Kids Planet Great Sankey is a brand new nursery opening in Summer 2018. The nursery will undergo a complete refurbishment and remodel of the existing 19th Century Church Hall. The nursery will benefit from large spacious rooms, a state of the art sensory room and a brand new outside garden area.

My child can be very anxious when going into nursery, the staff always notice when my child is having this moment and straight away jump in to support us and my child.
Both of my boys have attended this nursery and I can never recommend it enough. The team always greet us and are always available to
help or chat.
It's very clear that this nursery's mission is to be here for the kids as a priority and help them grow and learn.

Kids Planet has been an absolute pleasure. The job they do can never be summarised in words. I am with them since 2016 and across 2 different sites as well. The quality of care and compassionate care has never been compromised. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

An amazing nursery. Amazing staff, provision, ideas and caring staff. My child has tried at this nursery with the help of the staff and is more than ready for school now, and he wouldn't have been without them. We love this nursery so much! I have been very happy with the care shown towards my daughter. It normally takes my child a while to warm to people but she's been coming into nursery with a smile on her face and willingly going to her key worker.
I love the daily updates we get and the activities they do are fantastic.
Would highly

The nursery is set up well and managed to a high standard. There is always a lovely vibe entering the nursery and you are met by lots of friendly and helpful staff. I have 2 children who attend and both love going to nursery.

Absolutely amazing nursery and preschool setting. Both our children have attended. The staff in every room are fantastic and have genuinely lovely bonds with all the children. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Our children have thrived thanks to the love and care given at Kids Planet Great Sankey.

Over the moon with all the staff at Kids Planet Great Sankey. My child's personality has blossomed since attendance began and that in large is down to the lovely girls who take care of her Mon-Fri. My child rarely wants to leave!

We had a good feeling about this nursery when we first looked around it, and our daughter had been attending there (COVID permitting) since she was around 11 months old (now nearly 3!). It doesn't matter which room you are in (or just visiting the office!), all the staff are friendly and treat you like
part of the family. Our little girl is always telling us about her 'best friends' from nursery (staff and other children!). The rooms themselves always look lovely - yes they aren't always tidy! But they are played with/in and full of smiles. The activities she takes part in look great fun, we love the 'moments' we can see on the app which show us what she is up to and she often comes home with drawings/things she has made (including birthday cards or get well soon cards that the staff have worked on with her). We are so glad we chose the Great Sankey Kid's Planet, having seen our daughter really blossom there.

Amazing. Can not fault the whole team here at Great Sankey Kids Planet, from the beginning of my two children’s time here the whole process has been great from amazing inductions into the nursery to the daily updates you receive about your child, they really go out of their way to ensure you still don’t
miss your child’s achievements. As a parent it’s the worst feeling leaving your child somewhere you don’t know at first. But I can honestly say this is the safest/most nurturing environment I could have expected and the whole team has gone above and beyond my level of expectations. You're all amazing, keep up the good work.

My son loves going to nursery. They do lots of fun activities to aid learning and development. They have good structure and routines to his day. All the staff are so friendly and open to feedback to put your mind at rest that your child is in good hands. The facilities are amazing, providing my child

My little girl is in the toddler room, she recently has broken her leg and the girls have been so supportive. They have been keeping in contact with me to see how my daughter is and offering support when she returns. She returned this week and I received updates from the team throughout the day, I was
sent pictures which really put my mind at ease as she wasn’t in nursery for 5 weeks. My daughter absolutely loves going into nursery and making new friends.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The nursery itself is excellent! The outdoor area has lots of toys for the children to play with including water activities and sand.
Education is fantastic and my daughter has come on loads since joining nursery. I would highly recommend Kids Planet.

Our son has been going to Kids Planet for a year now and he absolutely loves it. The team are amazing with him and he has really progressed since he started. We have just registered our newborn to start next year and he's only 3 weeks old! We highly recommend Kids Planet and regularly recommend them

We moved our daughter to Kid’s Planet from another nursery and our son has also been attending for the past few months. We are so happy with our decision to choose this nursery for our children and cannot praise the staff enough for all their constant hard work. Our children love their time at nursery
and we get regular updates about how our children are doing through the app and by talking to the staff. They know our children very well and the nursery are always planning fun activities and experiences for the children to help extend their learning. Our children have made so much progress in their short time already and come home very happy each day.

Our family absolutely love this nursery!
My little boy is currently in the baby room, and he loves every minute of it. The staff are lovely, not only in the baby room but throughout the whole nursery. The way the staff care for the children is outstanding. Every time I go in they are always willing
to answer any questions I have and nothing is too much to ask for. My son loves going into nursery, me and his dad can see how excited he gets going in, and absolutely loves the girls.
The environment is very homely and inviting. The toys and activities are brilliant and he always seems like he has lots of fun, which is great as I can’t do half the ‘messy play’ they do here at home.
I am always kept up to date through the app. His key worker and other staff are very good at logging everything down on the app and they do plenty of observations which is great, as a parent I love to see what he’s been up to and it’s very comforting.
Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

I recently did my settling in days for my daughter. Everyone has been so good and made us all feel welcome. My daughter has only been started for a few days and absolutely loves it. She comes home super happy and jolly and has said she loves her dinners. I love the way they really care about wanting
to support with the toilet training too, which really supports me. A beautiful nursery with lovely friendly staff. Thanks so much.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Alex has over 10 years’ experience within early years and has worked as a deputy manager since 2020. She has joined Great Sankey in May 2024 as the Nursery Manager. Alex is extremely passionate about delivering a high standard of care and teaching to the children and building strong links with our families and local community. Alex has two children herself with a great passion for outdoors & nature based learning and strives for children to learn and thrive in all environments.
