Sundon Stars Pre-school offers flexible, quality childcare for children between the ages of three and five years. Learning at the Pre-school is encouraged through play and encompasses all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The Pre-school is one open plan room where children can play, develop and progress. This room offers freeflow into a large garden area where children can continue to learn and play.

The staff team are committed, friendly and well-qualified and undergo a rigorous recruitment and selection process, as well as DBS checks. All staff are trained in emergency Paediatric First Aid. All staff regularly attend in-house training as well as training provided from outside agencies to enhance their skills and knowledge in all areas of child education and development as well as all aspects of safeguarding.

Each child is assigned a dedicated key person who will offer continued focused support for their individual key children in their learning. Children's progress is continually monitored, recorded and next steps are established in order for the child to continually develop and achieve in all seven areas of development.

Parents are actively encouraged to become involved in their child's learning journey throughout the Pre-school.

Located in Luton, Bedfordshire, the pre-school was rated 'good' by Ofsted in Feb 2023 and offers 32 Ofsted-registered places.

I believe this to be the BEST nursery in the whole of Luton! The staff are fantastic ib every way! The nursery is very well run, clean with good equipment and fun play learning. The app is a MUST for all nurseries to keep parents informed and updated at all times and also provides a clear communication
portal for anxious parents. The staff here are great, friendly approachable and on the ball at all times i would never send my child anywhere else or any subsequent children that i have.

Our 3-year-old son started with this nursery in September 2023, after having only been cared for by family members.
Our son has struggled with social anxiety, and we were really concerned about how he would transition to full-time care in a setting such as this one, but I am very pleased to say that
the team at Sundown Stars have been instrumental in the growth of our son's social abilities.
The rapport they have built with our son is wonderful to see; he has a great deal of love for each of them, which is high praise in our book.
The setting is clean and tidy, with separated areas for play, reading, quiet time, eating etc. Outdoor facilities are great, with the setting recently investing in new play equipment for the children, which our son loves. The team have arranged for coaches to attend to run exercise/games sessions too.
I honestly cannot rate this setting highly enough or thank the team enough for the great work they do with our son and all of the children they care for.

Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love, dedication and patience to the children, and for keeping personal belongings in order (toys, clothes), helping with potty training, caring when they were not feeling well, making everyday a fun environment to go to, which was also very important.
I
would highly recommend Sundon Stars Nursery to anyone looking for a nursery in the area, and I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for my son.

I love this nursery - all the staff make you feel like you are part of the family. My little boy loves being at nursery, although he needs encouragement to get through the door at first due to his separation anxiety from me but all the staff help to encourage him to enter the room with the least amount
of stress. The nursery has great communication with me at all times. The staff are always so supportive of me and have been so helpful with supporting me with potty training my little boy. I appreciate all the kindness and support I receive from them.
