Each room has been carefully designed to support the growth and development of each child, with babies starting in a safe and comfortable space that encourages exploration and learning through play. Soft play equipment, sensory baskets, and musical instruments are all available for little ones to use and enjoy.

As children progress to the 2-4 room, they have free-flow access to the garden, where they can play and learn with age-appropriate resources such as a digital computer table, role play area, and arts and crafts area. The nursery also focuses on preparing children for their journey to school.

The attached garden is a lovely addition, offering ample space for outdoor play and exploration that sparks children's imaginations and love for the natural world. At the nursery, outdoor play is a priority, and children spend plenty of time in the fresh air.

The staff are very friendly, and meeting my child’s needs and always willing to try different things to help with my child's development.

A great secure environment for my daughter to learn and thrive.
The staff are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and engage with the children brilliantly.
As parents, we are kept updated regularly, but not evasively.
The facilities are brilliant, and I would highly recommend them.

Our daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time since starting nursery here in summer 2020.
We have seen her grow in confidence and her abilities to learn new things. She always talks about her time spent there and what she has learnt.
It is lovely to see her so happy with the staff, and they are all
very supportive and will help with anything you need for your Childs development.

The Old Station Nursery has been fantastic during the last several months. From when our son first started several months ago, the standard has been nothing short of excellent. We feel he is always well looked after, the staff are caring, kind and patient. The facilities and activities are absolutely
first-rate.


Can't recommend highly enough - not a single negative point to say.

This nursery is like a home for my son! He is enjoying the time spent here, learnt a lot, is having fun playing indoor and outdoor, likes his teachers and started to tell me their names. He is a happy kid!

Since starting at the nursery, I am confident that my daughter has settled well and is happy when she is there. She goes in happy and comes home tired from a fun morning. The staff are lovely which puts me at ease leaving her. The daily diary shows that she gets up to lots of fun activities and the
outside space is just fantastic.

I have nothing but praise for the team at our son’s nursery. Since he started there he has come along leaps and bounds and seems really happy when we pull up outside. I’m sure he will continue to develop apace and as parents, we couldn’t be happier.
I highly recommend this nursery.

My son has attended Mottershead Drive for about 9-months now since I returned to work after maternity leave. He just loves it there, he loves the team and talks about them every day. This, in itself, is proof of how happy he is there. The manager and the team give daily reports on all daily information
and also use Log for his learning Journey. This is lovely to have photos uploaded of activities throughout the day. Since he has attended the nursery, he has grown so much in confidence, his language has developed hugely. I would and do 100% recommend this setting to anyone. I trust the team there to look after and support his development.

My son has attended the 0-2 year group for just over 12 months, he settled in very well and thoroughly enjoyed going in. He built a good rapport with the staff and I loved watching his development on the online system. He has recently transitioned up to the 2 - 4 year group and the staff made it so
easy for him, there have been no dramas with him going in and he is loving all the new activities.
Thank you to all the staff at Mottershead Drive.

Mottershead is like a home from home. The professional staff work really hard to foster a caring and inclusive atmosphere in which our child is thriving. He cannot wait to get to nursery in the morning, and more often than not doesn't want to leave! I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

Lovely friendly nursery with caring proactive staff. They have fantastic facilities and activities but a small homely feel with small classes and consistent staff. My son has formed a real bond with the team and it is wonderful to drop him off with and pick him up from the same person who really knows
him. They have been really supportive of my son’s medical needs and very proactive at making sure they have everything in place for him and flexible with individual requirements such as food. They keep clear records and it’s been fantastic to see his progress since he started; it’s been a relief to go to work knowing he’s having such a fun time and staff are able to give him such a range of opportunities I wouldn’t be able to do at home! Everything included in the fee which also makes it much easier. We absolutely love how diverse the nursery is; so pleased we chose here. Every time we pop in the children are happy and staff are engaging with them. He is very happy here.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the nursery at Mottershead Drive. Our daughter loves going and we always feel that she is safe and well looked after. Her communication has come on in leaps and bounds whilst at nursery and she is fond of the staff who are so wonderful with her. We really feel
like we definitely made the right choice in entrusting the nursery with the care of our daughter.
