Little Rascals Pre-Prep is situated in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells, on Clanricarde Gardens.

The Pre-Prep is housed in a stunning Edwardian converted house and is located only a short walk from Tunbridge Wells train station.

The Pre-Prep is split over two floors with the younger children on the lower floor. When developmentally ready, children transition to the upper floor.

Activities are play-based and centred around school readiness and preparing the children for the next big milestone in their development and learning.

The Pre-Prep has an outside play area where children explore and discover the natural world around them. This provides countless opportunities for the children to investigate the awe and wonder of outdoor learning.

The Pre-Prep also offers extra-curricular activities for children which include Phonics sessions and community visits to help children experience social activities outside the nursery setting.

I would highly recommend the Little Rascals Pre-Prep to anyone who needs it. My child is really happy going there. The staff is very kind, helpful, supportive, always being happy and smiling. They always pay attention to every detail. Activity is different every week. Food is prepared daily and it is
according to the needs of the children. Facilities, equipment and learning are at a very high level.

We have just moved down from London and I was quite nervous about settling my daughter into a new pre-school. From day one, everyone at Little Rascals has been so welcoming and friendly and my daughter is really happy there and already making new friends. I couldn't recommend Little Rascals more to
anyone who is considering sending their child there.

The nursery fosters a really magical environment for my daughter to explore, learn and make friends. We would highly recommend Little Rascals Pre-Prep. The team of educators and the management are professional, warm, energetic and caring, their enthusiasm is fantastic. Our son loves going to Little Rascals and looks forward to his days there, coming back full of stories of all the activities and games
they play. We've been very impressed with the bond, quickly made between our son and his key worker, and how quickly the key worker had the measure of him. He has really grown in confidence and developed his language skills since joining Little Rascals. It's a fabulous setting!
In addition to the above comments, I need to mention that upon return from the lockdown period during the Covid-19 health crisis, the team at Little Rascals were brilliant with their communication and their confidence in welcoming the children back, taking away a huge element of worry at this anxious time and projecting nothing but confidence and comfort and a great big welcome back!

Such a fabulous nursery, the staff are fantastic, giving great care and attention to the children and the food is healthy and nutritious - they’ve introduced our little girl to foods she would never have eaten at home! The nursery is great at celebrating all different cultures and religions (we are
not religious but want our daughter to have this knowledge and understanding). Highly recommend the nursery and staff!

I can not recommend Little Rascals enough. Both of my children have been there and it has been like a home from home for both of them. The care is outstanding, the staff are kind and nurturing and go out of their way to do everything they can for everyone. Both my children have been so so happy there
and I will be so sad when my son leaves to go to school. The children learn so much there, make lovely friends and are so well looked after. I would recommend to everyone.

What a fantastic nursery. My son absolutely loves going here and feels really at home in his surroundings. The staff are all excellent, well trained and friendly people who I have no worries about leaving my son with them. He is learning and growing at a fantastic rate.

Of all the things to ask someone to do, and do well, looking after your child must be one of the most important. If I had my time again I would choose Little Rascals in Tunbridge Wells for my two children over and over. I would recommend Little Rascals to anyone. I am thrilled that my son goes there,
and sad that my daughter had to leave for school. This place grows children in the most caring, sensitive, fun and very much loving way possible. On days that my son is sad to be left he runs into the arms of the staff for cuddles. The place is managed with professionalism while treating each child and family personally. We can't thank Little Rascals staff enough for looking after our children so well - the child is the centre of their every action.

My daughter loves going to preschool and she doesn't want to leave In the evening. Everybody is very professional, friendly, caring, inclusive and attentive to each individual child's needs. I highly recommend this preschool!

Really recommend this nursery, I feel my son has improved massively in all areas since joining. The staff are all very polite and professional and are always welcoming. My son is always happy and looks forward to going to pre-prep every day.

I am so pleased we chose Little Rascals for my son. He has been attending the PrePrep for a couple of months now and I love how much his speech has progressed and his vocabulary increased.
I know he has a lot of fun there which is very reassuring.
And of course, the staff has always been super supportive

Our daughter has settled in really well to pre-prep, the staff are excellent and seem really committed to the children and their roles. We moved from another nursery less than a year ago and have been really impressed with the play equipment, resources and friendly, genuine staff.
The new pre-prep
set up has been well thought out and my daughter is thriving under their care and attention. I always love to hear about the fun activities they get up to and the play tables look very inviting and inspiring for the little ones. I also enjoy seeing the examples of their creations and the front steps and porch are very welcoming with their interactive displays. A lot of love and attention goes into running the nursery.

My brother sees Little Rascals as a home from home. He is always excited to attend and see what new adventures await him. On returning home he is always eager to share his work and experiences with the whole family; he always speaks so fondly of all the staff. He has grown and developed so much over
the last year, he even teaches me new things!
Whenever I come to collect my brother I am always made to feel so welcome both by the manager and the room staff, it is always such a lovely atmosphere. The new resources have had such a positive impact on his learning, he couldn't ask for more.

My son has really gained confidence from attending here and always leaves at the end of the day in such a great little mood. The staff are lovely and communicative and you can tell they genuinely love their jobs and have great relationships with the children. On the admin side of things they have been
very accommodating to our changing circumstances and have gone out of their way to give advice regarding local schools/activities etc as we were new to the area when our son started.

Bryony Chapman

Bryony has worked at Little Rascals since 2017, working her way up from nursery practitioner to Pre-Prep Manager.
She has loved working with all of the age groups through the nursery and Pre-Prep and loves getting messy and crafty with the children.


She has a BA(Hons) degree in Childhood and Youth studies and Educational studies.

Raechal has worked at Little Rascals since 2022. She joined the team as part of the management team and brings with her 10+ years of knowledge and experience.


Raechal has a Passion for storytelling, creating stories with the children around anything and everything.
