Big Discoveries Nursery provides a fun and stimulating place to learn for 0-5-year-olds within the Portchester Community Centre.

Children develop a passion for learning within a caring environment within a well resourced indoor area and a large outdoor garden. The learning here is child-led; all resources are available at the children's level for them to choose how they want to fill their day.

There is free-flow into the large garden allowing for them to take their learning outdoors as much as they want. The environment and ethos are not just about preparing children for skills for school but skills for life.

The nursery is open 48 weeks a year and is open from 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.

My son really enjoys coming here and sometimes he doesn't want to leave! The outdoor space is brilliant and they go out no matter what the weather which is great for my son as he is very active. What's even better is that if he can't go outside there is an indoor climbing area with a slide to keep
him active.
He is spoilt for choice of activities indoors and outdoors. He has made some good friends through interactive play which is great.
The staff are brilliant and I feel like they know my son really well which makes a massive difference to how happy I am to leave him there. I will definitely be sending my daughter there in the future!

My daughter has recently started at Big Discoveries and I am amazed at how quickly she has settled here. They are a lovely setting, with approachable staff who provide a fantastic range of activities for the children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and I'm so glad I chose to send my daughter
here.

My son goes to Big Discoveries and loves it! The owner and manager are fantastic with the children and carry out a large variety of activities every day. My son is thriving there and runs in every day as he is so excited. I couldn't wish for him to be in a better preschool.
