Sundon Stars Pre-school offers flexible, quality childcare for children between the ages of three and five years. Learning at the Pre-school is encouraged through play and encompasses all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The Pre-school is one open plan room where children can play, develop and progress. This room offers freeflow into a large garden area where children can continue to learn and play.

The staff team are committed, friendly and well-qualified and undergo a rigorous recruitment and selection process, as well as DBS checks. All staff are trained in emergency Paediatric First Aid. All staff regularly attend in-house training as well as training provided from outside agencies to enhance their skills and knowledge in all areas of child education and development as well as all aspects of safeguarding.

Each child is assigned a dedicated key person who will offer continued focused support for their individual key children in their learning. Children's progress is continually monitored, recorded and next steps are established in order for the child to continually develop and achieve in all seven areas of development.

Parents are actively encouraged to become involved in their child's learning journey throughout the Pre-school.

Located in Luton, Bedfordshire, the pre-school was rated 'good' by Ofsted in Feb 2023 and offers 32 Ofsted-registered places.

A fantastic learning facility with a great level of care. The staff are all friendly. I leave my child knowing he will be well looked after. My child enjoys his time at Sundon Stars and looks forward to telling me about his day when I collect him. The facility is well equipt inside and out for my child's
development and needs. There is always a range of activities going on.
We are very happy with Sundon Stars.

My child enjoys going to Sundon Stars and speaks fondly of all the teachers at the nursery.
I have found them to be very accommodating if I need a last minute change of timings.
