Kids Planet Swinton is a brand-new, purpose-built nursery and opened in November 2017. The nursery is located on Station Road, with close proximity to local parks, libraries and close to Swinton town centre. The nursery provides excellent facilities with large, spacious rooms and secure outdoor area.

Nursery meals are freshly prepared by a qualified chef on the premises and will cater for children’s individual needs while focusing on the nutritional requirements of all children at their appropriate ages. The nursery invites input from parents into their menus.

Safeguarding the children in the nursery is an utmost priority and state of the art security systems are in place. Access to the nursery will be through a secure door system and each room has CCTV both indoors and outdoors. Intercom systems are as standard, ensuring child’s safety is paramount at all times.

I’m so happy we chose this nursery, my daughter went to 2 other nursery’s and they didn’t help her at all. Since she started this nursery we can see a big change in her, I just wish we would have brought her sooner! All the staff are lovely and helpful, my daughter has autism and they have 100% worked
with me and my child and make sure she child got into the right school. The SENCO's who work there are amazing, they really do know what they're doing with your child. They're so good at their job I cannot thank them enough for all the help they have given me and my daughter. My daughter loves it in the nursery. I recommend this nursery to everyone who is looking for a good nursery. I tell all my friends who are looking for a nursery to place their child here. The nursery has very good facilities, also the safeguarding of the children is amazing. I was scared of taking my daughter to another nursery because there wasn’t that much security in place.

Prior to coming here my eldest had been at 2 other nurseries and we’d not had a good time with them and his social development was lacking.
Since coming to Kids Planet he’s really come out of his shell and loves going into nursery in the morning, whereas we used to have crying and tantrums in the mornings.
Can’t rate them highly enough or thank them enough for some great work.

We are so happy that we chose this nursery for our child. The staff have managed her brilliantly. Keeping us updated at every step. Our child has not been the easiest to manage. She has been very happy at this nursery since it opened and will be sad to say goodbye next year.

Lovely immaculate nursery. Staff seem to be treated well by management. My son had flu they emptied the class and did a huge clean. My grandchildren love it here, the atmosphere is amazing.

My son had attended a few Kids Planet Day Nurseries. I would never send him anywhere else. The staff at Swinton are brilliant with my son, he has come on so much, especially in regards to his confidence and independence. They always have a friendly face and fill me in on his day. I have also been to
a few stay and play sessions which are always great. The nursery go the extra mile.

Absolutely wonderful nursery, very helpful and loving and welcoming to myself and my son couldn't have picked a better place for him to go. He loves it every time he gets in, he is always so happy when I collect him. It's also a very clean and very safe environment too.

My little boy started here at 10 months old. I was really nervous about leaving him but the staff reassured me and he absolutely loves it! He gets giddy as he’s walking in and puts his arms straight out for the staff. The staff keep me updated on my son’s day and nothing is too much trouble for them.
I can go to work knowing my son is well looked after and having fun. They track his progress and encourage him with his next steps. I couldn’t be happier with my choice and always recommend it to anyone who asks.

My 11-month-old loves going to nursery. He has been there 3 months now and settled in very quickly. The staff are brilliant and very reassuring as I was really nervous about leaving him. He always puts his arms out for the staff and you can see how good they are with the children. Always nice and clean
in there too. I love how they update the app with how they are getting on in the day, pictures what they have eaten, nappies etc.

My daughter started Kids Planet Swinton at 9 months old. The girls are lovely and welcoming every day and make you feel very confident that your child is in good hands. My daughter is now 13 months old and she is very happy to go to nursery and will happily wave bye-bye to me which is a very good sign.
She has also learnt so many things over the last 4 months and I would really recommend Kids Planet Swinton.

My daughter has been going here since April 2018 and I have seen a big change in her. She has come on so well and has started using the potty more and telling me when she needs to go on the potty.
Her speech has come on so well, the staff are so friendly and are good with the children.
I am so happy
I sent my daughter to this nursery. The only thing I have a problem with is when things are posted on parent zone about meals times, something could be put on there saying she has eaten part of her meal or all, but when I go to pick her up I get told something completely different and sometimes nothing gets posted on there about what my daughter has eaten or what she has done. But other than that I am very happy with everything else.

My son has been attending here for around a year now. He is currently going through being assessed for autism and ever since he has been going here he has come on so much with his communication.
All the staff are really friendly and you can tell they all love their job. They go above and beyond to
cater for his every need and make sure he is happy and comfortable at nursery. My son really enjoys going here and I would never send him anywhere else. The place is very clean and always has a good atmosphere and activities for the kids.

My daughter has been coming here for 3 months now and I can't believe how much she has come on compared to in her previous nursery (which I can now tell she disliked!) The staff are so friendly and the Manager is always visible and accessible if needed. My daughter actually doesn't go mad when I leave
her anymore and I don't worry one bit when she is there. So glad I moved her!

The staff are very welcoming and really care for the children. The nursery has very good facilities and the rooms are spacious. The security and safeguarding of the children is fantastic and the nutrition is also. It helps that the girls help to leave your baby/child at nursery easier and they are always

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Nursery Manager Ellie is passionate about her role and always wants the best for the children and team at Kids Planet Swinton. She started out as an apprentice and has progressed into an Acting Manager. She holds a level 3 qualification, is a qualified SENDCO, and has been on several training courses over the years – and always looking to update her knowledge.
