Fairfield's pre-school, known as Kindergarten, provides a caring, welcoming and happy environment for your child to take their first steps in school life. The friendly team of fully-qualified staff ensure that every child is known as the individual that they are and take the time to get to know their interests and strengths.

Situated within its own safe and secure environment, the pre-school setting benefits from multiple purpose-built outdoor spaces, an immersive sensory room and an exciting Forest School. Children enjoy a range of lessons in subjects such as Yoga, Music, Singing, PE and Modern Foreign Languages and interact with subject specialist staff on a regular basis.

The Kindergarten encourages children to learn about the world around them and begin to build relationships with peers and staff members. Through exploration and play, children begin to develop their own identity and staff take pride in playing a part in their development. Each child is assigned a 'Key Person' (class teacher) who ensures that the Kindergarten collaborates closely with parents to enable a smooth transition into school life.

I have the role of introducing your child to the start of their learning journey through Fairfield. We have a fantastic time in Kindergarten and take part in many amazing activities including Forest School, Yoga, PE, Modern Foreign Languages and Music which are all taught by specialist teachers.
