At Kido Clerkenwell, a safe and inspiring environment enables your little ones to thrive!

Kido has an innovative curriculum that is inspired from the best teaching philosophies, like Montessori, Reggio Emilia and the theory of Multiple Intelligences; this is created by an international team of specialists and is in line with the EYFS.

Kido Clerkenwell is located in a repurposed church hall and in walking distance to Old Street, Barbican, Moorgate and Angel tube stations. It features large indoor and outdoor spaces, tall windows and skylights that provide ample natural light during the day. The main garden is very large and separated into different activity areas with a separate garden just for babies.

They offer multiple language instruction, daily nutritious and healthy food and snacks and all the nappies and wipes that your little one will need.

Our son loves Kido Clerkenwell as much as we do. The staff are always friendly, helpful and attentive. We receive regular updates throughout the day via the app on the activities the children have done that day, and it is always lovely to see pictures of our son having fun whilst we are at work, and
see what he has eaten. Monthly milestones are also shared in a report and it shows how much our son has learnt over the months he has been at Kido Clerkenwell.

Our son has been attending for over a year and he really loves to come to Kido. We are very pleased with the staff, curriculums and facilities. It's not only helping our son to grow and learn a lot of new things, it's also reassuring for us to leave him in Kido while we are working. The staff are really
communicative and helpful. They give us daily reports about his activities in person and there is an app that tracks my son's activities and developmental milestones.

My darling daughter loves Kido Clerkenwell nursery. She started full-time last year and I was amazed how quickly and smoothly she settled in.
She has a deep and emotional attachment to her key worker who has been amazing. The environment is also amazing, they really do make an effort to create a nurturing,
encouraging environment where kids can thrive.

This is the fourth nursery that our just-turned-four-year-old has attended due to house moves etc but it is the first one that he seems truly settled. I immediately loved the light, airy space of the pre-schooler room and the outdoor space during our first tour of the nursery but it has been the care
and attention of the staff ever since that has impressed me most. Although happy-go-lucky at home, our son is quite shy but he has really come out of his shell at Kido and actually looks forward to going to nursery every day which is a huge relief as a parent. From the vast array of thoughtful, creative activities that are planned in every day to the enthusiasm and kindness demonstrated by the staff the best testament is that we will soon be sending our 8 month old here too.

We were initially attracted to Kido Clerkenwell because of its airy play rooms, generous outdoor space and its learning curriculum. While all of these matter, the real value has been in the care and kindness of the staff. Our daughter started nursery as a toddler and the amount of time and care the
team put into helping her settle was impressive. The staff really listened to us and worked with us to make our daughter’s transition to nursery a smooth one. For example, the team helped us put together a photo book ahead of starting nursery and provided regular updates via the app so we could talk about nursery more easily at home. Our daughter’s keyworker is outstanding and shows enormous sensitivity and kindness, our daughter adores her. All of the early effort has paid off and our daughter loves going to nursery each day. Ultimately, what really matters in any nursery is that the children are seen and treated warmly while away from home. Kido Clerkenwell has this in spades.

We are very happy with Kido nursery for the past year since he joined. My almost-two-year-old looks forward to going, making me much calmer about leaving him while I work. The staff are all friendly and loving. They track my son's activities and developmental milestones in pictures and videos via the
nursery app. We are so pleased to have found Kido!

We have been extremely pleased with Kido. The facilities are great, particularly the large garden. The amazing staff are very caring and enthusiastic. They create an ever-changing array of educational and fun activities, on interesting and creative themes, including many activities that are far too
messy to do at home! The food is nutritious and sounds tasty. The nursery has responded well to the pandemic. They ask for feedback and look to continually improve. It’s great to see the fun that the children are having via photographs on the app and also get other useful updates. We certainly highly recommend the nursery.

Our daughter has been at Kido Clerkenwell for the last two years and we have seen continual and sustained development in that time. We have been very impressed by the quality and creativity of teaching and learning and the level of care is second to none. The teaching staff are incredibly invested in
each and every child and build very good bonds with children and parents alike. The facilities are very good, particularly for a central London location.

I'm so happy we chose this nursery for our daughter! The staff are wonderful, the facilities and technology are very modern and I love that they have a large separate baby room with its own outdoor space, which keeps the little ones super safe. We looked at a lot of nurseries in the area for our ten
month old daughter and this was by far the best option. The facilities are bright and airy and the amount of outdoor space is really impressive for a central London nursery. The application process was also very straightforward, unlike some other popular nurseries in the area I could mention! Now that my daughter has started at the nursery we use an app for most of our communications, including lots of photos, which is incredibly reassuring and super convenient for day-to-day admin. The staff have been absolutely brilliant and my daughter genuinely loves her key worker. I have so much gratitude for the staff's hard work and so much respect for their relentlessly upbeat attitudes!

Kido Clerkenwell is a great nursery. Our son has been enjoying himself so much there and the all of the members of staff have been fantastic, especially the nursery manager and our son's key worker. They made a huge effort to make sure he settled in really well, supported him through a fussy eating
phase and also helped him take better naps. I noticed his development has accelerated since he's been at Kido Clerkenwell. We chose Kido Clerkenwell because it is an international nursery and we want to make sure our son is exposed to different languages and cultures. It was initially very convenient being so close to my office. Having a busy work schedule, this was practical so I could make sure I was always nearby. However, due to Covid-19 the office has closed, so the location is no longer convenient. This is why we will, unfortunately, be moving our son at the end of the month. Had it not been for that, we would not be moving him. We hope that the next nursery will be just as good.

Our son attended Kido Clerkenwell between April 2019 and March 2021. We have recently made the sad decision to move him out of the nursery as we have moved too far away for the commute to be practical. We were extremely fortunate in that for the majority of his time at Kido Clerkenwell my son had the
same fantastic key worker, as well as two other members of staff who were all superb and obviously really cared for him. My son loved going into nursery and was a nightmare coming home, which speaks wonders. They planned lots of excellent activities which had a great focus on learning. The facilities are excellent, in particular the back garden, which is huge and really hard to find in central London. The meals were all freshly prepared to a high standard. It’s also been great to see a member of staff promoted to the nursery manager role as her enthusiasm for Kido Clerkenwell and the kids is contagious. Our only feedback would be to try to nurture a bit more of a community between the parents.

We have been very happy with Kido Clerkenwell. Our daughter started at seven months and quickly settled in due to the kindness and warmth that all the staff showed her. It made returning to work that much easier. Our daughter has continued to thrive there due to their support and guidance. The activities
are age appropriate and engaging for our daughter. We receive lots of daily information with photos and helpful development points to work on at home with her. Kido Clerkenwell has been fantastic during the pandemic and we felt safe sending her there during the second and third lockdown, so I could do my job as a teacher.

Kido Clerkenwell is a fantastic nursery. My daughter started there at 8-months-old, and now she is 2 years-old - she looks forward to every day there! They have competently handled the various Covid-19 situations and keep parents well informed. The teachers are all kind, friendly, and supportive of
individual children’s needs, and they really bond with the kids. The nursery provides nutritious meals and snacks (I have nothing to directly compare this to as this is the only nursery we’ve used, but it does sound like better quality/choice/variation than some other nurseries!)
Couldn’t be happier with our choice of Kido Clerkenwell!

My daughter went to Kido nursery for over a year since she was 11 months old. The nursery itself "ticks all the boxes" as for being a well-established place for childcare, but what made it exceptional is the modern energetic and open-minded atmosphere and at the same time a place with warm and caring
staff, so essential for the development of little ones. Two of her teachers were brilliant, and our daughter misses them very much. It is a Covid-safe place, which respects all the safety standards. One caveat is that since the pandemic the opening hours are in fact reduced (from 8:20-17:20 for our group). Nonetheless, we are very sorry to have to change nurseries because of our move because we were very satisfied with it.

We decided to send our third son to Safari Kid Clerkenwell because it is so close to us and they were flexible with their daily schedules.
HEADLINE: We're overjoyed with this nursery. From the facility to the staff to the relaxed but professional attitude, it has been an amazing experience for us!
Specifically:
*The
ratio of adults to children is fantastic. Even more amazing is the sense one gets that the staff adore children, that they are doing the work they want to do. The energy is so positive: feels like the children are not just welcomed and looked after but loved.
*The facilities are great. Full of light, activities, everything so well looked after. It was a joy to leave him there knowing he would have a great day. Everything is clean!
*Daily reports. They are really watching everything: how well the kids are eating, what they are learning, their bowel movements, their friendships and you also receive things to work on and sound parenting advice.
I cannot recommend Safari Kid more highly.

Our 2 year old son loves his time at nursery (even if it's still a bit hard for him to say goodbye in the morning he's always in good spirit when we pick him up). The carers are attentive and there's room for children to be themselves which is something that was very important for us. There are always
new activities and he tends to return full of glitter, colours, sand or other remnants from his daily activities which we love. The space is not overwhelming as some nurseries tend to be and the toys allow room for the children's imagination. We also had to request many substitute foods during meals and snacks due to allergies and the nursery was very helpful and accommodating, which we know can be very challenging when dealing with a large group and was extremely helpful.

Very pleased with the nursery and the attention the staff pays to the children.
Very pleased with the activities they do, the curriculum and what the children learn when they are there.
Very happy with the staff and the interaction with them.
It is a very new nursery so everything is very clean

I am very satisfied with this nursery. Our son started going to the Safari Kid Clerkenwell in September 2018 and since the beginning, we knew it was the perfect environment for him. This is the reason why in January our daughter started going to the Safari Kid as well. The staff is very gentle and experienced
and in general, it is a very caring environment. Our experience of the nursery has been great so far. I definitely recommend it to others!

Prakarsh is the Nursery Manager at Kido Clerkenwell nursery. She joined the team in July 2019 at Kido St. Patrick's. She has a degree in Child and Youth Studies. She previously ran the Pre-School room and has a great understanding of the EYFS. She is passionate about working with children, as she has done so for over 10 years.
