Busy Bees Croydon, Haling Park is a friendly nursery setting offering children a place where they can have fun and socialise whilst also learning to be confident and curious.

The team focus on making every day fun whist promoting the development of all children at every age and stage. The wide range of activities and resources as well as the carefully designed environment ensure there is something to engage each child and encourage them to learn at a pace that suits them. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, the team also work hard to prepare children for their next steps.

Children benefit from a large garden outdoors, where they can continue the fun whilst enjoying the fresh air. The nursery also offers additional learning opportunities, from football to cooking classes, there is never a dull day at Busy Bees.

My daughter thoroughly enjoys her days at nursery. She has learnt her phonics, numbers and colours successfully much to my amazement. Her personal and social development is also above expectations. The nursery setting is of a high standard and I have no worries about leaving my daughter in their care.
Five out of five stars.

My son started with Busy Bees Haling Park last August. During this time he has really blossomed. I feel this is down to the amazing staff team that are always on hand to offer support. The nursery is clean and well presented and the team are friendly and welcoming.
The nursery resources are amazing
and my son always tells me about what he has done during the day.

The staff here are always so friendly. I feel very comfortable leaving my son here during the day and feel the staff take great care to ensure my son feels safe, secure and happy.


The nursery manager is always approachable and indeed another friendly face.


This is the 4th child I've put through

nursery and Busy Bees at Haling Park is by far the best I've seen.

My daughter started at this nursery when she was just turned 2yrs. She settled quite quickly and being anxious myself about leaving my little one in the care of others, the team made it easier for me as they seem to take their job seriously and are professional about caring for the children.
The nursery
is very clean, well maintained and feels well run. The team are pleasant and attentive. They provide good handovers. Overall I am very happy with this nursery.

My son has learnt a lot since being at Busy Bees At Haling Park. He struggled initially as he wasn't used to seeing other people and children. After a month there, we struggle to get a kiss as he's happy to run to the door. He comes home singing the nursery rhymes. In terms of the staff, their feedback
is really valued. They adhere to my requests as a parent and give me feedback when necessary.


The manager is friendly and very welcoming. She is happy to assist and support where needed. The meals can be multicultural which would help other children like mine who prefer meals from their culture.

The nursery manager and all the staff at Busy Bees At Haling Park are absolutely amazing.


Leaving my child in their care is literally home from home. My daughter is extremely happy and has learnt so much. The level of care and attention is second to none.

Our daughter started at Busy Bees when she turned six months and is now sixteen months old. This was the first and ONLY nursery that I viewed and fell in love straight away. It's the home from home environment that is so warming. Their teaching curriculum is fun but also meets the needs of each individual
child. Even down to their food menu is individual as out daughter is pescatarian.
Our daughter has progressed so much and it is always a lovely surprise when we get to see all her nursery developments at home. The management team and staff give good advice to embed teaching and learning at home, which is great as this helps to maintain a good routine for her. Our daughter gets excited when we arrive in the morning and sometimes wants to show me all she has done for the day when we arrive to pick her up, which indicates that she is very happy with her surroundings. This was a VERY hard choice for us at six months but was by far the right choice.

In September my child will be moving onto school and I could not have had her in a better setting to prepare her for school. The manager and staff are very welcoming and friendly and address any concerns or worries I may have had in regards to my daughter. We will be sad for her to leave but thank them
for all they have done in regards to her moving on to her next chapter.

I have loved this nursery from the start and so has my son. It has not gone up, even more in my estimation since the new manager took over.
There have been small changes that make a huge difference and now my son tends to run away from me when I collect him, as he wants to stay longer.
Like anywhere,
there have been a few small things I wanted addressing and I felt confident going to the manager about these.

It has been a great experience since my son attended the nursery in October 2016.
It has been a lot better since the current manager took over.
Her passion, time management, commitment and joy is simply amazing and my son has really developed over the last couple of months.

I have seen major improvement since the new manager has taken over. The day to day running of the nursery is more structured and parents are being kept fully informed. My daughter is due to start primary school next September (2018) and I was considering moving her to nursery school as I thought it
would be more of a school environment and she was ready, however, I wasn't swayed as Busy Bees At Haling Park is doing far better. In ways of teaching my daughter and structured day to day activities. My daughter is extremely happy at Busy Bees At Haling Park and looks forward to going. She has grown in confidence and is striving in learning which I believe is above her IQ for her age. Well done management and staff and keep up the good work.

My daughter is now almost two and half and has been in both the baby room and has now settled in the toddler room. She has come on a long way in regards to her confidence and shyness, and this is down to all the staff members being so patient and friendly with her at all times. Always encouraging and
being inclusive even though she didn't always want to join in!


She has been here now for 8 months and is a different child! Very talkative, looks forward to her days at nursery and talks fondly of her peers and all of the staff across the nursery.


She has learnt so much at nursery and enjoys the range of activities that she is able to participate in.

Very clean nursery with excellent facilities for the children. My son never used to like his previous nursery but he loves it here of which I'm very pleased. The staff are very professional and seem to know what they are doing. I could not have found a better nursery for my son. Busy Bees Nursery -

Job Title: Centre Director

Hello, I am Akaysha Ellis the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Croydon Haling Park.


I have been working in childcare for over 16 years and have always had a passion for children. I have a level 3 in children and young people workforce development. I enjoy watching the children grow and develop and investing time into my staff to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge they need to provide children with the best start in life. In my spare time I enjoy travelling and spending quality time with my children.


I am excited for this new journey with the children, parents and staff.
