My First Friends Droitwich is a nursery that embraces the great outdoors, nestled in the beautiful woodland of Droitwich. The setting takes pride in providing children with a stimulating environment for learning and development while encouraging outdoor play, come rain or shine. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The 'Dreamers' room, situated upstairs, caters to the youngest children up to about 16 months, with three adjoining rooms designed to offer ample space and natural light. Connected to this room is the 'Discoverers' room, catering to children aged from about 16 months to 2 years old. Both rooms are equipped with a range of equipment designed to encourage walking and promote steady development.

The 'Explorers' room is for children aged around 2 to 3 years old and is divided into four smaller areas, allowing the team to focus on the individual developmental needs of each child. The Pre-School area for children aged around 3 to 4 years old is split into three smaller rooms, providing plenty of space for children to learn and grow.

The garden area is equipped with an allotment where children can learn about sustainable living through planting and growing their own food. The garden also includes a play park situated within a vast woodland area on the nursery grounds. Here, children can enjoy a range of child-friendly equipment, including a sandpit, construction area, firepit, mud kitchen, and a bug hotel, affectionately known in the nursery as 'Buggingham Palace.' This setting provides an outdoor classroom for children to connect with nature and enjoy learning in a unique environment.

Great staff, love the kids which makes leaving them easier.
Management always helpful & sensitive to needs.
Would love more photos for our daughter has been better in last few weeks.
I'm sure she does loads of activities & goes outside lots so love to see (but appreciate you are hands-on with babies).

I can't give this nursery enough positive feedback! The manager and her whole team are the most incredible people, always putting the children at the heart of everything they do. They always do everything they can to support both the children and parents!
The rooms are all kept clean and tidy with
lots of exciting toys and well-planned activities and natural light, giving the children the best environment. The room leaders and other staff members are always so attentive to my child's needs and I really feel like they all genuinely love and care for him as much as I do and do everything they can to help him succeed!
They do such an amazing job at keeping me up to date through the app about everything my son gets up to throughout the day.
My son has been with this nursery since he was 9/10 months old (he is now 2) and I have never had a bad experience with any aspect of the nursery or the team. My son is always happy and excited to go to nursery here and I can't ask for much more!

Excellent nursery with very professional staff.
Son is always happy in clean clothes and nappy at the end of the day where you get a handover to explain everything they've done throughout the day.
The app is extremely useful and staff update it regularly throughout the day with pictures and descriptions
of activities and meals.

My First Friends have gone above and beyond to care for my son since he started. The staff are genuinely invested in the children and they always greet him with a huge smile. My son has additional needs which nursery have been fantastic in meeting and keeping us informed of progress and changes to his

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough! They have always been so accommodating and so kind and nurturing with my daughter. There was a medical emergency with my little girl and they were incredible! They went above and beyond and then some - when I fell apart. My daughter always comes out happy and
always looks forward to going. The handovers are always thorough and informative and the app used to keep in contact during the day always provides us with some much-loved photos of her day. We will be forever grateful to My First Friends Droitwich for everything they have ever done for us as a family and our little girl too.

I highly recommend My First Friends Droitwich. It has been a fantastic start to our daughter’s life when she has been allowed to thrive, learn, socialise and develop.
The staff are caring, nurturing and supportive. The setting is lovely, with a large outdoor area, facilities which suit all the different
ages, and often extracurricular activities. The activities they do allow the children to learn but have fun at the same time. Our daughter has been going here since 10 months, she goes in happily, and talks about what she has been up to at home which speaks volumes. She adores her key person and they are someone we trust and feel so comfortable around.
We are very happy here.

Since attending from the age of 2, our son’s confidence and social skills have come leaps and bounds. He is kept entertained and stimulated each day with multiple activities. He is provided with a tasty balanced menu and never seems hungry when he comes home. The staff provide a snapshot view of the
day at pickup as well as a note and photos on a parent app. We rest assured every day we drop him off that he is in safe and capable hands. We couldn’t be happier with his care at My First Friends.

Just fantastic. Supportive, lovely and nurturing staff that really build lovely relationships with the little ones. It has a fantastic indoor and outdoor environment, with lots of experiences and activities to explore. Lovely, wide range of food provided and real fruit and veg provided for play also.
The app keeps you up to date with your little one throughout the day, with photos and comments. I really could not ask for a better place for my son to spend his time exploring and learning. Thank you all, you're amazing!

My son started nursery at the very end of May, when he was just shy of 11 months old. He absolutely loves going to nursery and seeing his key person! He gets excited to see different members of staff when they come to collect him in the morning. This makes leaving for work guilt-free! On the off chance
he isn't happy to be leaving me, a couple of photos of him settled are uploaded to the app within 30 minutes or so. He has developed so much over the past month and we 100% put it down to all the wonderful activities he gets to take part in. He has had so many incredible experiences such as stroking and playing with ducklings; riding into the town in a baby bus and napping in the woodland. I could not be happier with our experience so far, I recommend this to any parent looking for a nursery. Thank you for caring for him so well!

The staff are all so friendly and professional, the manager in particular goes above and beyond to help support us, with work commitments.
My Son absolutely loves going, he’s happy every time we arrive.
The staff treat the children like their own and I always feel well informed when I pick up my
son on what he’s done, eaten etc.
I cannot fault this nursery, My First Friends Droitwich is like a little family in its own.

The staff are amazing at My First Friends and we are always greeted with lots of warm welcomes. They really persevered helping our baby settle in when he first started as he struggled to adjust - 6 months on he has such the best time there! Lots of variety in activities and the outdoor garden space
is just fantastic. Would absolutely highly recommend this nursery.

Great nursery. Really pleased with it.

My First Friends Droitwich. My child attends three days a week and soon starts their next journey onto reception at first school we can not recommend enough how far our child has come along since joining My First Friends, their confidence has bloomed, as has her speech, skills and development.
The
nursery is welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond for the children in their care, and not only do the staff make learning fun children learn so much in preparation for their school years ahead.
As parents, we highly recommend this nursery setting to anyone looking to take this step for their children to start at a great nursery.

Care of the children is to an excellent standard. Cannot fault the nursery staff, always very helpful, thoughtful and brilliant with the kids.
Unfortunately, the running of the business is what lets the nursery down. Still being charged £17.20 per day in addition to wrap-around costs (with the full
30 free hours being claimed) is the worst part. How the nursery justifies this I don’t know. Having to still pay the £17.20 (which covers suncream, nappies, food etc) when the nursery isn’t even open (bank holidays) I find absolutely barmy. I understand why people chose other nurseries (who charge around £20 for the whole month for food and other additional costs). This is a shame because the actual nursery is excellent and the kids love it.

The Additional Service Charge covers items which are not covered by the Government funding scheme, such as the cost of meals, nappies (where applicable), extra activities and suncream etc, as well as continuous staff training so that we are able to continue to provide high-quality childcare to you and your family. The EYE Code of Practice recognises the need for this which can be found by searching for ‘Early Education and Childcare Statutory Guidance’.

My daughter has settled really well into the dreamer's room which is all down to the fantastic staff who are so caring. From day one we have felt welcomed at the nursery and I know that she is well looked after during the day which makes leaving her so much easier.
We love seeing all the activities
that she gets involved in and she comes home so happy every day. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking.
