We had a fantastic experience from the baby room up to pre-school. The staff are caring and helpful, and they have setup convenient systems for parents. They setup amazing activities in a great setting and our child has always loved the food. Our child is vegetarian and this has been no problem! They
helped our child develop and be ready for their next steps and we feel lucky to have had such a great nursery near to us.

Great nursery, professionally run and really great safeguarding protocols. A big improvement from our nursery in London. Staff are always attentive to your child's needs and there are not a lot of temporary staff (ie your child gets consistent face to face with their key worker).

My daughter was informed that I am not her mother, and this led to her expressing her frustration loudly at the nursery. In the oak classroom, her diaper often went unchanged. As a result, I chose not to seek assistance with her potty training.

My daughter started with Bright Horizons Didcot Day Nursery and Preschool in March 2023, she settled so quickly with welcoming and supporting staff. We can get detailed updates about her day-to-day activities. Staff always went over and above to make her happy. She initially took her time to get used
to food in nursery, staff were eating the same food with her to encourage her eating. My daughter always looks forward to going to nursery. She has a few transitions as she progresses to different rooms and with different key workers, all of them have been great. As parents, it's hard to leave your child away from you while working long days but staff looked after her so well which gave such a happy experience for my daughter, made it easy. Early foundation age of child is so important and staff take it seriously and help them to flourish in individual wayd. We had a very positive experience. Thank you so much.

This is our second child at the Bright Horizons Didcot and we couldn't be happier. Our 16 month is always happy to go to nursey, they do such fun activities for the children and take great care of the children. All the staff are so friendly and caring towards the children. Absolutely brilliant nursery and preschool. Our daughter is just about to start school, having been here for four years and I can honestly say that the team across the whole nursery, from the baby room through to preschool, chefs, leadership and support staff, are simply fabulous. So friendly, warm
and caring, and they are so good with the children. Amazing memories have been made over the years and lots of learning through play.
The graduation event for preschool was so special too - thank you to the whole team for giving this year's preschool children such a wonderful event (and a lovely event for us parents to be part of too).
I am so glad we chose you to look after our little one - you're all superstars. I've loved seeing the updates through the day of what she's been up to, getting pictures and working together with you to give our child the best support and love to help her succeed. Thank you for helping her grow to be ready for the next adventure at school! We will miss you all.

To the wonderful Didcot Bright Horizons Team.
Just a quick note to say a massive thank you for the amazing graduation ceremony you put on for the kids! On the hottest day of the year, no less! You all deserve medals for pulling that off so smoothly.
The garden looked fantastic, and having two film
characters there was pure genius - the kids were over the moon! You could see the joy and excitement on their faces, and it was all thanks to your hard work and planning.
Honestly, you guys should be proud of yourselves. You've created some magical memories for our little ones (and us parents too). We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate. Our little one will be talking about this for the rest of the year.

Cannot rate the nursery highly enough. They have always been so great with our two children. The communication is good, both throughout the day, giving updates and with the office. The staff are, without exception, really warm and friendly and genuinely care about the children in their care. One of
our children has additional needs and they were excellent at helping us navigate our way into the extra services that she needed.
We feel very lucky to have had this nursery on our doorstep.

My son started nursery last year and he has been loving it. He likes playing outside so the school's outside facilities give him the chance to play and explore. He was not speaking well when he started and there has been a massive improvement since. He has more words now and he speaks more clearly.

Since our daughter has moved over to Bright Horizons Didcot Day Nursery and Preschool she has grown so much in confidence and skills and has built up a strong network of friends to enjoy each nursery day with. The team are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond to build a strong connection with

Facilities are good at nursery but I really hope that during the first week of baby joining daycare, to ease settling process for mother and baby both, should allow few hours to spend with baby in daycare. Mainly considering no half day allowed anymore.

Clean and organised nursery. Lovely staff. Lots of different activities planned for each day to help little ones' development. Daily outdoor play. Halal food available. My little one started in December 2023 and settled in so well with no issues. The communication, either face to face or the app, from the staff daily is amazing and great to see what she’s eating and getting up to. They picked up on my little one’s speech issues within a few weeks and spoke to us and
came up with a plan. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

I was quite nervous about our son starting nursery at 9 months old. However, the staff have all been so friendly and welcoming. It is clear that they really care about the children. Thanks to this our son settled in very quickly. He really enjoys his time at nursery and he is always happy to go into
Acorns. I love receiving the photo updates and seeing the wide range of activities that he is experiencing. It is clear that going to nursery is really helping his development. Knowing that he is happy and in such a safe and caring environment has made going back to work much easier.

All three of our boys have attended Bright Horizons Didcot Day Nursery and Preschool and we cannot rate the staff here highly enough. The management staff are so professional and always make you feel the children are safe. The communication from the team is marvellous. They were particularly supportive
as our family was going through a difficult time post-pandemic. The staff in the rooms are so caring and supportive and create the most amazing activities to help with the children’s development. We have felt supported and listened to through all different stages, from potty training to difficult drop-offs. And a shout out to the chef who makes sure the kids have a tailored, nutritious and tasty meal every day. Thanks to you all for making my children’s childcare feel so safe and happy.

I can't fault Bright Horizons Didcot Day Nursery and Preschool! We moved from another nursery so I've had the luxury of comparing two and this one goes above and beyond my expectations. We're always welcomed with a friendly face and the care my daughter receives is wonderful. She has allergies so meals
were really important to me and Bright Horizons caters for that really well. When I see what she's been served and eaten I feel really comforted knowing she's not being treated differently. Thank you Didcot Day Nursery!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Joined: 2011

Ellis has worked in childcare for 18 years, gaining extensive experience across a variety of settings with children ranging from birth to 11 years old. She joined the Didcot setting when it opened in September 2018, starting as Deputy Manager. Over the past nine years with Bright Horizons, Ellis has steadily grown and developed, advancing through several leadership roles before becoming Nursery Manager.

In the past six months, Ellis has had the privilege of presenting at the National Nursery Managers Show at both the NEC in Birmingham and the Excel in London. These opportunities allowed her to share her passion for incorporating a sustainability curriculum into early years education.
