely friendly and helpful.

Outstanding nursery, my grandson has been attending since September 2020. Fantastic management team. Staff are always efficient on dropping off and collecting the children, always updating me on what my grandson has ate during the day and what activities he’s been joining in on. He is a fantastic mixer
and this is down to the staff here, social skills are so important too. The main thing is he loves going and always says how much fun he’s had in the day. They have a secure outside play area too which is ideal for your own peace of mind.

A fantastic nursery that all three of my children attend/have attended. All of my children love coming to nursery and have the best time. Staff are fabulous and really care and know the children. The nursery is well run and the facilities are great for the children. The food menu is fab as well. Keep

Both of our children have settled in well at Busy Bees Prenton and this is due to the fantastic staff - they are very genuine and have a lot of time for each child. They always take the time to update you on their day fully and really get to know them as individuals.
I hated the thought of going back
to work and leaving my children but the team there are lovely. They are also trained in first aid which is very reassuring.
Would definitely recommend.

I viewed a lot of nurseries and this one stood out a mile. Both my children have attended from approx. 1 year old and absolutely love it. The rooms are big, bright, clean, full of activities and happy faces. The outdoor room and garden are a lovely addition. They eat like kings and the staff look after
the children like they are their own. I get updates and pics via their app which is lovely to see. I would highly recommend. The manager and all the team do an incredible job. I am forever grateful for their time, support, flexibility and hard work.

Where do I start. This is an amazing nursery with the most amazing staff. They are all very friendly, professional and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and they really care about the children they look after. All the staff take the time to learn about your child, your home life and you as parents
which makes leaving your child there so much easier. I especially love the updates at pick up time because that's the only way I find out what my son has been up to as his answer is always 'I don't know'. The transition between rooms and key workers is seamless and they include the children in all aspects of this. My son loves this nursery and has told us this week that he is going to miss everyone when he leaves to go to primary school in September. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and the centre director has done an amazing job and I have no doubt she will continue to do so with the help of all the staff. 10/10.

Having been involved in education for a number of years and having two children attend two different nurseries, I can't recommend Busy Bees, Prenton highly enough. The care and attention to detail the staff apply to every situation, goes above and beyond, not only the industry standard, but anything
you would expect from a childcare setting. They know our children inside and out and work with us as a family in a way that works best for us. They take into account our children's individual needs and our busy working lives, whenever we deal with them. Without a doubt they have give our children the best possible start in their school life and helped them develop strong relationships with their teachers and the centre staff that will serve them well as they transition to primary school. If you are choosing a nursery or looking for a change, do not hesitate to send your children here.

All the staff have been brilliant with myself, my partner and my daughter. My daughter loves attending Busy Bees, Prenton. The staff always take time to let me know how my daughter has been each day, what she has eaten and what activities she's taken part in, etc. My partner and I really love the photos
and details the staff post on the app, as it keeps us up to date with everything going on.

The staff at Busy Bees at Prenton have been excellent with my two children. The staff here at Busy Bees at Prenton are great practitioners and my children love coming. The manager is an excellent manager and nothing is too much trouble. Really pleased with Busy Bees at Prenton.

Daisy & Jake Day Nursery Prenton are not just a nursery they are more. Part of our family for the last ten years and will continue to be that way. The staff have every child's best interest at heart, meeting not only my expectations but excelling them and Ofsted too.

This nursery is fantastic. My daughter learns a huge variety here, things I wouldn't even think of for her age. She has attended since 10 months old and has grown and developed so much with thanks to the planning, care and support of the staff. They offer a wide variety of meals and snacks and have
helped broaden my daughter's taste buds and given me meal ideas. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

I have used Daisy & Jake Day Nursery Prenton for all three of my children. My most recent joining in January 2018. I was happy and confident returning to work knowing that my son would receive the best care possible. The staff are friendly and welcoming, I can approach them about any concerns I have
about my son's care. All three of my children have thrived in their nursery and have developed into caring, confident and intelligent boys. I am grateful to Daisy & Jake for the part they played in their development.

I have to say that all the staff at this nursery are amazing. My child attends and absolutely loves coming into the nursery. Staff are friendly and make you feel extremely welcome. I noticed a change in my child after attending the setting after 2 weeks. Her speech and skill have come on leaps and bounds.

My experience of Daisy & Jake has been excellent from start in the baby room to currently attending pre-school where I believe my son is gaining all the skills to be school ready. The activities and learning opportunities are exceptional and fill me with confidence that my son will find the transition
from pre-school to school a straightforward step. His knowledge and understanding are amazing and I know this has been gained from attending an "outstanding" nursery.

We have been part of the Daisy & Jake family for 8 years, with all 3 of our children attending from 4 months, all the way to leaving to go to full-time mainstream school. The staff have a fantastic bond with all our children even though 2 have left. It was Daisy & Jake who first spotted the first signs
of my son's learning difficulties at 2 years old. They provided extra support and brought in other education experts to put together an individual learning plan, which was passed along when he started primary school. You are updated constantly about your child's developments and have the option to be involved in parent activity, plays, sing-a-longs. Even doing children's first aid courses and extra languages. We will be forever grateful to all the staff.

Hi, I am Leah, I am the Centre Director at Wirral, Prenton.

I have worked in childcare for 10 years and hold a Level 3 in childcare and education, I also am a qualified playworker, and teaching assistant and have my Level 2. 

I have always had a passion for working with babies and young children, being able to be a part of their development journey and watch how they learn, and grow is heart-warming.
