Bright Little Stars is an Ofsted rated Outstanding Nursery situated close to Stanmore Village and opened in October 2017.

There are three bright learning rooms, designed for babies, toddlers and pre-school, featuring dual air conditioning/heating, modern interactive LCD computer screens & high-quality resources to ensure children have the best care & learning facilities.

Large, outdoor play areas have been carefully designed with all areas of learning considered. A tranquil sensory garden & custom-made playground activity centre for climbing, creative and imaginative play which balances freedom with safety. In addition, sheltered areas give each room direct access to the outdoors.

The unique Bright Little Stars Learning Programme nurtures a love of learning bringing play & teaching together into the curriculum featuring prime areas, phonics & literacy, mathematics, science & botany, culture & geography, ICT, expressive arts, home learning and a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs.

They strongly believe in working in partnership with parents & have a special online 'Parent Area' for existing parents. Their Head of Teaching and School Relationships supports parents when it is time to think about children to school by building relationships with schools and holding Parent Workshops.

NurseryCam offers parents additional peace of mind and allows them to be more involved in their children’s learning. An on-site chef freshly prepares healthy and nutritious meals and snacks that have been developed in consultation with a qualified nutritionist.

Outstanding - My son has come on leaps and bounds in terms of speech, sentences, understanding of the alphabet. I feel confident that he will be in great stead when joining primary education in Sept.


Staff at BLS Stanmore (Bright Little Stars) - Considerate, energetic, enthusiastic with a positive

can-do attitude with results shown in the children’s exterior.


Excellent on-site chef - Variety with snack plentiful.

After doing a lot of research and visiting nurseries I found Bright Little Stars a very accommodating nursery. The facilities are very good and cater for all ages up to preschool. The staff are very helpful and always available to answer your questions. The nursery is well managed and kept very clean.
My son enjoys going to nursery and comes home with a big smile on his face. I couldn't fault anything about Bright Little Stars.

Ruby

Ruby Tilley

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Joined: 2013

Ruby Tilley is the Nursery Manager at our Stanmore Nursery. Ruby has over 9 years of experience working in the Early Years sector and holds a Cache Level 3 in Childcare and Development. Ruby has had exceptional career growth at Bright Little Stars, starting her journey with us in 2013 as a Nursery Educator at Mill Hill. She was promoted to Room Leader and then progressed her career, in 2016, to Second Deputy Manager in our Watford branch.


In 2017, Ruby was the opening Supernumerary Deputy Manager at Bright Little Stars Stanmore and in 2021 was Acting Nursery Manager at Bright Little Stars Barnet. Ruby played an integral role in Bright Little Stars Stanmore’s first Ofsted inspection, where they achieved Outstanding.


Ruby specialises in working to support children with special educational needs. She has a Diploma in Speech and Language and is the Group SEND Lead for Bright Little Stars.


Ruby takes pride in ensuring children leave her care having the greatest opportunities to shape their very own personalities. Teaching independence, the ability to make choices, life skills, and fun comes naturally to Ruby. Ruby also strives to ensure children’s well-being is given the utmost importance in everyday practice.
