Partou King Street Day Nursery & Pre-school in Bristol city centre, provides exceptional care and education for children up to 5 years old.

The nursery on King Street provides a wide variety of educational experiences including cookery, dance and Forest School classes – led by qualified teachers and childcare practitioners.

The highly-qualified team prepares children for primary school using Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines. King Street Nursery educators put a strong emphasis on learning through play and tailor activities to children's individual interests and needs. Staff have paediatric first aid and safeguarding training and all have undergone enhanced DBS checks.

Children at the nursery enjoy a varied seasonal menu filled with fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables – which can be altered to suit any special dietary requirements.

The converted property has been designed to be a cosy yet stimulating environment, with a Forest Room, soft play areas, the 'children's den' and a lovely terrace. Children often take snacks and books to Queen's Square, where they enjoy stories together under the trees.

The staff are really friendly and always make our son feel welcome and happy. He settled in quickly and is now always very excited to attend! His key worker has been working really hard on his potty training which we have appreciated hugely. We are really happy with the nursery and the care and support
he is receiving.

Staff are all so polite, friendly and are so great with our little girl. It's been great seeing her grow up there. I just wish there was a bit more outside space but local park is a great alternative

I have mixed feelings about this nursery. Our son enjoyed his time there and the staff are nice but the turnover was really high and we were never sure who his keyworker was.
Unfortunately, a lot of the stuff we were told the children do on the tour never actually happened, we very rarely got updates
on our son's progress on the app though when we joined we were assured this would happen weekly. The food was never as advertised and really repetitive and lost count of how many times they were given cake, which is meant to be a treat but it started being a habit. I fed back to the management about our concerns many times but nothing ever changed.
There's no doubt that my son had fun and made lots of friends but the setting was really chaotic and now he is at a new pre-school he is much calmer and has a much more varied day of activities. I really didn't want to leave King Street but unfortunately, as our concerns were never addressed or acted upon so had no choice and have never looked back.

King Street has always been amazing with my daughter and I really can’t thank them enough. They’re so lovely and all the people who work there genuinely care about the children attending the nursery. Really professional and lovely environment for the little ones!

My eldest absolutely loved his nursery and it is the same for my youngest. He is happy to be there, exploring and participating in all the nice activities.
Staff are extremely friendly.

Our little one absolutely loves this nursery - the staff are amazing and the care she gets is second to none. The staff who work there go out of their way to help you and I would definitely recommend they nursery to other Mums and Dads.

Kind and friendly staff, thorough handover given at end of the day, my child seems to enjoy his days there too. Staff could provide more photos of his day via the app as this only occurs once every 4-5 weeks currently, previous nurseries we’ve used have given daily updates of photos and learning logs.

My child has been with King Street Nursery since mid 2020. He has grown into such a confident boy with King Street Nursery. The staff are caring, welcoming and attentive - I cannot praise them enough! You know they are doing something right when your child comes home from nursery and looks forward to
the next day to go back in and says goodnight to his key workers and friends before going to bed! Although the nursery has limited outdoor space, it truly doesn't matter as they go for walks out and about. The nursery is also very transparent in their communication and will respond to queries in a timely manner. It is also nice to be receiving daily updates from the staff about my child's progress. I really like that they ensure that the kids are occupied with activities and have easy access to materials. It is good that they encourage the kids to be independent with daily tasks too. It is a lovely nursery in the city centre and I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing nursery with lovely staff who can’t do enough for the children. They have so many opportunities to join in the children’s learning and their weekly newsletter keeps you up to date with everything that is going on. My daughter absolutely loves it here!

My daughter has been attending the nursery now since March 2020. The staff have been amazing and really nurturing. She loves nursery and her friends and has started to ask.. ‘can I go to nursery tomorrow?’. I really love the fact that the nursery are flexible and adaptable and cater to different family
needs. My daughter has a cows milk allergy and they have been great at catering to her dietary needs. The start and finish times are also ideal for me as somebody who works long days. They also have so many lovely little touches and events which really bring a sense of joy and warmth within the nursery. I love seeing her journey from age 11 months to the present day and am really looking forward to witnessing her future development as she approaches school age.

I cannot praise King Street nursery enough. Our daughter has thrived there. All the staff are wonderful and supportive and really get to know your child. Our daughter has loved attending, made some lovely friends and I’m sad her time at nursery has come to an end - I wish she could go to school there!
Would definitely recommend - fantastic place.

I cannot praise this nursery setting enough. My baby started in March 2021 at 10 months old and being a lockdown baby she was not used to being left with other people or socialising with other children. The nursery staff were absolutely amazing and never made us feel like a burden for calling constantly
throughout the day. Fast forward 4 months and my daughter is thriving at nursery and her confidence has grown. Every person we have encountered at King Street has been supportive, friendly, and approachable.

My baby started here recently and I am really impressed with how well organised the settling in has been and how lovely all the members of staff are. It can't have been an easy task with the covid rules, however despite this, the nursery has worked really hard to ensure they create a welcoming place
for new children and parents in the early days. The rooms are really well thought out and create a lovely place for children to thrive. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Our little daughter attended the nursery full time from July 2020 to March 2021, she was 15 months when started.
The nursery staff have taken excellent care of our daughter, she has felt always loved and she really enjoyed the time there. The nurses are very sweet with the babies and give a lot of
information and useful comments at the end of the day. She changed a few classes as she grew older and the change was smooth and well organized.
They have plenty of activities to entertain the babies, they vary a lot during the week and the online portal where they upload assessments is very useful.
They have an outdoor space in a covered garden that is used a lot and they organise trips to local parks/harbourside etc.
They were always keen to accommodate the baby's needs, especially for nap time.
We had some personal issues and the nursery was able to extend our daughter's stay, which was very much appreciated.
Definitely recommended, it is an excellent nursery in the city centre.

Before our little one was born we looked around a few nurseries but Kings Street Nursery, Bristol City Centre stood out by miles. The staff were very friendly, the rooms are extremely welcoming with lots of activities to occupy the children and the whole building had a lovely feel to it. We are so
glad that we stuck with our first reaction, as our little one has flourished since joining Kings Street Nursery, Bristol City Centre. She has become a very confident and sociable little butterfly. We have daily updates from the staff and it's so nice to hear how much fun she has had throughout the day. As well as the room staff, the SENCO in particular is outstanding and we have been thoroughly impressed by the additional support that our little one has received. We only have positives for this nursery, it has been such a fantastic introduction to education for our little girl.

Both of our children have attended King Street Nursery, Bristol City Centre for several years and we are incredibly happy with the level of care they receive. The staff are absolutely lovely, they genuinely love working with the children and take personal interest in their happiness and development.
We’ve been supported at times when we’ve had challenges as a family, through everything from house moves, welcoming a new baby and potty training drama. I’ve always felt able to call the nursery for support, to make sure we’re all addressing challenges and events in the same, consistent way. The team clearly love their jobs and management has been consistent throughout our children’s time at nursery, which is also helpful for stability. The children enjoy a range of activities, going for walks, playing in the garden, lots of crafts and fun messy play. I know both children have built incredible bonds with their key workers. We’re so grateful and highly recommend King Street Nursery, Bristol City Centre.

I was so scared about leaving my little boy in nursery so I visited a few first and none of them compared to this one. Everyone was smiling and happy, especially the children. What an amazing atmosphere, I still cried when I left him but was safe in the knowledge that I could phone anytime I liked,
which I did. My son always comes home smiling, happy and talks about how much fun he's had. Plus the staff always talk to me about the adventures he's had at the end of his day. My sons taken a shine to every member of staff he's met, thank you King Street Nursery, Bristol City Centre for helping his first steps into school life.
