Crescent Day Nursery, set in a converted building not far from Birmingham city centre, offers a welcoming and inclusive setting. Great public transport links make the nursery a convenient option for commuting parents, and the onsite parking makes drop offs and pick ups as easy as possible.

Lovingly restored, children benefit from the setting's large and characterful spaces. There are four playrooms in the nursery as well as a safe and secure garden to ensure children benefit from time spent outdoors.

A range of resources and activities are designed and implemented by an experienced and kind team, with every aspect of provision created with the EYFS principles in mind, seeking to promote social, emotional and physical development.

Parents and families benefit from a fully inclusive service that includes formula milk, nappies, nappy cream, baby wipes, sun cream and freshly prepared, well-balanced meals throughout the day.

Crescent Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Mini Athletics every alternate Monday and Friday morning from 10am to 11:30am for their Bumblebee and Pre School rooms.

*7am start is available at an additional cost. Standard opening time is 7.30am.

We couldn't be happier with Crescent Day Nursery. The level of care our son has received since joining is exceptional. The staff are so lovely and caring. We couldn't have asked for more. The facilities are fantastic and the range of activities the children do is incredibly varied. Our son has developed
so much already. A brilliant nursery.

This place is incredible; I would recommend it for any person who looks for a place that makes him/her comfortable that his/her child is with right hands. Staff were very patient with my child despite that he needed more than a month to settle in the place. The administrative team was very comparative;
we faced many issues and they solved them in a way that makes us never want to leave. All the best and love!

What an all-round amazing experience I have had! The staff are welcoming, friendly, accommodating to any needs, hardworking and so knowledgeable in developing a child’s learning.
The range of activities that my child gets to experience is fantastic; the food is healthy, delicious and always includes
a wide variety and my child could not have settled in better.
I can not recommend this nursery highly enough. They made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. My child loves going to nursery, her learning has really developed and I am so thankful to all the staff for that.

My experience with Crescent Day nursery has been very good. The staff is very courteous and caring towards the children as well as parents. They take care of my daughter's needs and wellbeing. We are updated with all the meals and activities that take place in a day, which is very reassuring. Being
away from your baby, especially when she is as young as 3 months old, was very difficult for us but the nursery made sure she is taken care of with utmost care. I am very pleased with the bond that my daughter shows with her key person!

This is an excellent daycare and nursery. The staff are all extremely caring towards the children and are very warm. They take a lot of effort to conduct various activities with the children. Parents are kept regularly updated about meals and other activities throughout the day via app which is nice.
The toys are of very good quality and they also encourage a lot of sensory play with mud, sand, reading books, poems, etc, planting seeds, and celebrating festivals, which is great. The garden is very safe. My child has started loving to spend time there and is adjusting well.

Laura is the manager of Crescent Day Nursery in Birmingham and has a wealth of experience, having worked at Childbase Partnership since 2011. Laura has a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare.


What is your favourite feature of your nursery?
I love our large outdoor environment the children have a range of experiences and our open-plan layout allows plenty of free flow.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
The range of activities that the practitioners set out for the children and how they go above and beyond for every child. We are also proud of our teamwork and how we all work together.
