Partou Woodlands Park Day Nursery & Forest school provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five. The nursery and pre-school is set in a Victorian mansion with two acres of stunning grounds and a magical woodland garden.

As an official Forest School, Woodlands Park is a place where children enjoy stimulating learning activities in a wonderful natural environment. The children play in the nursery’s adventure gardens every day; building dens, growing vegetables and learning in a fabulous outdoor classroom.

A friendly team of highly qualified staff at the nursery prepare children socially, emotionally and academically for school. These experienced childcare practitioners provide education following Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines in a fun, nurturing environment.

Woodlands Park’s beautiful stone Victorian mansion has been refurbished to provide a homely environment filled with natural light and soft furnishings. Exciting playrooms and resources provide children with an inspirational learning environment that has been designed to feel just like a home from home.

Staff at the nursery have paediatric first aid and safeguarding training and all have undergone enhanced DBS checks. For added safety the nursery has CCTV, secure door entry systems and off-road parking.

30 Hours Free Childcare places are available and fees include nappies, milk, wipes, sun cream and the nursery’s healthy homemade meals, which are freshly prepared onsite each day.

Can't fault the nursery.
Have been consistently brilliant with my little boy from his very first day.
His development has come on leaps and bounds and I don't think he'd be half as clever as he is without the nursery and their support.
My son has built such strong bonds with all the staff, particularly
two members of staff from Toddler 1, who he misses greatly now he's moved into Toddler 2.
The nursery has excellent facilities and such lovely activities for the children to take part in.
I'm regularly kept up to date with my sons day through the Parent Zone app and I am able to see what he's eaten, how he's slept, photos are uploaded of his activities and he always looks so happy.
We couldn't have chosen a better nursery.

My children love attending and it's always a welcoming, happy environment. They have both developed so much since being there and the staff care for them like they're their own. There are a wide variety of food options and they do lots of activities linking to events going on. I particularly like how
they show the stages they're reaching whilst notifying us about them (with photos) on the app. Thank you!

My daughter has been attending for about 6 months now, and absolutely loves it. She has progressed so quickly in such a short space of time.
The staff in Toddler 1 are great with her and really put me at ease when she first started attending. The updates both through the app, and at pick up time are

Since moving into the toddler room at Woodland Park, my child has thrived. His speech is coming along so much too. He loves to go to nursery and see the girls, one member of staff is his favourite. He eats all his food and I am pleased that they are fully aware of his dietary needs. I recommend woodlands
very much and am happy we send my child there. I hope to continue seeing him thrive at Nursery.

My child has attended Woodlands Park for almost a year now and we have been very happy. The staff in her room are lovely, and have really taken time to help them settle, get to know their personality and needs, and supported with toilet training. The outside space is great and the children get lots
of time to play out. There is lots of choice of activities throughout the day inside as well based on different interests.

Amazing nursery, my child has been here since 2023, best choice i ever made, she learns every day, develops every day and is smarter than I could ever expect. Staff are wonderful, polite, great with the children. Food menu is a good variety of different choices and opens up your children's taste buds
to a range of different foods they might not ever try at home. Over all amazing nursery.

My son has been attending since he was 2 in September. He gets excited when it's a school day as he can't wait to play with his friends. All the staff are very friendly. My boy has come along so well with his development. The grounds are beautiful. I particularly love the app that provides you with
updates of meals, nappies/toilet, sleeps and even photos of activities your child is doing throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has come on so much since attending the nursery from 10 months old, she loves going. The staff are amazing and so patient I would highly recommend sending your child here, the little bit more it costs far out ways going to somewhere cheaper.

My little boy has come on since starting nursery just a few weeks ago! The staff are all friendly and accommodating and very willing to help in any way they can. My little boy enjoys nursery and talks about the staff at home. He is singing new songs he has learnt and is genuinely happy to spend time
at nursery. The staff take an interest in ensuring new learning opportunities for my child he is engaged and they send pictures of him to a learning book app which means I can see him learning even when I’m at work. I would recommend it to anyone wanting safe, happy and nurturing care for their child!

Excellent care! I feel so at peace to leave my daughter at the nursery knowing she is in very good hands and she absolutely loves it! They do plenty of activities every week even though she is in baby class at the moment.

The staff and facilities at Woodlands are great! Our child is 3 and currently in the preschool room, but has been since was 11 months old. Each room has met her needs and provided her with fun and plenty of chances to develop. She loves the forest school most of all!

Great nursery and very friendly staff. My Little boy absolutely loves going there, he keeps talking about his friends and teachers at home. They come up with creative activities for kids and provide frequent photo updates. They make sure kids get some fresh air every day which is great. When I pick
my boy up I'm always informed about what he was up to, what he ate and how much he slept.

My son was barely speaking or playing nicely with other children before he started at Woodland Park. He would never share and would always be angry. But his speech has come along nicely in a short time to the point that he passed his 2-and-a-half-year assessment yesterday. He is always kept entertained
and active. There is a true sense of care for children and their development and all the staff are friendly and helpful to both adults and children.

My son loves attending Woodlands Park, especially the forest school setting. The staff are all friendly and genuinely care for the children. I've had 2 children attend Woodlands Park and they both enjoyed their time there, making lots of friends and being cared for by the lovely staff. It is expensive
and the prices have gone up again by 12%, but that's the only downside.
