Overall Experience

My little girl started at next generation in October 2024 at 18 months, I was so worried and nervous about the whole thing but when I attended the profiling session the ladies who would be looking after my daughter made me instantly at ease.
Upon my daughter starting she took a few weeks to settle

due to her only attending once a week but the ladies in the baby room kept me updated throughout the day with the app which I absolutely love!
They are so caring and respond so quickly.
My daughter has bonded with the ladies in there which is lovely and she loves interacting and playing with the children.
Honestly I could not fault this nursery, they have been amazing throughout and I look forward to seeing her grow from attending here.

Overall Experience

Amazing nursery. Don't fault the staff one bit my daughter loves going nursery. Every time she comes back she is exhausted all staff are so friendly and understanding. My daughter always mentions the teachers there. There food choices are great different cultured food on the menu.

Overall Experience

Myself and my husband can not express how amazing this nursery is!
They have always gone the extra mile accommodating friendly helpful.
Our child runs in every morning and cuddles all the young ladies who work in her room.
We have faced some health problems with our little one and all the staff

have been so compassionate and helpful and so caring not only to our little one but also to myself and have done their best to help us navigate through this difficult time always obliging and understanding throughout.
There are really is not enough words in the dictionary to express my gratitude to all staff that work here.

Overall Experience

Our 2nd daughter has been through all the classes/rooms of Next Generation Day Nursery Barnehurst, and she has grown up to be a confident, happy and curious girl. This is achieved through varied activities and keep the children challenged and engaged.
With our schedules, we have trusted the Nursery

to help with our child's early development 4 days a week from 8am to 6pm, and we are so glad we picked Next Generation Day Nursery.
The team are fantastic, and in addition, the admin team are very helpful and also provide helpful reminders on key actions we need to take for our children. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Overall Experience

It's a lovely environment for your children to start getting used to mixing with others. The girls always have plenty planned for the children to do. There is a good daily routine and the dinner menu is a great variety of meals. I think there are two things that I find could be improved, for children

who need a more assertive approach to being told when they are being naughty "Kind hands" doesn't always work. Time out and to say no be gentle is a lot better. Another thing that I find hard to keep up with is the amount of apprentices there seems to be. There seems to be a lot less permanent staff than when my son originally started coming in September 2023 to present. Overall it is a lovely nursery and my son loves going and having fun with the other children and the girls looking after him.

I would like to reassure you that we do not use agency staff, we don't usually have more than 1 apprentice per room per day, however, we do overstaff our Toddler Room keeping the ratio of 1:4 instead of the new 1:5 ratio. We believe in training apprentices to become excellent nursery nurses. We have recently had a change over of apprentices so it could seem that there were more than usual. Please do come to the office to discuss any worries or concerns that you may have, we are always happy to talk.

Overall Experience

Sending my son to nursery was a little unsettling due to him being at such a young age. However I have noticed within just the short space of time of his attending, his development skills have progressed. I feel that the staff at the nursery all take a big interest in wanting young children to thrive

and this definitely shows when he's at home.

Overall Experience

Next Generation is fantastic. Our daughter started in September 2024 and the staff put us at ease so quickly. It is like dropping our child off to family. The information and pictures they share throughout the day are incredibly useful and they are great at communicating.
The care they show the children

and the parents/carers is outstanding!

Overall Experience

My daughter started at Next Generation in September, the team have been very welcoming and are always very friendly and have time to answer any questions we have at drop off/pick up. My daughter has settled in really well and the staff in the baby room have been instrumental in that.
I love to see

the photos/updates when shared on the app of what they have been getting up to and the team are always quick to respond to any messages.
I really appreciate the peace of mind of knowing she is being well looked after whilst at nursery, and feel that each of the staff make an effort to know the children on a one-to-one basis.

My child has been with Next Generation since September and we couldn't be happier. All the staff are lovely and you can tell they genuinely care about Cody. He is growing in confidence and his understanding gets better every day. Thank you to the staff for providing him with so much love, care and lovely

experiences which help him to grow and learn. My child's daddy and I feel very confident leaving him in their care. We also love the app which gives us lots of contact during the day. We definitely made the right choice.

Overall Experience

A lovely nursery, my daughter can be a little shy at first but the nursery brings her out of her shell. They always have a structured day of activities, crafts, books. Food is always lovely and my daughter eats all most days.

Overall Experience

My little one started just after her first birthday and was really unsettled at first as she wasn't used to being away from me. All of the staff have been so patient and have spent so much time helping her settle, as well as helping to console me when I was feeling awful for leaving her! She has settled

really well now after around a month and loves the staff there. And the food, which sounds delicious! We get regular updates on the app throughout the day, such as food, nappies and naps, and get some lovely photos on there too.
We are really pleased we chose this nursery.

Overall Experience

My baby started in September 2024 and has come along leaps and bounds. The staff are polite, warm and very attentive. The nursery is bright and engaging. The food is nutritious, varied and is suited to each child and their needs. My baby is very happy, and so are we.

We absolutely love Next Generation Day Nursery. Our daughter started here when she was just one year old, and she's now in the preschool room, getting ready for reception next year.
Watching her grow and learn in such a warm and supportive environment has been amazing.
The staff is very knowledgeable,

attentive, and caring. Our daughter is learning new skills every day and growing into such a confident, curious, and capable little person.
We also really appreciate the frequent updates the staff share with us via the app, keeping us informed about what our daughter is up to during the day. They also give helpful recommendations on ways we can continue supporting her development at home, which has made us feel so much more connected to her learning journey.
We feel so lucky to have found Next Generation Day Nursery, and we would recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, inspiring place for their child!

Overall Experience

Could not recommend Next Generation Day Nursery highly enough. My eldest daughter attended and now my son attends and it has been consistently excellent throughout the seven year period. There are a number of varied activities set out daily for the children which are all linked to learning and development

and more than I could ever set up daily! My son thoroughly enjoyed all of the Christmas activities throughout December, especially the Christmas concert. The food menu is excellent, plenty of variation with fruit and vegetables at lunch and dinner times. The staff are nurturing towards the children which is particularly important to me given my son is still so little he needs that home-from-home comfort.

Overall Experience

My son has settled really well and is thriving at the nursery. Nursery has been good in helping him overcome his stranger anxiety and learn so many new skills. My eldest son attended since he was 2 until he went to school and his brother started in the baby room when he was one and still goes here. They both loved it, the staff was very kind and took good care of the children. I find the app updates great, especially the photos. The activities they provide

are exciting, they do a lot of messy play. I also appreciate the fact that they organize events for parents to attend on special occasions such as Mother's Day and Christmas.
The space is nice, decent size and the preschool free flow area and garden at the back are fab, the children spend time outside daily. They cook on-site and my child eats well at the nursery but I would love to see a variety of veg (mindful not all children would eat them so the nursery needs to strike a balance there).

I don’t know where to start other than to say I cannot fault Next Generation Day Nursery! They are amazing and I’m beyond pleased that my daughter attends this day nursery. Having previously tried a different nursery prior to these, to say the difference in the 2 is outstanding is an understatement.

My little girl had a hard time settling for her own reasons however, all staff went above and beyond to help settle her. She has come such a long way since starting and now loves going there. Each member of staff is lovely, friendly, helpful and so good with the children. They express concerns where necessary and keep you updated via an app on your child’s progress and daily activities when attending. They ensure to update you on nappy changes, what food has been had and sleep times. Fresh food is given daily with lots of variety. As I started with, there are no faults with this nursery and I’m very grateful that my little girl attends here. Thank you all for your hard work!
