Banana Moon Day Nursery, Ashmore, provides a safe and caring environment for children aged from three months to five-years-old and is open 7.30-6.30pm 51 weeks of the year.

Banana Moon is able to offer sessions from a half day 7.30-1pm or 1-6.30pm to five days a week 7.30-6.30pm.

CCTV is installed in all rooms and operates a biometric fingerprint entry system, ensuring the safety of the children and staff.

Banana Moon offers two outdoor secure areas, one for children under two and another for those over two, ensuring all children have plenty of outside space to run around and have fun.

A range of age-appropriate rooms provide the ideal environment for inquisitive young minds, helping them to learn through exploration and discovery. Every child has the opportunity to develop their skills and at a pace that is suitable to them.

The nursery offers an in-house kitchen where nutritionally-balanced meals and snacks are freshly prepared each day. Special dietary requirements and allergies are catered for where possible.

My twins started at Banana Moon not long after it opened. They were 2. They are now 4 and LOVE their nursery! They have improved so much with their drawing and writing, as well as speaking and listening. One of my girls wasn't always as confident as she is now and I credit a LOT of her confidence to
Banana Moon.


I also have a little boy in the baby moons room. He has attended since he was 7 months and is now 18 months old. He is a confident little boy and loves nursery. His is keyworker and is absolutely amazing! I really believe she cares for my son and I've often seen my little boy run to give her cuddles.


Staff are brilliant, food must be fab because my kids usually clear their plates and facilities are clean and designed for the children's needs within the room. Can not recommend enough!

I can't put into words how much my daughter has improved since starting at Banana Moon. Her speech has improved dramatically, she's toilet trained, she's more willing to socialise with others, more confident as a person, as well as a happy and bubbly little girl. My little girl was always excited to
tell us about her day at nursery. It was lovely to hear her friends shouting her as she arrived and saying goodbye as she left, she has made some lovely friendships whilst at Banana Moon, with other children as well as staff. The staff at Banana Moon have been amazing and are an amazing group of ladies, very friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Banana Moon, for giving my daughter the help and encouragement she needed, as we had a terrible experience elsewhere. Overall, we have had an amazing experience at Banana Moon Day Nursery, Ashmore Park.

My daughter absolutely loved going to Banana Moon Ashmore, she settled extremely well in each room thanks to their great transition activities and wonderful staff. The setting was a winner for us in comparison to other nurseries we looked at; friendly, welcoming, clean, new and stimulating. The staff
often went above and beyond in their care and I always felt like my daughter was extremely well looked after. We were always welcomed with friendly faces and felt like the management very much had an “open door” approach where we could speak to them about anything at all. The detailed feedback that is delivered to parents daily is a prime example of this. We were really sad to leave the nursery due to my daughter starting school but the skills and relationships she developed will stay with her always.

My daughter has just graduated from Banana Moon Nursery, she was at the nursery for 2 years just when Banana Moon nursery opened and one of the first children to attend. Good education, learning activities, outside play area. Our child was so happy at the nursery, it was practically her second home.
She loved all her teachers so we know she was well taken care of. Her development from 2-4 years has been brilliant. Getting a daily report from the staff of our child's day was so great and put us parents at ease with her wellbeing.
I can't believe how much she has picked up and learnt over the years. She is very well mannered, sharing and caring with others. She has now become a very confident well-spoken child and it is all thanks to Banana Moon staff. I have absolutely no regrets about sending my child here. I am actually grateful that they opened at the right time we were looking for a nursery. We have seen the nursery expand and it's amazing. We most definitely have been recommending the nursery to our friends and family.

My daughter has attended Banana Moon since it first opened until July 2018 when she left because we moved area. The nursery is extremely accommodating and approachable in its set up. My daughter's development has been credited to the staff at Banana Moon. All the staff work very hard as the hours are
long and they are there from the start of the day and most are there until it finishes which is at 6.30pm. The owners are always looking at ways to improve the nursery and welcome feedback. The nursery manager is an extremely endearing and knowledgeable lady and always has time to speak with you. The nursery looks good and is kept very well and my daughter has enjoyed her time there and is still visiting even though we have left the nursery.

My daughter learned so much being at Banana Moon. She really enjoyed her time there and all staff were very friendly and informative. The highlight for me was the Christmas performance you could see the hard work put it by the staff and children blew us away. I loved hearing all the creative things

My son has just left this nursery to start reception and was very sad to go. The staff at Banana Moon Day Nursery Ashmore are fantastic. Very friendly, approachable and look after each child in a unique way. Since starting there my son can now add and subtract, write his name beautifully and tries
more foods. They understood he needed help with balancing and movement and introduced yoga and Zumba to help him along (which he loved). They have so many wonderful toys and activities for children to play with and a great outdoor space with new things added throughout the year. They bake lots of healthy snacks and take trips to local post offices and greengrocers to let them explore. I will definitely be sending my next son here when he is old enough.

My son attends Banana Moon for two full days a week. The Nursery is excellent!
My son really enjoys nursery, he is involved in lots of organised activities and he especially enjoys the outside play. The meal plan is excellent, offering a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. The nursery is very good
at keeping parents updated and I feel the communication is excellent. The staff are currently in the process of supporting my son with potty training. I have no worries and feel rest assured that I’m leaving my son in very safe hands. Commend all the staff as they all work so hard to run such a lovely happy Nursery!

The staff at Banana Moon Nursery developed a close bond with us from the onset. It was very daunting for us to send our first child to a nursery but Banana Moon established a family partnership with us and this made all the difference. We were informed and involved with our daughter's learning journey
from the very start and kept updated at all times. It was evident that our daughter developed in many ways both socially and academically. This was from our own observations. During parents evening this again was reiterated in the evidence of our daughter's Learning Journey. Records were both daily and annotated by the members of staff so that we could see and understand what learning was taking place. Banana Moon Nursery will not be forgotten. Both by my wife and I but more importantly my daughter. Her first steps to begin her learning journey.
Foundations were put in place for my daughter to succeed. Thank You Always.

I am so pleased with the amazing care my daughter receives at Banana Moon. Since joining last year she has changed so much. She was a quiet, shy little girl and she had been slow to talk. Now she is a super confident and very chatty little girl who loves nursery very much. All the staff have been fantastic.
I love that they all know who she is despite the fact she only attends for two sessions a week. I always feel I am leaving her with people who really know her and understand her. The nursery itself has great facilities and well planned activities. I would highly recommend Banana Moon Ashmore to other parents.

I moved my two boys to Banana Moon at the beginning of 2017 and they enjoy their nursery very much. Both boys happily run off to play each morning. The staff are friendly and caring and I always receive an immediate phone call if there is an issue. I love the way that time is taken to discuss what the
boys have done that day and nobody minds that it takes me ages to gather their things together and leave for home! My eldest son is now in the preschool and I have noticed how fast he is developing in preparation for school next September. He now enjoys practising his letter sounds and numbers. My youngest son is in the baby moons and due to his time there, loves exploring everything inside and out. With the meals being cooked on site, it is great to know the boys receive a variety of fresh healthy meals. We feel very much part of the Banana Moon family and some suggestions I have made have been used and we have also attended events, including Easter Bonnet Parade and Valentines Day.

The whole team at Banana Moon make me feel immensely reassured that my child is in safe hands.
My child looks forward to going every week and activities are always fun, educational and varied.
Parents evenings allow us to track progress and development.
I receive daily feedback on my child's day,
including food, nappy changes/toilet breaks and a full list of activities undertaken.
This makes going back to work a lot less stressful for a mummy after having a full 9 months of being with your child.
The food is always healthy and balanced.
Since being at nursery my usual fussy eater is more inclined to try more varied foods at home.
Shout out to one of the staff members in particular, who takes a genuine interest in the well being of my daughter, and for also helping encourage good behaviour and interaction with other children.
I will definitely be sending my son there when the time comes to return to work.

My daughter absolutely loves attending Banana Moon, in the morning she gets so excited when I tell her it's nursery day. The staff are excellent being attentive and nurturing. The management is fantastic and very accommodating. We have been really impressed by their focus on learning and development.
The parents evenings are great ways of keeping us informed of our child's development and the fun activities they participate in. My husband and I were so nervous about leaving our daughter at nursery but we needn't have worried we feel safe and reassured when she is there knowing that she is cared for and having lots of fun!

I have my little girl and my boy going to this nursery full time. The food is fantastic, the staff are very friendly and very professional.
