At Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton, caring, qualified staff observe and assess children's development and most importantly provide a variety of learning experiences that are fun and build on what the children already know.

Calm tranquil rest is a prerequisite for babies and younger children and the nursery has sleep rooms equipped with cots and sleep mattresses. Each child has their own bed linen which is regularly laundered in house.

Children are given delicious homemade, nutritious meals and are offered five portions of fruit and vegetables every day. The team ensure they have the opportunity to spend time outside every day throughout the year for fresh air and exercise. When children prefer to stay indoors, an alternative physical activity is provided such as yoga and dancing.

CCTV operates throughout the nursery for the protection of children. Parents have fingerprint access directly into the nursery to drop off and collect children.

An app that shows you what your child has been doing throughout the day. E.g., sleep times, nappy changes and any food or bottles that they have consumed. There are also pictures and videos that are sent directly to your phone whilst you're at work to give you that extra reassurance.

After my firstborn child attended this nursery back in 2020, I decided to apply for my youngest to start here in 2023 and I am so glad I did. The staff are still as good (if not better) as they were years ago. They always go the extra mile and I feel so at ease leaving my son there. The app updates
are great as you are kept in the loop whilst your child is at the setting. I would 100% recommend Banana Moon to any of my friends or family with young children.

Both my children have been attending this nursery, my daughter has been going for nearly two years and my son started in January 2023. He has a pacemaker. The nursery has been wonderful and even raised money for a defibrillator for the nursery and community to raise awareness.
Both my children are
more confident and enjoy going to nursery as they get to do a lot of different activities. The lunch is also good compared to a lot of other nurseries.

It’s been great so far, our daughter loves it in the nursery. They look after her very well and we trust the team.

Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton has been an amazingly supportive, caring and fun place for our little one.
We struggled to get him to sleep, but the carers were so supportive and helped us without judging in a kind and gentle manner.
Our little one has shown some behavioural challenges, but the staff
have recognised concerns and spoken to us in a collaborative, non-judgemental and productive manner. The amount of love, care and cuddles the girls give is superb.
They have an on-site chef whose food is just amazing!
The nursery staff really encourage each child's needs, whether they love animals or numbers they've always got a new fun activity to include everyone.
The nursery also gives little activities to do at home, which we think is such a lovely idea. Like make your own play dough, recipes etc.
It's so easy to see what your child is doing with the app and to book extra days etc.
The outdoor space could be a bit bigger ideally.

My daughter loves going to Banana Moon Day Nursery, she's always so happy afterwards, she has made lots and lots of friends and brings back nice paintings and drawings she loves her (nursery teachers) and always talks about them. We love the app with regular updates on what food our daughter has eaten
what activities she has done and how long she has slept, overall this nursery is amazing.

A lovely nursery with wonderful staff who go above and beyond. My son loves attending nursery and we get lots of updates throughout the day so we know what he’s up to.

Me, my husband and little one think that Banana Moon Day Nursery is amazing! I was quite worried about my son starting there at 11 months old but he settled in so well. Now 7 months on he absolutely loves going and adores the staff. The staff are incredible, they welcome my son like he is family every
morning and shower him with so much love. They keep me up to date with what he has been doing at nursery with lots of photos and videos. Plus they always have time to talk to me at the drop-offs and pick-ups too. My son has learnt so much at nursery, he now can self soothe himself to sleep, he knows more words, he is very sociable and he is beginning to share with others. They provide him with so many exciting opportunities every day which I can’t provide at home. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about the nursery, they are truly fantastic and we feel so lucky to send our son there. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and dedication, it really shines through.

Banana Moon is an incredible nursery. The warmth that we receive when we walk in the door puts both my child and myself immediately at ease. Staff are enthusiastic, confident, compassionate, respectful, creative and so fun. All the staff in the baby room have gotten to know my child and know her and
her interests really well. They always make it a point to tell me what she's been up to and I love all the pictures and updates we receive through the app that they use. The food is excellent and the staff are brilliant at teaching my child to eat properly and to eat a variety of foods. My child loves all the activities and I always feel like she will be having an amazing day when I drop her off- a good feeling because I miss her so much during the day. I know she's learning and able to do wonderful activities we don't do at home. My older child (now in school) also loved Banana Moon and staff still greet her when we pick up the youngest! Both of our children attend Banana Moon and we are extremely pleased with the service they offer. All the staff are kind, attentive and helpful. They offer so many very varied activities for the children making nursery really fun! They make them nutritious meals and snacks which they love.
The whole

My son has had a great experience and did lots of different activities. The app was updated every day for our peace of mind. The members of the Mini Moons teams knew exactly how to settle him in such as his favourite toys and books and were able to summarise how he got on each day at pick up time. Highly

We have been so impressed with Banana Moon. The staff are approachable, helpful and knowledgeable. Communication is excellent. The app ensures that we get all the information we could possibly need in one place. They have well thought out systems to connect home learning and in the nursery, learning
to keep parents informed and involved. The provision in the Full Moon room has really suited our child. The mix of free flow and planned activities work very well. The food is excellent and they make the most of the outdoor space that is available.

This nursery has been a pleasure from the beginning! My daughter was a pandemic baby and premature she started this nursery at 8 months old and now is nearly 2, the way she has met all her milestones is amazing the constant care and attentiveness the staff offer is amazing! The staff will go the extra
mile for your child to make them feel comfortable, the app was a selling point for me it's updated throughout the day with constant pictures and videos as well as your child's daily routine! You have an assigned key worker for your child also and this has been a huge help and support for us! We have always felt safe and comforted knowing our child will be looked after and cared for in the best possible way! The activities they offer and freshly cooked meals are outstanding I have no single complaint about this nursery they are fabulous, thank you to all the staff for looking after my little one especially all the staff in baby moons!

Having placed my daughter here in May, I was nervous especially as she hadn't interacted with many children due to covid restrictions. From the first settling-in session I was at ease, you could tell the team genuinely cared for her and are very friendly and approachable. I feel that my daughter has
developed so much since starting here and it's great to see this and I love seeing all the activities she does during the day (via the app updates) as it's stuff I would never think to do with her.

Both my children have attended this nursery, and I’ve only had positive experiences. The staff are fantastic. They are genuinely friendly, attentive and caring. The app is brilliant and keeps me informed of my daughter's day and the fun activities provided. It’s hard leaving your child, but I know the

I am extremely happy I decided to send my little boy to this nursery. I feel he has grown so much in confidence since going to nursery and always has a big smile on his face when I pick him up! I love that all the staff seem to know his name - it shows me that they are a tight-knit community and take
the time to get to know all of the children under their care. The garden facilities are excellent and I love the fact that kids from different age groups can interact in the garden. They have been excellent in providing healthy, nutritious and varied food to my little boy, working around his intolerances, which I greatly appreciated. They have also made me feel involved and included in his care despite Covid and the limitations it has posed.

Recommended by others when I was applying for my daughters Nursey place.
I can’t say one bad word about this nursey, my daughter absolutely loves it here.
They’ve always got new activities daily, always learning about something new and they take great pride in ensuring the children are well cared
for and looked after.
Amazing range of breakfast, lunch and dinner choices for the children also.
Love having a look at what my daughter has been up to whilst at nursey also with the online portal.
I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family!
