Funding & Fees Guide for Godmanchester Pre-School

  • Current fees are: £23.00 per 3 hours session for 2, 3 and 4-year-old's, and £46.00 for a full day (08:45am - 2:45pm for 2, 3 and 4 year old's).


    Children are eligible for funding in the term following their third birthday. All 3 and 4 Year olds can access funded hours, and if eligible up to 30 funded hours.


    If your child is two-years old, your child may be eligible to attend the 2 year old funded childcare programme.

  • All fee's are subject to review and advance notice will be given of any changes.

Was really concerned about my daughter starting after no interaction with other children due to covid but my daughter couldn’t be happier. She adores her keyworker and they are great with her allergies and medication. So happy with sending her and she asks me to do more days and gets sad if it’s a day
she doesn’t have preschool.

A very good place to place your children in. Recommend to all parents. My daughter is happy when going there. A bit busy when you have to pick up your child but probably it's normal everywhere. Looking forward to seeing how it will be from September for the full six hours.

This is a lovely, friendly place with loads of activities and fun for every age. The staff are very friendly and approachable. I would be happier if the bad behaviour of some children was controlled in a more effective way but overall I am glad I have chosen this setting for my daughter.

The staff are amazing, they really nurture the children and my daughter has come on leaps and bounds since being there. The communication from staff to parents is great too. There is a wide and varied range of activities for the children to do each day.

I cannot speak highly of all the staff - especially one lady. When my little boy is feeling down or not quite himself, she will always go the extra mile for him. She really is a credit to the pre-school and my son adores her.

A good setting, my daughter likes going there and enjoys spending time there. I only ever had one small concern, which I haven’t addressed with the staff, so cannot vote negatively. The staff seem nice and friendly and my daughter says they are helpful.

My child is going through a lot of change, and just becoming a big sister I thought she would be quite unsettled with the new staff coming in and familiar faces leaving but they have been amazing at making it feel comfortable for the children and she is as happy as ever going into school each day. She's
also coming on leaps and bounds with her learning and writing. So happy with them all, amazing staff!

Really fantastic staff, we have had two children go to this preschool now and they have managed each one's needs brilliantly- one with allergies and one with very complex needs. They couldn’t have been more adaptive and responsive to each child.

Our daughter started at the pre-school in September 2021 and at first, found it very difficult being left somewhere new. The staff were tremendously supportive of her anxieties and settling in process which meant she settled relatively quickly and is now happy and relaxed at the preschool. The staff
are all friendly and approachable and seem genuinely invested in the children. The activities and facilities they provide are brilliant and our daughter always comes home happy. There’s not a lot more we could ask for from a pre-school.

I have been very impressed by the kindness and professional care from the staff at Godmanchester Pre-School. My grandson has learning disabilities which means he needs a careful eye. They are always keen to be inclusive, and yet aware of all professional procedures to be acknowledged. I have experienced
many pre-schools through two children and grandchildren. Quite simply - this one is one of the best.

My daughter absolutely loves going into preschool, and she has become so much more confident since joining! Her reading and writing had significantly improved, and she always comes home excited to share what she’s learnt that day. I really appreciate the regular learning and play updates I get on the
app; they’re always so detailed and thorough. My daughter is also feeling much more comfortable with the idea of moving up to primary school thanks to her teacher's efforts. I really recommend them!

Being a mother my experience with this preschool is very good because my son enjoys the school. He is going to school every day very happily. He loves the friends and teachers. All teachers, staff, and management are very helpful, kind, and hard-working. They are doing an excellent job. My personal

Our family cannot recommend this pre-school enough. Our eldest child attended and had a great experience but it is the care and attention that the team have shown our youngest that has impressed us the most. Our little boy has significant special needs and a medical condition - all of which have been
treated with competence, sensitivity and above all, kindness. The team have always provided us with incredible support and advice as we go through the challenging process of getting our son the support he needs, thus making a very difficult situation that little bit easier. This individual approach to childcare has far surpassed our expectations from a mainstream pre-school.
We have every confidence in this team, especially the management. Most importantly, our little boy adores his time here and will happily abandon Mummy for a fun day at pre school!

Such a wonderful pre-school. My four-year-old is very happy here. Very caring and professional staff, with effective and efficient management from the manager. They always focus on the positives and the children have lots of opportunities for fun, learning and play. Next week they have baby farm animals
visiting them!
I'm very happy and so pleased I chose here for my son.

My daughter attends Godmanchester Pre-School and my wife and I as parents are extremely happy with her learning development at the setting. We are equally grateful to the management and staff of this school for their care and devotion to all the kids and for the excellent work they are doing. The entire
atmosphere at the setting is a very positive and healthy one, I will recommend it for any parents, they are genuinely one of the very best around here.

The pre-school made me feel very comfortable in a hard time as my daughter started during Covid. I was allowed to sit outside while she got to explore inside with me still in view. She enjoys going and I love the app used to share pictures of what they get up to. I cannot comment on the inside of the
pre-school as due to Covid I have not actually been in to see the premises.
