My 3 year old daughter has been at Bright Little Stars Watford since she was 11 months old and she has absolutely thrived there.
The staff are attentive, reassuring and caring, the meals are nutritious and varied, and they do some really fun and creative activities. The parents are very involved too
with their parent involvement days and special webinars to support parents with things like fussy eating and toddler sleep. I especially like the fact that we have access to cameras - it means we can check on our daughter whenever we want. Great nursery and I highly recommend it to anyone.

This nursery is nothing short of amazing, they have and continue to provide excellent care for my daughter, they are extra careful when it comes to her allergies.

Our child has been with Bright Little Stars for a few months now and we can tell he absolutely loves it. As parents, we are kept in the loop with everything he does and we know exactly how his day has been.
The app is very user-friendly. I'm able to upload to the app as well as the nursery staff. This
creates a nice two-way timeline of home and nursery achievements.
The parents are well looked after at the nursery and I always grab a fresh coffee in the morning from their coffee machine. I've been to a Father's Day breakfast and have done some free online courses they offer such as sleep training.
Overall it's a friendly and well-maintained nursery with professional standards that put my mind at ease leaving my boy there.
The manager seems very approachable and remembers all of the children's names which is a special personal touch.
Finally, the cameras parents have access to view their child throughout the day gives me peace of mind.
I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been at Bright Little Stars since September last year and absolutely loves it. The team took such good care to let her settle in at her own pace. Since then it’s become like a second home to her. She is so fond of her carers. She loves the activities and I can see how much she learns
every day. Would highly recommend to any parent looking to start their kids in nursery.

My daughter has been at Bright Little Stars for 2 years and she loves going in every morning. The staff are very friendly and have a great rapport with the children. Everyday there is a new activity or experience planned and she seems to be really thriving from the variety. Our regular catch-ups with
her key worker are informative and reassuring. I would highly recommend Bright Little Stars Nursery.

Overall my experience is very good, the orion team have done an amazing job in settling my son in the room. He has found his confidence massively and they’ve also put my mind to rest as I was worried about him starting nursery for the first time!

Staff are supportive, friendly and always willing to listen about any concerns regarding your child in terms of children's development and growth. They provide very comprehensive, planned activities which allows and support their speech, knowledge and learning, ensuring the child meets their milestones

I have both my children attending Bright Little Stars Watford from the age of 11 months and now my eldest is 4.5 and youngest 2.5 and I can’t sing enough praises. Honestly, the team are incredible, my children have learnt so much and with my eldest getting ready for school in September I have no doubt
that Bright Little Stars has given him the best foundation to build off. I would recommend them to anyone.

My son has been attending Bright Little Stars Watford since January 2022. When he started in the Milky Way room, as with most parents, we were very nervous. However, the room leader and the staff were very understanding and made us feel very comfortable and more importantly, my son seemed to be settling
in well and building a bond with his key worker.
As he has continued and moved into the Orion room, support from the staff in his new room has also been great. He is always excited to tell us all the new things he’s done and learnt at nursery.

My son has attended Bright Little Stars since he was ten months old, and he has thrived. All the staff in the Milky Way room have supported him so well, and he has absolutely loved it. Making the transition from part-time to full-time was the best decision we made for our son. Since he has been attending
the setting full-time, he has grown in confidence, and we have been able to witness the development of his personality. I would also like to add that the staff at Bright Little Stars make every effort to know each child well, which really makes a difference. Our son's key worker has made every effort to ensure that she caters to all of our son's requirements to provide him with the optimum experience and has really made every effort to recreate the routines we have at home for him in the nursery. He once shied away from going to nursery, but it has become one of his most loved places, which is incredibly reassuring as a parent.

We chose Bright Little Stars for our daughter for when I went back to work after maternity leave - and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Our daughter started there at 13 months and is now three going on four. Bright Little Stars has been the perfect place for her, and we are delighted with
everything it has to offer. From the minute you walk through the door, it is such a friendly, bright and nurturing environment - immediately putting a child at ease. On starting, our daughter quickly relaxed in the wonderful 'baby' room Milkyway, and I felt I could relax at work knowing that she was somewhere so safe, kind and fulfilling. Bright Little Stars made my transfer back to work a whole heap easier!
The staff are tremendous - in each room (Milkyway, Orion and Supernova). They are such fun, and have boundless energy - and they provide such an amazing range of activities for the children. Thank you, Bright Little Stars; you really are amazing, and we are so grateful for all you do!

My daughter has attended Bright Little Stars Day Nursery since she was 10 months old and has thrived and settled in so well with the wonderful staff who are kind, loving and so much fun. My older son attended this nursery also from the age of 10 months to 3 years and when it was time to choose somewhere
for my daughter to go whilst I was at work there wasn't a doubt in my mind this was the place I would be sending her. The staff treat every child so special. They have so many activities and so many different theme days that every day is different and fun on its own accord. The food they offer is great and varied and at the end of each day at pick up, you not only get a diary of their day but the staff talk to you about how your child was during the day, what they have done, what they enjoyed. This place is very special to us and I could not recommend it more!

Our daughter has been going to Bright Little Stars since August 2019 and has really enjoyed every moment. The staff are really supportive and friendly.
They really helped us with potty training, continue to encourage her using Chinese language.
Our daughter has a lot of allergies and under the care
of the staff, we have always felt she is in a really safe environment as everyone knows what she can and can't have.
When we were expecting our second child, the team at nursery helped us with tips on how to talk to her about her new sibling and during nursery time, they spoke a lot to her about new baby coming and allowing her time to role play having a brother.
This really helped as she was so excited when he arrived.
We have already enrolled our little boy to attend the nursery as we have seen the support and development they have given to our daughter have.

Our son started at the nursery in November last year. Since, he has settled in perfectly. All the staff (from management to practitioners) have been incredibly accommodating and welcoming. They are approachable and have always been efficient with communication - verbally and via email also. As a parent,
I feel reassured when I am able to call the nursery to check in on him (particularly when he has been under the weather) and the staff have been more than happy to provide us with an update and listen to any concerns we may have.
Our son has special dietary requirements, so we were thrilled to hear that they were able to meet his needs as this was one less thing for us to worry about.
We enjoy getting updates of him engaging in several different activities via the app, as well as accessing the nursery camera to see what he is up to. We also appreciate the various parent workshops the nursery offers.
We continue to recommend the nursery to our friends and family!

My daughter is 4 years old now and soon to leave Bright Little Stars to attend primary school. I highly recommend the nursery for so many different reasons, my daughter not only gained great independence but she has also thrived participating in the many opportunities Bright Little Stars have given
her from learning Spanish, phonics, and sports to name a few. My daughter always loves going into nursery, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming, I really like the fact that all staff get to know the children by name and it feels very family orientated, you can tell it’s more than just a job to the staff, they genuinely care for the children. My second daughter is also at the nursery and I’m so glad she will follow in the same footsteps as my eldest daughter. Thank you Bright Little Stars Watford!

My son has been attending this nursery part time since May 2022 and I cannot fault the nursery and staff one bit! My son has been so happy attending the nursery and absolutely adores the staff there. The standard of care is beyond excellent! They monitor and are mindful of every little thing and staff
do not hesitate to contact the parent if they have any questions or concerns. They not only provide such an amazing service for the children but also provide evening workshops and training for the parents in first aid, potty training etc. It is THE BEST nursery and I cannot wait for my son to attend there full time.

Our daughter has attended Bright Little Stars, Watford for almost a year now (time has flown). During her time she has gained her confidence, learnt to walk, talk, eat just about everything and developed a good social peer group of nursery friends. She is happy when dropped off and sad to leave in the
afternoons, which is testament to the nursery staff and environment. The location is easy to get to and the staff really go out of their way to provide you with updates on their daily progress, via photos and app updates of their developmental progress versus the curriculum. We have recommended the nursery to many friends. During the pandemic, it was great to see extra steps taken to ensure child, staff and parent safety and this provided us with a level of comfort, that our child was in a safe and secure environment. Thank you to the Bright Little Stars team for their help so far and we look forward to the next few years of nursery.

Emily has been a part of the Watford team since it opened in March 2016, contributing towards the Ofsted 'Outstanding' grading in 2018. Emily has a Cache Level 3 qualification in children and young people’s workforce, using her knowledge and passion to develop her career and achieve several promotions starting as Senior Nursery Educator and progressing to her current role as Nursery Manager.


With over 12 years' experience in various childcare settings and 4 years in a managerial position, Emily prides herself on her role modelling skills; incorporating a child focused approach to support her team and keep morale high to provide a fun, warm and nurturing environment for all children to learn and grow.
