Banana Moon Day Nursery Gloucester is a fun, stimulating and secure educational environment for children. Operating between the hours 730am-630pm.

There is a high quality of care and learning given to children at each stage of their development.

The nursery has an in-house kitchen producing freshly cooked nutritious food twice a day. A snack is also provided twice a day with fresh fruits and vegetables. Babies are supported to have a balanced diet with their weaning menu which is regularly updated with parents input.

There is also an outdoor playground and an exciting natural adventure area.

The staff support all children to learn with enjoyment and challenge, having a balance of child-initiated and adult-led play-based activities.

Banana Moon Day Nursery provides all children with a firm foundation on which to build future academic, social and emotional success.

The staff are friendly and attentive. My little girl started in February 2019 and I must say, she has settled in really well. She has become more independent and her eating habits have improved a lot. She enjoys going to the nursery.

I cannot praise the staff at Banana Moon enough for how they have made my child feel at ease with being away from me initially and has grown to love attending nursery. I am terribly sad that our time has come to an end with school on the horizon, however, I am very satisfied that my child is more than
prepared to move on and we will remember his time there fondly. The staff are lovely and I always felt that there was time to discuss how the day had been or any concerns that I was having. I would recommend this facility highly.

Have had 2 children here who have both settled really well and happy to come each day. The staff are genuinely enthusiastic and have a caring nature towards the children. No concerns over anything and feel that everyone is approachable enough to talk over any concerns if I would've had any.

As parents, me and my partner are very happy with how this Nursery handles situations, how they support the children, and how they carry out everyday activities with the children, and as a Nursery. As a result, our child has gained far more confidence and happiness, which she struggled with when at
her previous Nursery. We thank this Nursery.

My children have attended Banana Moon for almost 6 months now! I have one child in under 2’s and one in over 2’s/preschool. They both love attending nursery, we are always greeted by a friendly face every morning be given a full account of their day, which is lovely! The staff are always very professional
and lovely and spend the time to get to know the children!
The facilities are fabulous, very clean and modern and staff are always changing it around and adding new additions to the children’s play areas! The outdoor area is lovely but It would be nicer to have freer access to the outdoors for the kids and the outdoor area being a little bit bigger!
They have such a good selection of meals and snacks and it’s all cooked fresh with my children usually eating seconds!
The nursery is always striving for improvement to help make the experience better for all. A recent addition being the launch of the e-journals where parents and staff can access easily for monitoring of child’s progressions.

After being disappointed with my child’s nursery, I decided to view Banana Moon and was really pleased with the information that was given; the resources, the daily routines and most importantly cleanliness of the nursery. My child settled really well and staff were brilliant.

Fabulous staff, very welcoming, spotlessly clean place. Apart from many other factors, what I really love about the nursery is their fresh home cooked food that is served for lunch and tea time. It means I don't have to cook/feed my child after a long day at work. My child loves going to the nursery
and every time I pick up my child, I get a detailed feedback from the staff. Well done to all the staff.

This is my first experience of a nursery and all staff are fantastic with my son. It was especially hard to get him to settle and they were all very patient with him. He now has fun every day he goes and has come such a long way since attending!

Leaving my children with the staff knowing they are well looked after, cared for and surrounded by a bunch of great teachers is what I found put my mind to rest.


My children grew in confidence, speech, academics as well as mannerisms and most days surprised me with the knowledge that they had (not

taught by me).

My daughter totally loves going to this nursery, it is a well cleaned and present nursery, the staff are amazing. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone for their child.
I had separation issues when I first looked into putting her into a nursery, I viewed 2. This being the 2nd place and
I didn't look at any other. They worked amazingly with both me and my daughter, even through some really hard times they have accommodated mine and my daughter's needs, even at the last minute. Thank you. Looking forward to watching her grow for the next year at this nursery before she starts school.

Our daughter settled in so well, she has the best time at nursery and looks forward to going! The staff are amazing - they are so kind and helpful, and our daughter has bonded fantastically with them all. The 'baby' room is full of great activities, toys and books. I cannot recommend Banana Moon more!
