All their staff are Paediatric First Aid trained and highly qualified to provide the highest standard of care for your little one.

I highly rate Little Wellies as they show genuine care and consideration for my children and meet their needs. The setting has excellent facilities and makes use of outdoor and indoor spaces to make each day at nursery fun and educational.

Excellent nursery. The staff are all so wonderful and caring. The management are so accommodating and very flexible with our needs as I work shifts. My child really enjoys going to nursery and has so much fun.

Very warming place throughout the building.
Staff always smiling and they are very understanding, has a lovely home food smell as you walk in. My daughter has become a very kind girl, she has grown just within a short time. With her learning, speaking, and attitude also she has grown in eating, a very
proud mammy and will be taking her little sister when she is.
A joy place highly recommend.

My son came home from this nursery with 2 head injuries which the staff was unaware of and the following day bruising to his side appeared. Staff lied in witness statements which were proven by CCTV and owners tried covering these lies also. Luckily my son is okay after his injuries but it’s a scary
thought to what could have happened. Emails from the nursery contradict what they are stating saying the room leader checked him thoroughly but she may have missed the marks?! He had a cut, scratch round to the back of his head, swelling to his ear and a lump on the opposite side of his forehead so if she had have checked him she couldn’t have missed it!

Thank you for your review. As you say the CCTV has been viewed and does show the room leader opening the door to the outside area at exactly the time of your son falling off his trike and going straight over to him to pick him up, along with another practitioner who was already in the playground and take him inside to be checked over. No injuries were seen by the practitioner at this time or noticed by your husband on collecting your son 20 minutes later. Both left the setting fine. In fact, your son was playing very happily shortly after the fall. Any bruising clearly came out at a later date, which can happen after a fall. We were very pleased that Ofsted looked at all the CCTV and written statements and was happy with our procedures. We are surprised to have received 1* for every area when you have been very happy with your son being with us prior to the fall. Sadly children do have accidents and we are very pleased that he is okay. We wish you all the very best.

Excellent place for my child, every part of the nursery is set up and run brilliantly. The staff interaction with the children and parents is great, they are always seeking to do something different and making the environment as engaging as possible.

My little boy started at Little Wellies Day Nursery in 2019. He had the most incredible experience and is now halfway through his first year at school. We are constantly told how kind and caring he is, something which we put down to the time he spent at nursery. My little girl now attends and she absolutely
loves it. The bond she has with the staff is incredible. They take the time to get to know each child - this is evident when looking at their learning journey. Regular feedback is provided and the staff put on open mornings several times throughout the year which are fantastic. It always feels like a home from home and is such a wonderful environment for any child to be in. I couldn’t recommend Little Wellies anymore- they are just fabulous!

A brilliant home-from-home childcare establishment. The new building offers even more space. Staff are hands-on with organising messy play, playing outside and writing lovely observations. We love all the staff, they work so hard and both of our daughters have felt very happy there.

I think Little Wellies is a truly fantastic nursery. All of the staff always pay attention to detail making sure my little one feels welcome from the moment she steps through the door. They are so thorough with their documentation which helps me know what she has been up to during the day! The staff
are so friendly and happy and my daughter is progressing so well now she's started nursery.

Everyone in the rainbows room is amazing with my daughter. She used to be apprehensive about coming to nursery but since moving to the new building she has loved it. She asks to go to nursery every day and has a wonderful relationship with all the staff. They have been especially helpful in encouraging
potty training with her. Would recommend Little Wellies to anyone.

We have been so impressed by Little Wellies over the last 18 months our daughter loves attending. Our daughter is quite fussy with her food which the staff at Little Wellies have helped and supported us with, by encouraging her to try different foods and creating a reward chart, which has been a great
help. It is a lovely nurturing nursery and we are looking forward to when our youngest daughter joins.

My daughter started at Little Wellies last week, she is three almost four and was very settled in her old nursery (we have recently relocated) and so we were worried about how she was going to be in her new nursery. Well, there was no need to worry at all! After day one she was quickly closing her eyes
at bedtime as she couldn't wait to go back the next day! She absolutely loves her key worker and talks about her all the time. We have been made to feel so welcome, the staff are lovely and tell you all about their day at pick up. Sounds like they have a jam-packed day of fun! Thank you Little Wellies for helping my little girl settle in so well and so quickly after our big move! The staff are brilliant and the office staff are lovely and very helpful too.

Little Wellies is a fantastic nursery! All the staff are friendly and welcoming and my son loves his time there. My son has attended Little Wellies Baildon for over two years and really enjoys it. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and the setting is a home from home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a well run, reasonably priced nursery who put children's needs first.

My son currently only attends one day a week but he has developed so much in a short space of time. He loves his time there, especially the food! Everyone knows what has been happening throughout the day and are all friendly and approachable.

My little boy aged three was a little anxious starting nursery (we’ve recently moved so it’s all changed). The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and have shown real care towards my son.
He’s settled in really well and he enjoys playing with the toys as well as the messy play. He loves the outside
space and likes the trips out to the park.
The management have also been great with me as I’ve had to sort bits and bobs out due to transferring from a different nursery. Nothing has been too small for them to sort out.


Highly recommend the nursery.

A wonderful home from home place for my sons. My eldest who has left has so many fond memories of the place and the lovely staff. I have a four year old son who is currently attending and he loves his days at nursery, as well as all the different activities such as looking after the guinea pigs. As
a mother, it’s so reassuring to know my sons are in a safe, homely and fun place that they both adore. I have also built bonds with the staff, the management and looking forward to my youngest starting at the end of the year. I also appreciate the owners who are always making improvements and investing in making the nursery a better place for the children.

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am the manager of Little Wellies Baildon. I love running this friendly, welcoming and vibrant nursery in the heart of Baildon village. The setting is large enough to be able to offer a wealth of activities, including walks to Baildon Moor and sessions with the Kixx Football Academy, whilst at the same time being small enough for all the staff to know all the children and families well.
