Funding & Fees Guide for Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-school Andover

  • 0-2 Years:
    Non-Farm Member Full Day (8am – 6pm) - £87.50
    Farm Member Full Day (8am – 6pm) - £79
    Half Day (8am – 1pm or 1pm – 6pm) - £55.70
    Ad Hoc Hourly Rate - £12.85


    2-5 Years:
    Non-Farm Member Full Day (8am – 6pm) - £85.50
    Farm Member Full Day (8am – 6pm) - £77
    Half Day (8am – 1pm or 1pm – 6pm) - £54.20
    Ad Hoc Hourly Rate - £12.45


    Early Club 7.30am – 8 am is £5 per session, payable in advance via the parent area.


    We accept the 9-month, 2, 3 and 4 year old funding, however this funding does not cover certain sundries so any child using the grant will be charged a sundries fee of £2 per hour on these days.


  • We are approved providers of Hampshire County Council’s free early year’s educational grant for 2, 3 and 4-year olds. This funding is available for all children from the term after their third birthday regardless of family circumstances. We will supply you with all the required information and parent declaration forms for you to complete, as your child reaches the appropriate age. This funding does not cover certain sundries, activities, visits and hot meals so if a child is using the grant a daily charge of will be payable. Details on this can be provided from the Nursery Manager. Children eligible for 2-year-old funding and EYPP may qualify for a discount.


    There is a charge of £2 per funded hour for meals/sundries.

Our twins have been at the nursery for 9 months and their development in that time is outstanding.
They both love attending and every morning they are excited to go.
We definitely made the best decision in sending them to Finkley.

I am so happy we decided to enrol my son in Finkley nursery. He loves it and all the staff are very professional, friendly and caring. Having access to the farm is amazing and receiving weekly updates about what they have been doing which is great.

Our son loves this nursery and is very happy here. He is a very active child and always comes home having been occupied all day. His confidence has grown so much since starting nursery.
His speech is excellent. He loves the staff and talks about them all at home. We love the outdoor aspect and that
all age groups play together, enabling them to learn from the older children. Our son plays well independently and interacts well with other children. We would recommend this nursery to any parent.

Charlie is the Nursery Manager of Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Preschool and has been working here since March 2020. Charlie has a degree in Children's Development and Learning and is Level 6 Qualified.


We asked Charlie what her favourite part about working with children is and she said;


"I love seeing how confident and curious the children are and how they are able to extend their own learning with the support of their peers and adults. I always feel so proud seeing such happy children at the nursery throughout the day".

Hello my name is Jennifer Russell or you can call me Jen. Some of the children fondly call me Jen Jen!


I am the Deputy Manager here at the farm and I have worked in the Finkley family since we opened in September 2017!


I have worked in early years for 18 years and I pride myself on working closely with both the children and you the parents/carers.


I have a Level 5 qualification as well as extended learning in portage and special education needs in early years.

Kirsty-Anne started with us in February 2022 and is one of our Nursery Practitioners at Finkley Down Farm Nursery. She also has her SENCO Qualification and works closely with our settings SENCO to support any SEN needs.

"I love being with the children and all of their individual personalities and how each child is different in their own way. It has always been a big reward to see SEN children reach milestones and succeed in their learning."

Amy has been part of our Finkley Family since 2017 and is one of our longest-serving members of staff. Amy has a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and is currently studying for her Level 3 Qualification.


We asked Amy what her favourite part of working at Finkley was and she said;


"My favourite part about working at Finkley is building really strong bonds with my key children and getting to know their families too! I also enjoy how every day is different and no day is ever the same as it always makes me wonder what each day has in store! One of my favourite things to do at Finkley is setting up exciting Tuff Trays for the children and I love seeing their reactions when they come to play with them!"

Job Title: Finkley Group Manager

Joined: 2017

Sarah is the Finkley Group Manager of Finkley Nurseries. She has been working at Finkley since it opened in September 2017, starting as the manager of Finkley Andover before being promoted to the Finkley Group Manager in June 2021, where she now oversees all of the settings. She also has a degree in Early Years Education.

"Working with children allows me the opportunity to develop a new purpose every day. I love watching the children's curious minds explore the environment that we as a setting create for them and find this particularly rewarding."

Dani is our SENCo Manager and supports all of our Finkley Nurseries in meeting the needs of all children within our care, Danielle joined the Finkley family in March 2021. Dani is currently working towards her degree in Special Education Needs and Inclusivity.
