Romsey Day Nursery and Preschool boasts large outside spaces and a purpose-built building. The nursery is divided into four areas: Babies; Toddlers; Transition and Preschool.

In their dedicated area upstairs, babies benefit from a private roof garden and sensory room, where they're able to explore freely and safely.

The team at Bright Horizons Romsey are excellent at caring for our 4 year old. She comes home happy each day and has clearly developed strong bonds with her keyworkers.
The food isn't quite as good as when a previous member of staff was in the kitchen - my daughter doesn't eat as much as she used to.
The
nursery has recently undergone a refresh and looks much better inside. Some money does need to be invested to tidy up the outside space a bit.

My child enjoys playing with her friends at preschool. She has a lot of time outside and is provided with a balanced healthy meal. The staff are always friendly. We would recommend.

We are always happy to hear how many activities out little boy has been doing. There is so much variety and all from educational. The outside space could do with some TLC. But otherwise we love the nursery/preschool.

The building is bright, airy and clean and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. The entrance is calm and the table of objects to explore is a particular favourite of my child. My child has struggled to settle at preschool, but the staff have taken time to help and support him, get to know him and
provide him with the consistency and structure he needs. They encourage him to get involved when he would naturally do his own thing. They place and deliver exciting and stimulating activities which my child enjoys telling us about. It is lovely to see pictures on the app of what he's been doing and to find out his next steps. He enjoys the food and we've been impressed by the variety children are offered (plus it always smells good)!

From the moment we viewed Bright Horizons Romsey we knew this was the right nursery for our daughter. She has been at the nursery for almost 6 months now and is really happy and developing her social and physical skills. The staff are really great and ensure key relationships are formed with the children
and their parents. We feel so comfortable sending our daughter here and we know she will continue to thrive thanks to the nursery and it's amazing staff.

We love that our little girl is safe hands and she is cared for, She has learnt so much by been around other children and the staff who are all very lovely. The renovation new classrooms looks amazing and have more open spaces for the children to explore. What we would like to see more is diversity
in the staff so children can relate more to in this day and age where diversity is important.

We moved to the area in November and Bright Horizons Romsey were really accommodating and understanding during a tricky house move My little girl has settled in beautifully and has really bonded with her key worker and grown a lot in confidence. We are very happy here!

We've only bee here a month, but feels like much longer. Our daughter has settled in so well, from her very first settling in session, she's loved it. We were nervous about how she'd do as she was so settled before, but it's all been great! Can't comment too much on the learning and activities so far,
but she's very happy, which is our main concern. We don't get as much feedback as what she's done at the end of the day, but maybe that's "pre-school" rather than nursery.

Always feel happy to leave my toddler with such a great team. My name is Helen Allen and I have worked in childcare for 11 years and Bright Horizons for 7 years. I started as a Room Leader and have progressed to Deputy Manager recently. I joined Romsey Nursery in August 2020, where I share the vision of the nursery to deliver high-quality experiences through fun, enriching and stimulating activities for the children as well as having a strong parent partnership.
