Oaklands Littlebrook Nursery is a nursery that opened in January 2017.

Situated in Englefield Green, with beautiful natural surroundings and a large outdoor space, the setting offers quality care for children aged from three months to five-years-old.

It is a secure and exciting indoor and outdoor environment, designed to stimulate each child’s natural curiosity, exploration, play and imagination.

At the nursery, staff believe all children are individual and have a unique profile of abilities. It values and nurtures the children in order to understand their interests, development and learning. It offers a ‘play-based’ curriculum which underpins all the areas of learning of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Qualified staff work closely with the parents to create a 'home-from-home' environment taking into consideration the diverse and cultural backgrounds of each individual child.

Staff provide a variety of well-balanced and nutritional meals that are freshly prepared on site daily. Menus are regularly reviewed and altered to reflect this.

The children are encouraged to take an active part in the nursery routine, including a self-service system that staff promote in the nursery room.

My son joined Oaklands Littlebrooks Nursery in January. He settled in very quickly and this was due to the high number of settling in sessions the nursery offered! This made me and my son feel very at ease.
He is now thriving at nursery and the atmosphere is incredibly nurturing and welcoming. Communication
is also fantastic - any queries or questions I have are answered very quickly. I highly recommend this nursery!

Oaklands Littlebrook Nursery is such an important place for our family. Over the last few years, it has supported our eldest children from babies through to preschool. Our youngest child is there now and is gaining so much from the experience. Staff are friendly, professional and thoughtful. Children
are provided with a wide range of activities, including wonderful outdoor play. It's wonderful to drop a child to nursery knowing they'll have a lovely day!

Our son has been in this nursery since the age of 7 months. We could have not been any happier with the care received. All members of staff are kind, considerate and great with the kids. Our son loves coming to the nursery.
Oaklands Littlebrook Nursery is quite small but very cosy. It has brilliant
facilities and, most importantly, homely feel.

Arranging nursery for my son, while going back to work, was always going to be hard but Oaklands really helped with great communication and flexibility around mine and my husband’s working hours. Oaklands is the perfect size for children to socialise and learn but also to get that personal touch. It
is in a beautiful location with a lovely outdoor play area. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

My daughter has been attending for over a year and loves going in every day. The staff are fantastic and very caring with all the children and they have full access to lots of stimulating activities and a good selection of healthy food. I particularly like that the children are outside as much as possible
and they also bring a number of different activities in eg: dance classes, cooking, no visits from the police, fire station etc.

My daughter has been at Littlebrook in Englefield Green for over a year now and we couldn’t be happier with it. Her confidence has grown so much and she is always bringing home pictures and telling us how much fun she has had. The staff are so friendly and helpful and really care for the children. They
do lots of different activities with the children every day and I love to see what my daughter has been up to. She has already made some friends and talks about them all the time which is great for her social skills. They also have a lovely garden full of toys and plants they are growing. Couldn’t think of a better nursery.

After viewing many nurseries for my son I knew the minute I stepped into Littlebrooks it was the right one for us. The staff are all lovely, very attentive towards the children and fun to be around. They got to know my son and his ways very quickly and were brilliant the first couple of weeks when he
was settling in.


On a couple of occasions, I've needed extra days/ hours for my son which they were able to accommodate without any hesitations.


The outdoor space is amazing as is the surrounding area to which the nursery is situated in, it feels secure and secluded which puts my mind at ease each time I drop him off.
I have recommended the nursery already to a friend and her child starts in September.

We find this nursery to offer excellent childcare in many aspects. Firstly it is very small (under 30 children capacity I think) and in a lovely peaceful setting with a play garden with activities for when the weather is good. Inside the building has been newly renovated this year and is split over
two floors with a good selection of toys and activities to keep the children entertained.


The team of ladies that work here are very kind and genuinely engage with the children, we have been very impressed with how knowledgeable they are and flexible they have been with requests. Our 8-month old who attends full-time and our 4 year old who has attended a few sessions over the summer holidays seem genuinely happy. Our older daughter speaks fondly of the time she spends here and the many learning activities she does each day. She also comments that she really enjoys the food! All in all, we are very happy with Littlebrook Oaklands.

My son absolutely loves coming to nursery. As this was the first time I was leaving him it has been such a huge relief seeing his excitement when we pull up to the gates.
The staff are absolutely fantastic and have a genuine affection for every child, they are very good at catering for the individual
needs of each child
They do something new and exciting every day helping the children develop new skills and interests. The nursery is always immaculate and bright with many different areas for the children to explore. My son is happiest outside and he loves it in the garden playing with the various apparatus
It's great when I pick him up getting the detailed feedback about his day and what he's been up too
Leaving him was never going to be easy but it has been made so much better knowing he is in safe hands and is happy!
I couldn't recommend Oaklands enough!

I am extremely happy with Oaklands Littlebrook Nursery. The staff look after my 22 months son in the same way that I would. He is supported and loved throughout his day at the nursery. The other babies are also of a calm and kind nature, therefore, I feel happy that he will be playing safely and learning
nice things from each other and their carers.
It's been a fantastic experience all in all. X

Overall Oaklands is an excellent nursery with a variety of activities on offer for the children to enjoy.
It is wonderful to see at first hand that my son is keen to see his friends and get involved in all the activities which are on offer in a small and caring environment.
In the mornings, the children
have the opportunity to be independent by carrying their own bag to their peg, hang up their coats and sit down and tuck into a tasty breakfast.
The staff are also very approachable and keen to support all the children to become independent as they prepare for busy school lives ahead.
I, therefore, thoroughly recommend Oaklands to you all.

I am very happy with Oaklands, Littlebrook as my son's first nursery.
As he's 21 months old and has only ever been at home with me, I was a bit nervous at first. But my mind was soon put to rest by the lovely ladies at the nursery. I love that it's a small nursery, with only a few children (however
it will probably grow in numbers soon).
It gives me peace of mind that my son is getting nearly as much attention as he would do at home. They provide good, healthy snacks and lunches which is fantastic. And so far the daily activities have also been varied and interesting.
