Rated 'Outstanding' by OFSTED in May 2018, Bright Little Stars Nursery Watford is a purpose-built nursery located in the Watford area. The gated building has a castle theme, and is housed in a safe and secure environment, surrounded by a coloured fence.

There are three air-conditioned rooms designed for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. The building has natural light where possible and there is a special nurserycam to enable parents to be part of their child's learning day.

The broad-based curriculum is designed to make learning fun within the Early Years Foundation framework.

Bright Little Stars have amazing and helpful staff, excellent structure and learning strategies. My daughter has been with Bright Little Stars for over a year and she has progressed in leaps and bounds. The changes I have seen with my little one shows she is getting a lot of support and encouragement
in learning new skills and expressing ones self.

Absolutely love the nursery. Within a few months of joining the nursery, my son formed a great bond with his key teachers and rest of the staff. They are so helpful and always ready to provide advice. My son loves it and runs off in the morning for breakfast. Glad to see him flourishing so well. The
extracurricular activities are brilliant. 5* rating for sure for this nursery.

Fantastic nursery. My little girl has been in supernova class for over a year and enjoys every minute. She has learnt so much and the staff have really helped her get ready to start reception in September. Would recommend 100%!

We reviewed this nursery in February 2018 after our little one had been in the nursery for 5 months. We are pleased to say that since then, there has been lots of positive changes to her room (Supernova). Since February 2018, she has a new key person who has worked so hard with her and is very passionate
about her work. We had our first review with the key person today and was very pleased with the detailed review and suggestions to work further with our little one. The handover is now in the form of a communication book which has been working really well. The room has a new lead and overall, there have been many changes especially in relation to making the children school ready with all lots of classes for parents to help support the children for school. We are so pleased with how things have changed for the better since February 2018 and will definitely recommend the nursery. The food remains excellent with the children fed at regular intervals.

Our son started this month and has settled so well into the MilkyWay room. He’s made a lovely bond with his key worker too, which is such a relief! We enjoy the daily updates showing photos of what he has been doing at nursery.

A fantastic nursery with friendly staff. Placing my little one in this nursery from 9 months old was the best decision. The bond that he has with all the staff and how they have helped him progress through each stage has been brilliant. It is great that he comes home a happy baby knowing he has been

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Joined: 2016

Emily has been a part of the Watford team since it opened in March 2016, contributing towards the Ofsted 'Outstanding' grading in 2018. Emily has a Cache Level 3 qualification in children and young people’s workforce, using her knowledge and passion to develop her career and achieve several promotions starting as Senior Nursery Educator and progressing to her current role as Nursery Manager.


With over 12 years' experience in various childcare settings and 4 years in a managerial position, Emily prides herself on her role modelling skills; incorporating a child focused approach to support her team and keep morale high to provide a fun, warm and nurturing environment for all children to learn and grow.


Emily has strong motivation and dedication to succeed in all that she sets out to achieve, empowering and inspiring her team to achieve high standards of quality care for all children that attend Bright Little Stars.
