Set within the beautiful grounds of Tockington Manor School, Tockington Manor Nursery is located in its own building furnished with the very best equipment for early years learning. It provides day care for up to 50 children between the ages of two and four years.

There is an abundance of outdoor space for the Nursery children to enjoy, through free-play and welly walks in the forested areas, and learning through play in the specially designed indoor and outdoor spaces.

Each child has their own key support person who will provide attentive care and support enabling children to flourish through hands-on learning in a stimulating and safe environment.

Nursery children stay with Tockington Manor to become Tockington Manor School students and benefit from a seamless education from two to thirteen years of ages.

Families are welcome to visit the Nursery by appointment.

Both of our boys attended Tockington Manor Nursery and thrived during their time there. The facilities are fantastic, and the staff are incredibly dedicated to the learning and development of each child. We feel extremely grateful that our daughter is part of the Tockington family . All the staff are extremely accommodating and nothing is too much trouble . Our daughter's confidence has developed immensely since starting in February and she looks forward to going in . The activities she does are well
planned and linked to her learning and the meals she has - well I think they are better than what she gets at home ! We can't wait to continue to watch our daughter flourish as she moves through from Woodpeckers to Owls and then onto the school . If you are in a position to be able to send your child here, I wouldn't think twice . Thanks to all the staff who go above and beyond to make each day an enjoyable one .

The nursery at Tockington Manor is absolutely fantastic and our kids are so happy there. The staff are fantastic with children and very friendly and the facilities available to the nursery children is truly unique. From welly walks in the school grounds, sports days in the walled garden, swimming in
the pool it really is an incredible and natural environment for the kids to enjoy and benefit from. We have had children in the nursery for the past 4 years and feel very fortunate to have such a great nursery nearby.

My daughter spent a year in this Nursery before moving up to Reception this past autumn, and she absolutely loved it. My son is now in the Woodpeckers class and he settled quickly, and is excited to go in in the mornings. He speaks of the staff fondly, and I'm so pleased he enjoys it so much! The grounds
of the school are beautiful and it's so nice that they're able to enjoy nature and time outside. The activities are great as well.

The whole staff and team are so supportive and great throughout all stages of child development. The scenery of the nursery is amazing and they make enjoyable outdoor activities for babies. They also communicate well with parents via the app which gives a good update of what is going on with babies
daily.

I cannot fault a single thing about Tockington Manor School. The staff are incredible and bring out the very best in our children. My daughter has excelled beyond all recognition and has blossomed under the gentle, nurturing care she has received at Tockington. The grounds are exceptional and one of
the reasons we chose here. To grow up in the care of such wonderful staff, exploring the beautiful surroundings and being able to make the most of the opportunities that Tockington provides - I really do feel so lucky that we are able to do this for her.

TMS Nursery is a fantastic environment for any child! The staff are caring and knowledgeable, the children are happy and experience so much they wouldn’t be able to in any other setting! They have beautiful grounds to take environmental walks in, a swimming pool to learn swimming in, a music suite and
so much else. They are well-catered for, included in the school by older children, and genuinely get the best start in life that any parent could wish for.

Tockington Manor Nursery is an amazing place. Our daughter is the happiest girl there. The staff is really professional, they have a key person who truly cares about the well-being of your child. They all know all the names of the children, which creates an easier and safer environment. The school grounds
are incredible and offer a huge variety of exploring experiences. They work hard on multiculturalism, which is the main reason why we particularly chose them. The team manager is always available and open to talk to us. We are absolutely sure of the positive impact that the nursery has created in our daughter and we can’t wait for our baby to start going too.

Superb nursery setting, the staff are all fantastic. Settled in incredibly. Loves the variety of activities, engaging and fun learning. The grounds are beautiful seeing the children spend lots of time exploring outside. Very nurturing, and focused on child development.
Genuinely feel development has
accelerated at Tockington, with early learning of language, speech and vocabulary.

My son started at the nursery back in September 2022 and has grown in confidence so much over the academic year. The children have a brilliant variety of activities each day and have a beautiful landscape to explore.
The staff are all so welcoming and friendly, my son is always greeted with a smile.
The preschool group also have swimming lessons and French.
This is a great environment for children starting school and getting familiar with school life.

I would highly recommend Tockington Manor Nursery. My son loves attending and has developed some lovely relationships with several staff members and has made great friends. It's lovely to hear about all the activities that he gets up to each day and see this on the app.

My son has been at this nursery just coming up to a year at Easter, he struggled to settle but with the support and love he received from the staff in Woodpecker 2 and then in Owls he has come to love it. They have supported us with development delays and toilet training and are always there for a chat
if needed.
My son leaves this summer to go to school and I really can’t thank the staff enough for getting him ready for the next big adventure.

My son has been very happy at Tockington Manor Nursery since he started aged 2. It is a wonderful environment for children to learn and play, with beautiful outside space and acres of ground to run around in and explore. The staff are extremely caring and always happy to discuss any concerns. In the
Owls class (3 and 4-year-olds) they are helping them prepare for school with things like weekly swimming lessons and eating lunch in the school dining room. As a parent I couldn't ask for more from the nursery or the staff and my son will leave happy, confident and ready for school!

Tockington Manor Nursery is a very good nursery. Definitely have a lot to offer the children such as cookery, environmental play, learning different languages and swimming. I’ve definitely seen my children progress and develop a lot since joining. They could improve however in communication with the
parents and support for children with SEN but other than that it’s a great place.
