Munchkins Laindon offers top quality childcare in a setting just 800m from Laindon station, and a 3 minute drive to access the A127, where every child matters and is treated as an individual in a safe and secure environment.

The beautiful, award-winning nursery cares for children aged 3 months to 4 years in a wonderful bespoke setting. Their ethos is for the children to enjoy an environment that all feel welcomed, loved and stimulated in, where every child is treated as an individual with their interests and sparks encouraged and developed.

The rooms are warm and inviting with natural resources and neutral tones to create a warm, cosy environment. They encourage all children to be curious, with open-ended resources to develop every child's imagination whilst developing each child's emotional well being by providing a loving, caring environment.

The nursery's inspiring outdoor area enables children to explore and be physical, with extensive wooden play resources including a mud kitchen, A frame, large walk-in sandpit. The baby Munchkins have their own separate garden area, which is filled with carefully thought out age-appropriate resources which enable physical development.

Munchkins, has achieved the accolade of BEST NURSERY IN ESSEX 2020, which they are extremely proud of, voted for by parents! Along with this award, the team are all working towards a year long "Just Quality" accreditation examining the impact they make upon children and how they can enhance their learning and development.

The team is also Makaton trained and sign daily to develop communication and language from babies to Pre schoolers. They are also working towards becoming one of the first Makaton friendly settings in Essex.

My son has been attending Munchkins Nursery since I went back to work in March and he absolutely loves it. It’s such a friendly nursery and he has built some wonderful relationships with the staff and other children. He has come on leaps and bounds since attending Munchkins and he gets excited every
time I drop him off to play and learn all day. I would highly recommend this wonderful nursery. Well done to the manager and all the team.

My son has been at Muchkins Nursery since October 2018. He really enjoys going to nursery and seeing/playing with his friends. I find the staff members very kind, supportive and professional. My son's development has really flourished with all the key stages for his development being met.

Munchkins Nursery is a great nursery. It has helped my daughter develop skills like eating independently, writing, vocabulary and playing with other children. My daughter absolutely loves it there and runs in the door when I drop her off.
All the key workers and staff are lovely and my daughter has
a great relationship with them.
They keep me up to date with her progress and what she has been up to during the day via the app and verbal feedback. I am very happy with my daughter attending there.

My son has been attending this nursery since July 2017.
He has come on leaps and bounds since attending and it is thanks to the wonderful caring staff who care for him.


Staff are always friendly and best of all always so honest about their day. If he's had a bad day, they are honest, likewise when

he's had a fantastic day they are full of admiration for him too.


Tapestry is fantastic, as it means you can stay connected with what goes on whilst you are working.


There are always newletters, and parent 'question of the month' which is a great way for us all to stay in touch.


The manager and the management team are the most helpful, they will honestly bend over backwards to help wherever they can.


I really trust my son in their care and I do not trust many. Best of all, he always goes in excited and comes home smiling.


Thank you for making his experience so excellent at such an influential time.

The staff are amazing and genuinely care about my boy.
He loves going to nursery and loves all the staff and friends.
The staff were so good at settling myself into this new process as well as my son. The activities and learning are varied and thoughtful. They always try to get the kids playing outside
which I love. The food is always healthy and varied. The room is stimulating and very learning based, as well as play. My son is more confident and independent.

We couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. Our one-year-old son receives excellent care from friendly staff who always give us a full report on his day.
Every week, tapestry allows us to see photos and evidence of his progress and he has access to a wide range of learning opportunities.

Amazing place. This is my daughter's second nursery and the increase in quality is amazing. The cleanliness of the place is something to boast about. The outdoor facilities and freeflow availability is something my daughter loves.
