Overall Experience

Our daughter started at Monkey Puzzle Nursery when she was just 8 months old, and now at 25 months, we couldn't be happier with the experience. The nursery has truly become a second home for her. Every morning, we're greeted with a warm, friendly welcome, which immediately puts both us and our daughter

at ease. It's the little touches like this that really set Monkey Puzzle apart. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care for the children, creating a nurturing environment where our daughter has thrived.
A special mention goes to the manager, who has been outstanding. He's incredibly flexible and accommodating, always working with us to ensure everything runs smoothly. His leadership, combined with the team's dedication, creates a family-like atmosphere that makes us feel confident our daughter is in the best hands.
We've seen our daughter grow in confidence and curiosity, and we can't recommend Monkey Puzzle enough. It's a wonderful, supportive nursery.

My son has attended Monkey Puzzle since he was 18 months old, and now at 4 years old, he is ready to start school this September. Born during the challenging pandemic period, he had limited interaction with other children, making him quite anxious. From our initial visit to enrolling, the staff were

incredibly supportive and attentive to all our questions. My son quickly adapted to the warm, safe environment. In the baby room, his confidence soared, and his development flourished, thanks to feedback via the app and conversations at pick-up time, which helped us continue his progress at home. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, honest, and always cheerful. My son has bonded well with all the staff and holds them in high regard. I'd like to personally thank everyone at Monkey Puzzle for making my first experience with childcare/nursery assistance a smooth one!

My daughter has attended this nursery for a year and every single day she looks forward to going in. Being a full-time working mother is not easy, having to leave your child all day in a setting is not easy but knowing they enjoy their day every day is a heavy weight lifted off my shoulders. I can’t

stress how amazing the team are at Monkey Puzzle, Muswell Hill. And how much easier they make this journey for me and my daughter. The care they give, the happiness they greet us with, activities the lot. My daughter has learned so much whilst attending. The staff are extremely friendly, understanding, very kind and I couldn’t have possibly chosen a better setting. Thank you Nursery Manager, Assistant Manager and all the others that help my daughter on a daily basis! Thank you for all the support you have given our family. I will highly recommend this nursery and wish I could give 100 stars.

Good nursery, staff are friendly and kind. My daughter attended up until around a year ago and my son now attends, it’s important for me to know that when my kids are at nursery not only are they in a safe environment but they are being given good opportunities to learn and progress and every time I

look on the app my son is doing a new/interactive activity which gives me peace of mind. Also, every member of staff I have met since both my daughter and son attended has been polite, professional and always seems to have the kid's development as their main priority which is great. Both of my two that have attended have always come home happy and we never had a problem since day one.

My son has been attending this nursery since March 2023 and has grown so fond of it. He is always looking forward to attending.
Unfortunately he will be leaving at the end of the month and will miss it so much.
The staff have been so warm, observant loving and caring.

We had such a great experience at Monkey Puzzle Muswell Hill. All the staff and managers are so attentive and caring. They definitely go above and beyond and we were always made to feel so welcome. Our son really enjoyed his time there. He joined at age 3 and went straight into the preschool room. It

was the first time he'd been to nursery but he settled in almost immediately. The settling-in process was so well thought through. We were made to feel so at ease, which is really important. I loved receiving regular updates on his progress and general wellbeing throughout the day too. It was so reassuring to know how he was getting on. I would highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Muswell Hill.

We are so happy with the level of care at Monkey Puzzle Muswell Hill. Both my children have been so well looked after and have both taken to the nursery straight away. There is a real sense of family and a strong team bond, all staff show so much love to my children and I never worry about leaving them

for the day as I know they have the best time and are in very safe hands. My children love all the activities, trips and especially the food! I can't thank the team enough for seeing my eldest from baby room through to the end of preschool, he will miss you all so much. This is a fantastic nursery and we think all the staff are amazing, thank you for looking after my boys so well!

We absolutely Love the Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Muswell Hill team and we are not quite sure any other nursery would ever compare to their level of service, care and commitment. We joined just after the pandemic and we were obviously a bit anxious about putting our child in a new environment after having

experienced lockdown for so long. Within the space of a week, our fears vanished by seeing how much she was thriving and loving being there. All the staff - thank you for what you do with extraordinary love and care, and for giving us peace of mind every single day. We are so happy that our new little one will get to also experience that. The nursery manager - a true organisation king! We are not quite sure how he can make everything run so smoothly amidst the chaos! Thanks for being so helpful whenever we've needed anything over the years. Monkey Puzzle feels like family to us and we could not have asked more from a care provider! Thank you!

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Muswell Hill is an amazing nursery. The staff and managers are extremely friendly, lovely and work far and beyond for the children. My little boy is currently there and he absolutely loves it. My eldest son also went there too, and he always says he wants to go visit Monkey

Nursery which is so lovely to hear. I always tell my friends about the nursery whenever they are looking for one, cannot recommend it enough.

Our daughter who is a pre-schooler attended Monkey Puzzle Muswell Hill for around 9 months but the bond she has built with her teachers and the nursery is incredible. In addition to this, me and my wife can easily observe that her social, cognitive and physical skills have significantly improved during

her time with the nursery and she is more than ready for her Reception Year thanks to Monkey Puzzle Muswell Hill. The professionals of the nursery genuinely care about every single child within the nursery and they do not hesitate to take the extra mile for the children which was beyond our expectations. Therefore, we would highly recommend their services to any parents who are in need of childcare services for their children.

We couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. Our experience has met our expectations and more, the staff have all been incredibly kind and welcoming at all times. As for our daughter - she has come on leaps and bounds in the baby room. "The proof is in the pudding." She wants to go to nursery and

comes home so happy. She even calls the names of the staff and her friends at home which is so lovely and reassuring.

Overall Experience

My daughter who has just turned 4 has attended this nursery since she was 10 months old and she absolutely loves it! We couldn’t be any happier with the care, education, and support provided from the nursery and it’s wonderful staff. It feels like one big family, the staff are amazing, approachable,

nurturing and always smiling and going out of their way to help with anything anyone needs. When you walk in, you can see how much the children adore the staff and how much the staff adore them. It’s always clean and tidy and the resources provided are great! I highly recommend this nursery and give it 10/10. I know my daughter will greatly miss it when she leaves for big school.

My daughter lovers her nursery and the care delivered by staff is exceptional from what we have experienced so far. It was a difficult decision to go back to work full time and pick/find a nursery that provided that reassurance and felt safe and secure. As a parent you want to know you've made the right

Overall Experience

My 3 year old loves it at Monkey Puzzle. He attends 3 days a week, and the days he doesn’t attend he asks if he can go!
The staff are amazing, and the communication between staff/parents is very good!
The activities they do are very well thought out, and you can see the effort that goes into them

to make sure each child learns and enjoys from them as well as lots of fun outings that they go on.

Highly recommend Monkey Puzzle. They have been amazing with my 3-year-old, and seeing how much he has blossomed in the past year he has been there has been lovely and I can’t thank them enough for their hard work and dedication to what they do every day.

We are very pleased with the nursery. We started when my son turned 7 months and he was happy going there since then. The team is very friendly, experienced, responsive and loving! Very professional and great to work with. There are a lot of activities that keep my son interested and occupied. It helps

his development and we are very happy with it. Nursery organise a lot of events e.g. puppets theatres, story reading etc; activities e.g. messy plays, drawing, puzzling; they take kids for walks outside nursery to discover surroundings and learn interesting and educational things e.g. recycling. We feel safe to leave our son there and we know he will be in safe hands. We highly recommend this nursery!

Overall Experience

You expect from a private and small nursery to receive the highest standards ever but in our case. Our experience wasn't one that I was expected. I give two stars just because some members of staff were doing their job properly.
You should update your website, some of the qualified staff are not working

there and now some of the current staff are not trained enough to look after children and many more which I can't explain in one simple review. If you try to point out your opinion or mistakes they turn around and roll their eyes instead of coming up with a solution. Not enough experience in staff and I don't see the passion in working with children. My opinion. My child was supposed to have a two-year review and he didn't have it. My child didn't learn anything apart from the education that he received at home. We did not have a good experience and maybe was a sign to move my child from there.

I am sorry that your experience at the nursery did not meet your expectations. Our website is currently being rebranded by our head office and so we didn’t update it in February with details of staff changes. However we have taken your feedback on board and it now shows the current staffing team, including staff who are on maternity leave. In our reception area, we have photos and short biographies of all staff which is updated on a weekly basis and on a daily basis and we have a display board at the entrance of the nursery There are strict rules set by Ofsted around staffing ratios and qualifications that all nurseries must meet and we have always fulfilled these standards. All children must have a 2 year review that takes place between 26 to 36 months. We need enough observations to complete this accurately, so a child who has been in our setting for a shorter period of time will have the review towards the end of this timeframe. I apologise if this hasn’t been communicated to you.

I am super happy with Monkey Puzzle Muswell Hill. Initially, my son attended this nursery when it first opened (he is in school now, just finished reception) and now I have my little daughter there. All the staff is very friendly and the management team rocks. I strongly recommend this nursery to any

parent that wants their kids to be taken good care of and at the same time being involved in so many educational and fun activities.
Every morning my daughter looks so much forward to going to the nursery which is a great indicator of what a great place it is for the kids!

Overall Experience

My Son has attended Monkey Puzzle since it opened when he was 10 months old, he is now 3 and has just moved into the preschool room. This morning he was singing "I love nursery, I love nursery!" He asks me what day it is every morning so he can find out if its a preschool day or not.
The staff are

fantastic, caring, kind, nurturing and always have smiles on their faces, they go out of their way to always be as helpful as possible.
Nursery use a fantastic app called Famly to keep us updated and I love getting daily posts and photos of my Son happily playing with his peers.
Highly recommended this nursery to anybody with young children.
