Monkey Puzzle Eltham is a brand new children's day nursery offering full day care and half day care sessions, to children aged 3 months up to 5 years.

The nursery is part of an award-winning nursery group and proud to provide high-quality childcare and excellent facilities.

Open times: Monday - Friday from 7.30 am - 6.30 pm, 51 weeks of the year. (Closed on Bank holidays and 1 week at Christmas)

Offering full daycare from 7.30 am - 6.30 pm as well as half day sessions. The morning session is from 7.30 am - 1.00 pm and the afternoon session is from 1.00pm - 6.30pm.

Funded sessions are also available.

My son joined Monkey Puzzle Eltham in February 2020, for a couple of days a week, in the baby room. He struggled to settle in at first but as we started to turn a corner the pandemic hit. After being at home for 3 months, I was anxious about him returning, however, the staff at Monkey Puzzle were ever
so helpful and reassuring and together, we agreed he would return but move into the toddler room. Best decision ever. He came on in leaps and bounds within a matter of a few weeks, his key worker and other staff in the toddler room are fantastic and my son loves all of them. It’s so wonderful to watch him jump with excitement, as we arrive each morning. My son will soon be moving up to the pre-school room and as much as it is daunting, I’m really excited for him to make the move and to watch him grow in confidence. All the staff I’ve had interaction with, are polite and always happy to go above and beyond to help. A big thank you to Monkey Puzzle.

My granddaughter has been attending Monkey Puzzle for almost six months. I am so impressed with the quality of care she receives. She shows visible excitement when arriving at the nursery and she is hitting her targets well ahead of her predictions. The songs she recognises and the actions she does
to the songs are so cute 'Wind the Bobbin Up' being her favourite.
All the staff behave in an extremely professional way and are child-centred, they take time to listen to me if I need to discuss her and are extremely good and giving feedback at the end of her day at Monkey Puzzle.
I cannot thank the staff enough for giving my granddaughter a safe, happy and nurturing environment to ensure she thrives.

I've got nothing but good things to say about Monkey Puzzle Eltham. My 2-year-old absolutely loves going to nursery, always full of smiles at drop off and pick up. I feel completely comfortable leaving him knowing he's having lots of fun, learning lots and feels loved and cared for. Daily communication
is always thorough, as are the periodic developmental reviews and monthly newsletters. The activities are fantastic, much more imaginative than we could do at home!
The staff are all warm and fun and clearly genuinely care for the children which is the most important thing in my opinion.

I have been using Monkey Puzzle for a year and ultimately, I'm happy for my child to still be there. The kids seem happy and mine is always smiling when they come out. The room teams and management are quick to respond to concerns and help with development plans if needed. I particularly appreciate
the daily books outlining what they've done for the day.

My daughter was so nervous to start nursery after turning 3 in September, especially after such a long time of not seeing other children during lockdown. All of the staff have been fantastic, they have comforted her and made her feel safe, after just a few weeks, she has already made new friends and
there are no more tears, I am confident that soon she’ll be running to go in the door.
Couldn’t have asked for a better team than the staff here.

My son has attended the nursery since the baby room and is now in the pre-school room, he always comes back smiling and his key workers have all been amazing in all rooms. The nursery is very well organised and informative. I cannot wait for when my 2nd son starts soon in the baby room in a few weeks.

I cannot express how amazing this nursery is, my son is now in the toddler room and he absolutely loves it. He has learnt so much and we are amazed when he comes home expressing what he’s learnt.
The staff are just incredible, they make a real effort to inform us at the end of the day how our child
has been and are always warm and welcoming.
With Covid, the management of following guidelines and creating a process by the management team has been very comforting for us parents knowing our children are in a safe environment.
I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was 10 months old, he will be 2 in April and is moving to the toddler's room. I have never had any problems with the staff or the nursery. Any queries I have had, they were dealt with immediately and professionally. Most of the staff really make an effort
to update you with your child's daily activity and development which I find very satisfying. I highly recommend this nursery. Thank you for taking care of our son.

My son started here after we moved to the area just before the first lockdown started. He used to be so afraid and cry before going into his old nursery and it would be so hard for me to leave him in such a state. Since starting here at Monkey Puzzle, Eltham, he has grown into a bright, outgoing and
helpful little boy. He comes home daily happy and fills me in on all the fun he has had during the day. I couldn’t fault the staff at all. Any issues we have had have been addressed and we’re sorted straight away. A special appreciation is needed for my son's key worker who he had formed a close bond with and will speak about her days after being at nursery. He will be leaving to start school in September and I am sure his amazing experience here will make him confident in starting reception in a few months. Thank you to all at Monkey Puzzle.

My son has settled in so well. He even smiles as we approach the door. It was daunting for me as a first time mum leaving my baby at the nursery but the staff team are phenomenal. It is obvious they enjoy their jobs and enjoy working with one another. I didn't need to think about my baby while at work
as I know he is in good hands. Thank you so much Monkey Puzzle. I can't recommend you enough.

I have never left a review for anywhere before but I wanted to leave this to say how incredible this nursery is for any parents/carers out there that may be nervously searching for nurseries for their little ones. My daughter started here at 18 months and I was extremely nervous about leaving her in
a new place where we didn't know anybody but I am so, so pleased I took the chance on Monkey Puzzle. The staff are fantastic. My daughter moved up to a new room this summer and it has been the making of her. She used to be incredibly upset at drop off as she was very, very attached to me. The staff have shown so much patience, warmth and reassurance and have done and said all of the right things to build her confidence, gain her trust and reassure me. I have gone from peeling my little one off of me to her running into nursery happy and waving me goodbye. She has a great bond with all of the ladies that work in her room, the office and is making friends and learning lots in the process.

My son starting attending Monkey Puzzle at 11 months old. I found this extremely difficult due to separation issues. However, the managers and staff made me feel at ease by reassuring me, giving me regular feedback, sending home images of my son whilst enjoying his time at nursery and learning new things.


My

son has now transitioned into the next room and he absolutely loves it and the staff too! This nursery has helped my son develop confidence, social skills and they undergo many activities which I can see he is learning from day to day!


Highly recommend!

When my daughter started here at 11 months old we both found it very difficult. However, the staff have been incredible with her and now 5 months on she is engaged, confident and excited to be at nursery!
Her development has been huge and it’s always lovely to get little cards, cakes or paintings
that she has completed.
Staff are always friendly and let you know verbally about your child’s day - not just relying on her diary.
I have been really happy that we made the decision to send her to this nursery.

Our son has been at the nursery since the opening last year. He moved through the rooms with ease and excitement and is now in preschool where he enjoys lots of different activities. The staff are so good with him, they are incredibly caring and communicate everything we need to know. Knowing he is
safe, eating well, enjoying the fresh air, learning, interacting with his friends and enjoying himself under the care of this nursery makes our time away from him at work a lot easier.

My daughter started at this nursery when she was 11 months old and she was VERY attached to me so naturally, I was anxious about her starting, especially a new nursery where I didn't know anyone. As expected, my daughter did struggle in her first couple of weeks but her key workers listened and found
the ways to distract her, she likes cuddles and loves music and singing songs, and now she loves her nursery days. She is a very, happy, confident, daring little girl and I feel her nursery setting only adds to that.

Wonderful nursey. All the staff are lovely and made me feel really comfortable about my daughter going to nursey for the first time. From our daughter's first settling in day, we knew we had selected the right nursery for us.
The staff are truly exceptional and they all care so much for the children they are responsible for. Every day, our daughter is engaged in a range of different activities tailored to the age of the children
and the developmental needs identified for them. I am staggered by the variety of activities the children do and I am always excited to discover what my daughter has done. The food is prepared fresh on the premises each day by the nursery's onsite chef. I am staggered by the wealth of options the children have.
Our daughter has progressed from the baby room to the toddler room and will soon be in the preschool room of the nursery. My wife and I could not be happier with the pace of our daughter's development and it is clear to see the relationships she has with the staff at the nursery that she is very happy there. As a teacher, I can also commend the nursery's safeguarding procedures.

I have a BTEC National Diploma in childcare and education and have worked within the childcare industry for the past 16 years.


I have a vast amount of experience when it comes to running a nursery setting and I am extremely passionate about providing high standards of care and education to children.
I am also a mother myself to two young children, both of whom attended nursery settings during their earlier years. I therefore appreciate first hand, from a parent’s perspective, the importance of meeting children’s needs through providing a nurturing, high quality setting full of unique and wonderful learning opportunities.


I will also be a hands-on manager at Eltham and am very keen to work in partnership with parents as well as build relationships within the local community.

I have worked alongside my husband, in the Health and Safety industry, running our own Fire Protection company for the last 25 years.


Alongside offering a high standard of care and education to all children, high standards of health and safety within the nursery setting will always be our main objectives.
I have a huge amount of experience in accounts and HR and I am looking forward to working closely with the nursery staff and in partnership with parents and visitors to the nursery.
