Tresillian Nursery School is a purpose-built haven designed to nurture and inspire young minds. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough! Our daughter absolutely loves going in every day. The staff can’t do enough for the children and we are always kept well informed.

My children have both loved Daisy Fays in Tresillian since the first day they went. The staff are fantastic and always smiling. They genuinely love the children and create a fun and playful environment for them. The outside space is brilliant too and I love knowing they'll get a good quota of fresh
air. They really enjoy their snacks and meals which are healthy and varied. Thank you to everyone who works there!

This nursery has been and still is the best nursery that I have ever used. Not only do the staff make you feel welcome and able to approach them, my son loves it there, he goes in as clean as he comes out, he is always bringing work home, and you are kept up to date daily of everything he does, eats,
how long he sleeps etc. I would highly recommend it!

Daisy Fays is quite simply in a class of its own! As a new mum heading back to work, entrusting the care of your little one to someone else is a really difficult transition but from day one I have been reassured every step of the way. My little boy started at 8 months old and despite all my concerns
of leaving him, he settled in really quickly. This is testament to the fantastic team who have looked after him like gold dust. The team at Daisy Fays are welcoming, friendly, professional, and clearly love what they do which means that your little one can expect days full of fun, stimulation and playful learning but also a nurturing cuddle, quiet time and understanding if they are having an ‘off’ day. My son absolutely loves being at Daisy Fays. He is excited to get through the door in the morning and his social skills and confidence have come on leaps and bounds. An extremely well-run business from the bottom to the top. I would not hesitate in recommending as nowhere else will compare!

We have found the nursery really good! Our little girl started a year ago and is really shy however after the team helped build her confidence she now loves going and enjoys telling us what she has been doing and about her friends, she started in the baby room and is now in the toddlers and even as
a baby I felt safe leaving her there as the team are so friendly and good with the children and they tell you how the time at nursery has been, what they were doing and what they have or haven't eaten when you pick your little one up, plus you have the app which also keeps you informed about everything. If you ever need to talk to the team they have time to answer your questions.

My son started here last year and he absolutely loves it here. He is learning so much and loves all the staff here. It's brilliant as well that you can download an app and see what your child has been up to that day and also see pictures and notes. Definitely recommend Daisy Fays. The staff are always
so friendly and always happy to chat on collection and drop off.

My son started this nursery in September. After looking at several nurseries we knew this was the right one. After a few weeks of getting settled in, he now loves going to Daisy Fays three mornings a week. All the staff are soo friendly and are always helpful and have been soo welcoming. My little boy
gets excited about going to nursery now and always has a smile on his face when coming out. He's learnt soo much since starting Daisy Fays and I can't believe how much his speech has developed! The Eylog is amazing too, it's nice to be able to see what my son has eaten and know what he's done in the day. I would 100% recommend Daisy Fays.

We sent our boy to Tresillian Nursery at ten months old. He’s loved every minute of it. He gets to play outside every time and does all sorts of other activities inside. He’s made lots of friends too.
The staff are brilliant and are very approachable, every single one of them.
Also, they provide
all the food for mealtimes, which is a bonus as my boy gets to have a hot meal every day he’s there.

Could not recommend this nursery enough! My twins love coming here and the staff are so lovely. I love the EyLog they send through. It’s fantastic as tells you exactly what they’ve eaten, slept and what activities they have done that day. 5* from us.

Daisy Fays Nursery in Tresillian is absolutely fantastic. My son loves going to “school” there and I couldn’t ask for a better team looking after him. When he comes home from school, he is always full of stories about his day. It’s so reassuring knowing I can leave him in trusted hands and I genuinely
feel that each member of staff has a fantastic connection with him. To put it in my son's words “mum, I love my teachers and my friends”.
I can’t recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter has been attending this setting since January 2019 and has settled in so quickly. She comes home completely shattered but in the best way possible, she never talks about the nursery in a negative way at home. The staff are helpful and my daughter is always happy to go in. Our experience

I cannot articulate in words how fantastic this nursery is. My son loves Daisy Fay’s Tresillian and everyone in it. I had to keep him at home today as he’s been poorly overnight, needless to say, we had tears and a tantrum this morning because he was being kept away from the nursery.
As a mum, it’s
a huge reassurance to know he is safe, happy and I have trust in the staff implicitly in a fun nurturing environment.

Since starting nursery at 11 months old, my little girl's confidence has grown in leaps and bounds, and for this, I always praise her nursery. She is now 14 months old and always happy to go to nursery, never any tears, and when she comes home she is relaxed (and tired!) from her day. The app used to
let parents know what has happened that day is great. They have so many activities and games going on and a beautiful outdoor area for play, planting and looking after the guinea pigs!
She eats (everything!) a wonderfully varied diet and the nursery were absolutely brilliant with baby-led weaning.
I feel completely at ease with her going to nursery at Daisy Fays and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My little girl loves coming to Daisy Fays.

Returning to work after maternity leave was a big thing! But the team at Daisy Fays Tresillian and the excellent facilities there have made it such a great transition for us as a family. Our little one jumps out of our arms and into those of the team at nursery with a big smile on her face every morning!
We love that she comes home mucky having had a fun-filled day including lots of outdoor play! Communication is outstanding and we feel she has quality first care each day! Thank you Daisy Fays!

Lindsay Wood

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have worked at Daisy Fays for over 5 years now, starting as a nursery practitioner, then working my way up to Toddler room lead and then working my way up to Deputy Manager at Carnon Downs before taking on the manager role at Tresillian in February.


I am thoroughly enjoying being the manager here and feel there are lots of opportunities to develop my current knowledge and to be able to give the best for the children within our care! I am also the setting’s SENDCo which is another part of my role I enjoy; I love seeing the children meet their goals and watch them develop at their own pace! Outside of work I enjoy socialising with my friends, exploring new places and going out for food!

My journey at Daisy Fays Tresillian started just under 5 years ago I began as an apprentice and after completing my level 2 qualification, I became a toddler room leader which is still my current position. The opportunity arose for me to become deputy manager here at Tresillian I was keen to take it on board and thoroughly enjoyed working alongside my manager Lindsay. I recently completed my level 3 qualification as an Early Years Educator which helped me expand my knowledge within the setting.


Throughout my 5 years at Daisy Fays Tresillian I have seen many children grow into kind, caring and independent individuals it has been a great privilege to be part of those steps in their lives.


In my spare time, I enjoy taking my 4 dogs out for walks across the fields where I live and spending time at the beach watching the sunset.
