At Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton, caring, qualified staff observe and assess children's development and most importantly provide a variety of learning experiences that are fun and build on what the children already know.

Calm tranquil rest is a prerequisite for babies and younger children and the nursery has sleep rooms equipped with cots and sleep mattresses. Each child has their own bed linen which is regularly laundered in house.

Children are given delicious homemade, nutritious meals and are offered five portions of fruit and vegetables every day. The team ensure they have the opportunity to spend time outside every day throughout the year for fresh air and exercise. When children prefer to stay indoors, an alternative physical activity is provided such as yoga and dancing.

CCTV operates throughout the nursery for the protection of children. Parents have fingerprint access directly into the nursery to drop off and collect children.

An app that shows you what your child has been doing throughout the day. E.g., sleep times, nappy changes and any food or bottles that they have consumed. There are also pictures and videos that are sent directly to your phone whilst you're at work to give you that extra reassurance.

My child started attending a few months ago, at first I was very anxious to leave her with strangers but the staff are exceptional. They settle her really quickly , and every time she's been at nursery she always has good things to say about her day and who she played with. The mini moons room leader
is especially an amazing asset , my daughter will sit talking to me about her quite often. I definitely feel my daughter is in good hands at this nursery and really have no complaints.

My daughter started a nursery this year and I couldn't think about any other than Banana moon. Really nice staff, kids are having healthy meals, I'm up to date with everything going on with my daughter. I definitely recommend this nursery.

Banana Moon is a wonderful nursery. The staff are intelligent, knowledgeable, and care for the children so much. It's quite clear that the job is their priority when the kids are in their care. They constantly keep you up to date and always inform you of tumbles or emotions.
When we first went to
view the nursery, they didn't mind answering my million questions and showed us every aspect of what or who our child would be interacting with. We knew instantly that it was the right choice.
We have had nothing but appreciation for how comfortable they made our child feel from day 1. They had patience and took time to get to know our child. They take safety very seriously and ensure it is enforced with every parent or carer who picks their child up.
As our child transitions to school this year, we can only thank all the staff at the nursery for all they have done. We couldn't be more thankful. We just wish they had a school attached to the nursery!

My son absolutely loves nursery since he has settled in. We can see him grow and learn lots of new skills and words and every day is thriving.

My two children have attended this nursery for over 6 years and I have to say that it has been an absolute pleasure. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton has been outstanding from the start. They settled my little boy in beautifully and took their time to really get to know him, his personality and what he needs. The team feels like a second family to us all now and my little one loves going to nursery and is full of
adoration for all the adults and children. My children have been to 4 different nurseries over the past few years and Banana Moon by far has the best and most welcoming environment. They provide so many opportunities for children with additional projects like baking or crafting and their family events are planned and hosted with so much care. I have never felt like a burden to the team and they are so supportive of our family as a whole. My child has made so much progress, is happy and supported and will absolutely be ready for big school in September (although he will really miss his Banana Moon family!). I can't thank everyone enough for loving my little boy as if he were their own.

What a fantastic nursery. We have been at Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton for 6 years and have always found the staff so kind, caring and approachable. Our daughters have thrived, and the effort put into everyday activities and special events is amazing. The daily updates are so important and offer
the reassurance needed. I would highly recommend this nursery setting and will be sad to say goodbye once our youngest starts school later on this year.

The nursery and the staff are amazing at keeping my children happy and settled in the nursery. I have two children attending the nursery and both are always happy and playing, eat well and sleep well. They have a fantastic relationship not only with the staff but with other children too. They are taught
how to be kind, share, to express their feelings and emotions which has been fantastic for their development and progression. My children are thriving in this nursery and I am very happy with their development.

Genuinely excellent nursery. Parking is great and safe and secure entry into building. Second child to have gone and highly recommend them.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton! The care and attention our child received throughout their time in the baby and mini rooms have been exceptional.
Our child recently transitioned to the minimoons and the staff handled the move with such professionalism
and care. They organized several settling-in sessions, which helped our child get familiar with the new room, routines, and educators. The team was always on hand to answer our questions and update us on how our child was adapting, which really put our minds at ease.
The environment is wonderfully stimulating, with activities that encourage learning, creativity, and independence.
We've also been impressed with how seamlessly the nursery has integrated educational elements, preparing our child for their next steps in learning while keeping everything fun and engaging.

The nursery staff are very professional and willing to help beyond the expectations. The nursery is feels like being at home, my grandson loves going to the nursery to see the staff and the other children. Absolutely lovely nursery, my son has been attending 2 days a week since September 2024 and he has settled amazingly! He has learnt so much from numbers, to being able to eat independently. I am so proud of him and all the hard work the staff put in to taking care of him.
I cannot wait till he is
able to go full time! A huge shout out to one staff member in particular, his favourite! Also 3 further staff members and the manager and all the other staff, you're doing a great job!

My son has recently left Banana Moon Day Nursery to attend school nursery now but his experience at Banana Moon was amazing. He was there for just over a year, starting in the toddler room.
I expressed my nerves before his start date as I was concerned about his development and additional needs. Not
only did management point me in the right direction to get all the help and support I needed outside of nursery but were a massive support within the nursery setting too. The girls there really understood his needs and worked around him, including the lovely chef. He is a picky eater and the chef would always accommodate him and never give up trying new foods.
Everyone was so patient with him and it really built up his confidence, activities were made and his interests were really thought about to keep him engaged and helping him achieve his targets. My son's speech was delayed but now he is talking so much more and I believe he wouldn't be where he is today if he didn't attend Banana Moon.

Banana Moon Day Nursery has been an excellent environment for our child. They have been very supportive, especially with helping us seek specialist help due to the possibility of our child being neurodivergent. They provide regular updates throughout the day through their app to keep us aware of his

My nephew has been attending Banana Moon since 2023. He absolutely loves all the staff there, which isn't hard as they shower all the children with love and warmth, creating a nurturing, yet stimulating environment to thrive in! He's adapted and learnt a great deal of social and learning skills during
his time at nursery. He's a very fussy eater and the chef always caters to his needs, preparing him meals which tie in with his dietary requirements. I can't thank the staff and nursery enough for the care and love they provide him, and supporting him throughout his journey at Wollaton!

We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter is receiving at Banana Moon! They went above and beyond to accommodate us even at very short notice and, after a few years on days 1 and 2, our little one is now not looking back at drop off: she is straight into staff arms or holding their hands and
happy to start her day of learning and fun. Since starting nursery, her eating has improved immensely and I am now confident she is having all the nutrients needed for her development. We are very happy with the app and the updates we receive every day. The pictures make a big difference for us! Seeing her laugh and making friends it's just priceless!

My baby girl started immediately in the new year after her settling in sessions pre-Christmas and my anxiety was heightened after never leaving her with anyone previously. 2 days later she doesn’t even look back, she’s settled in so well over the past month and I have zero worries or concerns for her
well-being. The app is the best thing I could have hoped for! Keeping me in the loop, messages, updates, pictures, her little daily diary. I can’t fault the staff, they are attentive, knowledgeable and just a credit to the nursery. I’ve recommended Banana Moon to others and if we have another baby I’ll be putting our names down as soon as they are born!

After my firstborn child attended this nursery back in 2020, I decided to apply for my youngest to start here in 2023 and I am so glad I did. The staff are still as good (if not better) as they were years ago. They always go the extra mile and I feel so at ease leaving my son there. The app updates
are great as you are kept in the loop whilst your child is at the setting. I would 100% recommend Banana Moon to any of my friends or family with young children.
