Partou Storytimes Day Nursery & Pre-school is a magical new nursery in Atherton, providing exceptional care and education for children aged birth to five.

The newly refurbished nursery on Leigh Road boasts two fabulous outdoor play areas with a mud kitchen, dens, painting tunnel, bug hotel, theatre stage and more! The children go on expeditions into these adventure gardens every day, come rain or shine.

Storytimes’ bright spacious playrooms are filled with state-of-the-art toys and resources, helping children to learn in a stimulating environment. There are special rooms for all stages of development, from the soft and cosy Baby Rooms to the exciting Pre-school Rooms - where children are prepared for big school.

Children at the nursery enjoy a delicious seasonal menu bursting with fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. All of the nursery’s healthy meals and snacks are freshly prepared on-site by the Nursery Chef, and can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

Fun learning activities are supported by the nursery’s highly qualified team of childcare practitioners, who keep parents involved by keeping a Learning Journey for each child. Staff have enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training, with additional qualifications in paediatric first aid training.

My daughter absolutely adores the friendly team at Storytimes Day Nursery, she currently attends pre-school 4 days a week and is always very talkative about her learn and play experiences when I collect her. The facilities are great, there is a lot of learning through play and imagination which is
fantastic and it has really helped to develop my daughter with her speech, communication and numeracy. The meal menus are also great, I have a very fussy eater and whilst at nursery, she seems to demolish most of the freshly prepared food! The nursery are also good with communicating with parents, any problems or questions - somebody is always around to speak too and they also plan ahead and provide you with dates for your diaries in advance.

Lovely nursery with friendly and cheerful staff the children love to play with. After looking around other nurseries this is the best by far in the area. Clean, safe, fun and a controlled environment. My 2 year old enjoys nursery and has made many friends. Her speech and communication skills have come
on so much.

Storytimes is a brilliant nursery, the staff are fab, very friendly and professional and the nursery has really good facilities.

I am very happy with Storytimes Private Day Nursery and Pre-School. My toddler currently attends two days a week and thoroughly enjoys his time there. He has made lots of friends and enjoys all the activities. He has especially enjoyed the 'stretch and grow sessions'.


The staff are always very friendly,

professional and offer support when needed. My son has recently become toilet trained and the staff were extremely encouraging and offered really useful tips and advice.


I would be highly likely to recommend Storytimes Private Day Nursery and Pre-School to any parent.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since March 2017, before they merged with Storytimes (Buttons & Bows) and now attends Storytimes. She loves the nursery and staff.
We like that she has healthy food, the facilities are great and the activities are varied. Unfortunately, due to my daughter
only attending two days per week she does miss out on trips out as they are scheduled for the days she doesn't attend. We really enjoy seeing her nursery milestones via the new e-Learning Journey book and think it's an effective way to keep up to date with their child's day-to-day activities. I've raised before that there isn't enough 'directed' communication home with the parents, as they are heavily reliant on noticeboards and social media, rather than letters/emails sent directly home. Therfore, information is often missed, especially when parents are in a rush. The nursery have assured me that newsletters etc will be emailed home in future and I'm hopeful that will be put into practice soon. Overall, I would recommend Storytimes.

My little boy joined the nursery at the age of three, following a split from his father we decided to split his nursery time between two nurseries. I was worried that he wouldn't settle but he has been made to feel so welcome. The whole team are extremely warm and friendly and have helped him settle
in perfectly. The staff in other rooms all know his name and all say morning, it's a warm friendly nursery and I would recommend to others and would also use again if I have any more children.

My child started Storytimes in July, she settled in very quickly, she loves the staff and is very happy to be left at the nursery. She has lots of friends. Staff are very approachable and accommodating. The manager is visible in the nursery at all times and greets parents and children on arrival.


My

child is being challenged in her development. The pre-school room staff are always coming up with ways to get the children to engage in learning, in very fun and interactive ways. The activities are constantly changing. Parents are kept informed of their child’s development, what they are learning and eating. The children are offered homework, (parents preference) which prepares them for school. They go swimming which my daughter loves. All the food is homemade, which caters for any allergies. My daughter has started to eat new things and this is evident in the home too. I am very happy with the quality of care and attention she gets at Storytimes, this nursery is superb and it’s a lovely, friendly environment.

My daughter started in January 2018 and she was a year and a half on starting. It was based at their old premises and changed to their current building which is fabulous.
The girls are great in what they do and it's not an easy job as it is more than playing with the children. They help and guide
them in their development, I am starting potty training and they will implement what I do at home so that she will do the same there.


My daughter is so happy going on her days when we say let's go to nursery today, she shouts yeah and gets all excited. This shows that she very happy in her environment and with who looks after her. It is reassuring for myself as a parent that I am leaving her knowing she is happy to be there.


Management and staff are lovely and very helpful if there is anything is needed.

This Nursey is outstanding!!!


My four year old has attended from the start and he has developed so much in the last 6 month since the new nursery has opened.

They are amazing and have worked so hard with him in order get him to feel comfortable, we went through 3 years of him crying every morning

when he went to nursery, to now him not being able to wait to get there. He has grown in confidence and has some amazing bonds with all the staff.


I can really see how dedicated they are to these children and it has been wonderful to see, not only the children grow but also the staff there too. I can’t recommend it enough to someone, please go and have a look around and see for your self.


One very happy parent.

All the staff really friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. Go above and beyond to help with child's development and rooms are filled with activities aimed to improve a child's development and learning. I feel my child is safe and happy when at Storytimes and would not have him in any
