All the staff are amazing and am grateful for all their work with the children.
It took me a while to find a nursery for my girls but I’m so glad I got them into Burnage Brighter Beginnings.
My girls love going and that’s the most important thing.

Brighter Beginnings is a great place. The staff are amazing, friendly, caring and do a fantastic job. My child gets so excited and loves attending and comes home so happy and has started to have a lovely bond with staff would definitely recommend.

The staff are amazing here and love the kids so well. They are friendly, kind and really help the kids play, explore and grow. The whole team have gone above and beyond this year and I have never had any worry sending my little one in. She has thrived and is thriving in this nursery and it has been
a total God send this year. One thing that I noticed right from the get go is how the staff get down to the kids level and engage with them, speaking to them kindly and clearly, this impressed me from the off. It's a wonderful place.

I have two daughters at Brighter Beginnings and since my 4 year old started in 2019, we have been really impressed with the way the nursery is run, the effort and thought that goes into the activities the kids take part in. Since the manager took over management at Brighter Beginnings Burnage I have
felt very confident in the care and development of both my girls 4 and 18months. Both kids happily go into nursery and have always had action-packed days exploring different activities, messy play, painting, nature, physical exercise (lots of outdoor space), writing and numeracy. They have both thrived at Brighter Beginnings and have made great bonds with the staff and fellow children in their classes. When we have had issues (minor and rarely) I have felt welcomed and supported by the manager and the team, with them doing everything they can to problem solve and suggest strategies going forward. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery or preschool for their kids.

Great friendly staff. Very helpful and kids love it. My kids wouldn't settle at all at first, now they're used to it they love it and enjoy going to nursery every day. I haven't had the chance to experience trips etc due to Covid restrictions but despite that nursery effort is great overall.

We are very pleased with the nursery attended by our son. We appreciate the commitment of the nursery staff who every day try to ensure that our child's development is at the highest possible level. Every day our son experiences many great games. The babysitters are very nice and helpful. Every day

Having sent both of my daughters to Brighter Beginnings Burnage, I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery. My 4-year old has developed strong communication and social skills, while thoroughly enjoying the wide range of subjects around which the nursery builds an imaginative and stimulating range
of activities. I am consistently impressed by the new words and abilities my 1-year-old comes home with - she also doesn't even glance back at me when I drop her off at the door. They both come home tired and very happy from nursery, even when my elder daughter has been a bit challenging in the morning. Over the last 12 months, the managers and their excellent team have made nursery days exciting, fun, and educational for both my girls. They also get them to eat a wide range of foods, which is more than we can get them to do at home.

My daughter loves going to nursery here and is always welcomed like a home from home. The staff are really kind and caring and look after her and take so much joy in chatting to her and following her interests. From day one she has settled so nicely and talks about all her teachers and her friends that
she loves to play with. The managers are very flexible too and if I have to change days they are always really good and nothing is too much trouble. Over Covid it has been great to have the nursery looking after my girl with all the new safety and everything up to date. I would recommend this nursery as my daughter is so happy and settled there.

My little boy started nursery at Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Burnage. He was upset on his settles (to be expected). He’s never been to nursery before or been away from me for so long with people he doesn't know I was so nervous but this nursery is amazing! My little boy loves it there, the staff
are professional, caring and attentive. I’ve seen the improvement in his social skills and he comes home with a new word or skill every day. The feedback from the staff is exceptional I feel like I’ve been in nursery with him and not missed out on his learning /growing.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the nursery for making such an emotional, scary time into an exciting experience for me and my little one. You're doing amazing girls.
I’m extremely happy this was the nursery I choose for my little bundle of joy.

I recently put my just 2-year-old daughter in this nursery for one day a week. From the very first phone call enquiring to her now being in has been absolutely amazing. Every question answered without making me feel stupid for even asking basic questions haha. They made not just my daughter but myself
feel welcome too. Gone above and beyond to help me with all my enquiries even for the future. Absolutely fab, very happy and will always recommend as my currently 9-year-old also went there when she was 2.

Really happy with the setting and staff, happy, friendly vibes in and around nursery. Bright colourful displays, different themed tuff trays for parents to vote for on Facebook, nice outside areas. My son is a handful and the staff are fantastic towards him and he’s really happy. After taking a while
to settle he is happy to go in so I know he enjoys. I’ve watched him without him knowing a few times and he’s always been happy. I know other mums that have been there past and present who have nothing but good things to say. I’ve also had to ask a few times for last-minute changes to days and hours and managers and the girls are so helpful and accommodating. Thank you Burnage ladies.

Our son has been with Brighter Beginnings Nursery since August 2017, he has come on so much since being at this nursery. The staff are very friendly and my son has taken to them which is such a relief when you're a working mum. He really enjoys going there, they have lots of different activities for
the children to do each day, and they give you a daily sheet of what your child has done that day, and what they have had to eat. They are very experienced in what they do, it shows, and the children who go there are very happy, as are the staff. If you have any issues with your child, they are happy to help work with you. I would highly recommend this nursery, to any parent, wanting to find a good friendly day nursery and who go that extra mile with your children.

My child has been at this nursery for 8 months now and was very clingy to myself, now he has changed into a different little boy. He has a great relationship with all the staff here. When he first started he wouldn't take his coat off at all. Now its bye Mum as soon as he gets in. All the staff are
very good, cant fault them.
I am very happy and content dropping my child off knowing he is absolutely fine all day while I am at work. Definitely recommend to other parents.

My 16 month old is extremely happy and settled at Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery Burnage. The standard of care she receives from the staff is excellent. They are warm and friendly and give you the confidence you need to leave your child in someone else's care. Each child has a key worker and all staff
are first aid trained.
The rooms are clean and comfortable with lots of space for the children to play, but not too big to feel lost in. The snowflake room is for under 2's and has a little room for nap time that is cosy and warm with soft lighting.
The building is safe and secure whilst still providing lots of outside space for the children to explore.
The manager is great and has created a fun and creative place for a child to learn and grow.
I would certainly recommend Brighter Beginnings Burnage to anyone looking for an affordable and quality child care provider.

A fantastic nursery with lovely staff. All staff develop a personal connection with your child. My child has really come on socially since going to brighter beginnings and loves going every day. He has never cried when being left. A well-balanced diet of meals is provided and there are lots of activities
to both inside and outside the nursery.

My son has been with this nursery since mid-2015 (when it was run by another company). There is a good team of staff, and since Brighter Beginnings have taken over, there have been even more improvements to security and standard procedures. I've been very happy with the nursery. The prices are reasonable.
I would be happy to recommend it to others.

This is our daughter's first month at the nursery and she's found settling in quite difficult. The staff have worked really hard, however, making her comfortable and happy and she's now well settled and enjoying her days there.

I started as a level 3 apprentice with Brighter Beginnings training school and started at Brighter Beginnings Newton Heath. Through consistent hard work and dedication, I worked my way up, going from a room leader to a deputy manager. One of the most significant times in my career was when I helped support my manager to gain Outstanding in our OFSTED. My determination and my ability to inspire others helped me to get to where I am today, which is the manager of Burnage. I am extremely passionate about providing the best start for children in my setting and truly believe that providing high-quality childcare has a significant impact on children’s development. My aim in life is to provide children with the best experiences and opportunities to ensure they have the best possible start in life.

Early years have always been a big passion of mine as I truly believe that children are our future and how we shape them will have a lasting impact on who they become. I started my childcare journey 19 years ago, making the decision to join Brighter Beginnings 12 years ago. During my 19 years in childcare, I have dedicated myself to my studies and have gained a degree in childhood studies. I pride myself on my knowledge of childhood development and I often help mentor the apprentices and help them on their journey to become outstanding practitioners. Something I’m extremely passionate about is supporting children with additional needs as I feel like these children need an advocate and someone to be their voice who will support them and help them to reach their goals. Therefore I am currently doing my masters in Psychology to further my knowledge of neurodivergences so I can apply this to my current role and support the children in my care. As Early years is continuously changing I ensure that my knowledge is kept up to date not just regarding child development but also in regards to legislation. One of my biggest strengths is my empathy for others and being able to support staff through this I have worked my way up to become deputy manager.

I have worked in childcare for 5 years and started with Brighter Beginnings as an apprentice doing my level 2, during this time I have worked my way up to room leader. I have worked at the Burnage setting for 3 years and lead the 0-2-year-old room. I have worked on my self-confidence during my time in the setting and now I am proud to say that I have become a confident practitioner who often supports others as part of my job role, brighter beginnings have been a vital part of my journey to become the practitioner I am today. I am very passionate about providing a warm and caring environment for the children. I ensure that my room and the staff in it are very nurturing as we work with the littlest children. Something I’m really passionate about is transitioning the babies into the setting as I know this can be difficult for both the parents and the children so I pride myself on effective parent partnerships. Most of my experience is within the baby room I am very confident in my knowledge and understanding of providing the children with the best start in life through providing awe and wonder activities.

I have worked extremely hard to gain my level 2 and 3 qualifications with the company, with various support from my tutors. During my time at Brighter Beginnings, my enthusiasm for providing the best possible start to children on their educational journey has seen me work my way up to room leader. I have ample experience with all age ranges but my preferred room of choice is the preschool room. I am passionate about safeguarding children and ensuring that my team are aware of how to safeguard children. Not only am I a dedicated practitioner I’m also a caring mother to two of my own children, having my own children helps me to set the standard of how I am with the children in my care as I often think to myself about how I would want my children to be taken care of.
